Get your fall. It's time to react to La Clippers basketball. This is Clippers Talk all the chat, reaction and analysis hosted by Adam Oslay. You know he's feeling good. Take the show with you anywhere you are and get the podcast. I'm the iHeart Radio and now your host. He makes everything happen, Adam Aslan. The Clippers didn't have their best, but they still best. Did the Okac Thunder with a one o eight to one hundred victory
at Staples Center to make it seven straight wins for the Clippers. Welcome in to Clippers Talk. I'm Adam Oslin to eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy. Coming up on the show, you'll hear from the head coach, to Ron lou the player's post game, and my friend Robert Flam from Clips sp Nation is coming on. But we knew coming into the game, no Marcus Morse because he had stomach flew a bug going around. I don't know if it's the same thing
Serge Ibaka had recently where he missed a game. But then what we didn't know was Pat Bev would get hurt right knee sore Nous. He doesn't play in the second half, and he had a really good first half. He was a plus eight out there, had seven points, had three assists, one of them off a steal where he got it to Nicholas Batoum's saint Nick Batoum. I believe it was in the second quarter for an easy layup. Pat Bev was doing some nice things out there, so Reggie Jackson gets the
start in the second half. Action Jackson again does it. He fills in beautifully, had ten points on the third quarter alone. At fourteen in the game, that means he had four more in the fourth quarter, and he was two of four from three. Remember, I know he struggled at times in the bubble defensively Luca don Chech hits that shot over him against the Dallas
Mavericks in Game four of that series. But he was shooting almost fifty percent from three, and he played really good when the Clippers first brought him over from the Detroit Pistons. He was doing a little bit of everything and being a playmaker out there, and he's a score first type of point guard. And really that's what the Clippers needed in that third quarter because early on I think the lead was down to eight. They were up seventeen in the first
half. They were up seventeen in the fourth quarter. More on that in a second But in that third quarter they needed some scoring because they only put up a twenty spot in the second quarter. The offense really slowed down. They had four points through the first six minutes of the second quarter after having thirty six points in the first quarter, and they were up by seventeen after one. It was thirty six to nineteen, but the wheels kind of fell
off. The offense came to a halt, and outside of a Visa Zoobots and his energy, the ball movement just wasn't there. They had I think twelve assists in that first quarter. The offense was humming. They were playing hot potato as they have so many times this season, and the ball movement overall has been beautiful. But for the second straight game now, the Clippers
shots just thirty percent from three. After going into Friday night's game, they were leading the league shooting forty four percent from distance, and they were doing historic stuff from the outside, where that is as hot as any team has been in the last ten years. Through their first fifteen games, shooting forty four percent from three. The Clippers were that team, but they have cooled
off. They've regressed a little bit in these last two games. They still put up a lot of threes, forty six of them, to be exact, but only hit fourteen. There were some timely ones, though, and they came in the fourth quarter, one from Nicholas Batoum, one from Serge Ibaka. But after leading by seventeen with three minutes and fifty seconds in the
ball game, all of a sudden. Speaking of three pointers, George Hill, who has been around the league for a while, he's a good player, a good vet and he had a really good game where he scored twenty two points after not much on Friday night against the Clippers, but he hit three straight three pointers late in the fourth quarter and the lead was down to just six. But when you need someone to bail you out, let it be Kawhi Leonard win in doubt, get it to Kauai, get it to
the claw and he hits well. He had a big dunk in the forty five second mark to put them up by eight, and the Clippers would eventually win one o eight to one hundred. So they let a seventeen point lead slip. They didn't play their best basketball outside the first quarter. Paul George, who it sounds like was having some hamstring issues coming into the basketball game. We'll have more on that from the head coach, Tehron Loop post game
here, but that just came out and he didn't look like himself. And remember he was dealing with a hammy last year, so it's a little bit concerning. But he was four of thirteen with eleven points and didn't play the last five minutes of the game. I think to rest him once they were up by seventeen. Obviously, okay, c wasn't going away. Shay Gilds Alexander twenty three points on eight of sixteen shooting. After thirty points Friday night.
The Clippers, though, find a way. Championship teams typically can win ball games when they're playing ugly like this. They just find a way to win anyways, and it was ugly for the most part. The Clippers only
shot forty four percent. They still took care of the basketball, had just ten turnovers, but after out rebounding Okac by nineteen Friday night, they were outrebounded by five tonight at fifty one to forty six and the thunder, and they got up more shots because of that, they had twelve offensive rebounds. They had a little bit more juice than the Clippers energy wise. I know it's an afternoon start, but they started off really well with that thirty six
point first quarter. I thought they had overcome the noon swoon, the mid day malaise, however you want to put it. But the Clippers get the victory. They are thirteen or four. They are a top. I believe there's still atop the Western Conference now because they're tied with the Lakers, who did win yesterday in Chicago, but by way of the tie breaker, because they beat the Lakers head to head, they should be back atop the West.
But look out for Utah right now because they were in second place earlier today. All right, coming up, we'll have Robert flam on Clippers analysts. We'll get to your phone calls, you know what. We'll take one before I break here. That's usually the routine. Morrison, long beach. Morris, you're on Clipper stock without the mass and how are you so? I'm doing fantastic? My brother seventh straight, Now, that's a big deal. I think the Grizzlies is I think they've got maybe four or five.
But the Clippers at one seventh Street, Yes, they are at the top of the West and you were talking about earlier about they're shooting. These guys are on fire, my brother from the outside, and you can see the difference between this year's team and last year's team. They've got more girth, right, they've got more girth to Defensively speaking, and these guys can shoot the three. If they don't have a back to back on this road trip, I don't see him losing. So good job for the Clippers, and
y'all have a good day. Thank you Simch. Defensively speaking, thank you Morris. The Clippers have a lot of versatility with their length, with their shooting, they can be a matchup problem for anyone. And to find a way to pull out this win when they weren't playing grade, no Marcus Morris, no Pat Bev in the second half. A little bit of a gritty win, granted against a team that's likely not going to make the playoffs in the OKAC Thunder, but it's just tough to be the team two games in
a row. These new mini series that we're seeing where you play a team in back to back or in successful succession, even though they'd have a day off on Saturday. You knew the Okay se Thunder. We're going to play beat, but Clippers hold on and they are at thirteen four on the season. Coming up next again, Robert Flom, big shot Bob plum as I like to call him. We'll join me here on Clippers Stock. We'll get back to more phone calls. Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy.
This is Clipper Stock here on AM five seventy LA Sports. This is La Clippers Basketball co Why Leonard is a destroyer of walls right now on the official home of your La Clippers. And he destroyed the ram with that two handed dunk with less than a minute left, and the Clippers would hold on to win one o eight to one hundred over the ok See Thunder. Welcome back into Clipper Stock. I'm at ams on into eight six six nine eight
seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy. We will get back to your phone calls coming up here, Chuck, Jeff Mitch hold on. But first I want to get to my friend Robert Flom, formerly of Clips Nation, but now the managing editor at two three Hoops. You follow him on Twitter at rich Homie Flam. It's big shot Bob Flam back here on Clippers Talk, Robert, thanks for doing this. Let's get into it. How would you categorize a win like this where they were up
by seventeen with under four minutes left and really things got dicey. It was touch and go at the end there thanks to George Hill heading back to back to back threes. Yeah, it's ugly. It's really you know, it's kind of a cliche words for it, but it's the accurate one. It was a really ugly win. The Clippers did not play well really for most of it outside of the first quarter, and their performance in the first quarter
really won of the game. They were up seventeen after the first quarter, end of the game up eight, and really were outplayed by the Thunder for most of the game. But Kawhi Leonard was just good enough to carry them to victory. He made every little play that mattered, whether it be an offensive rebound, beautiful passes, dominant in the mid range, just an MVP caliber performance from Kawhi Leonard and throut the team was able to fill in here
there. You know, a Visa Zubos was really good. Sir Jebaca played well, so it wasn't a bad effort. You know. It was just a night where the shots were not falling for the Clippers, but still they were. They were very fortunate to get away with the wind because they were sloppy at times and just ice cold from three. You mentioned Kawhi Leonard. They're leading them in scoring again with thirty four points on just twenty four shots,
hits four three pointers. But over his last five games he's averaging eleven points in the third quarter alone. Does it look like at all to you that Kawuhi has that sense of urgency of closing things out, but especially coming out of the half and making sure they're playing their best basketball, or he just has to take over sometimes when they're not. Yeah, I think it's
a mix of both. I think you know, early in the season the Clippers struggled to close out halves and quarters, which is very critical to do. It gives you momentum going to the next period. And I think Kawhi is really made the mark to close out quarters. He's been playing full quarters. He played the entire first. I think he played just about the entire third as well, and it's just really dominated in key stretches. You know,
he's been looking for a shot more aggressively. He came out absolutely firing. I think he took five threes in the first quarter. He finished with nine, three attempts, and in the third. Yeah, he's just going to work. Today was a really off game for Paul George Lou Williams. Ruknard struggled as well, so really a lot of the ball handling and playmaking duties fell on Kwi Leonard. He rose to the challenge. He's just been great, as he said, the past few games in particular, just absolutely
rising. It's probably the top of the MVP level standings along with Jill l Embiide and Nicola Yo Kitchen a couple others. But he's been great. Gan the third quarter, it's just it looks like the basket must just feel as wide as an ocean, is absolutely dropping them in. His SHOT's been wet. He also had eight assists. He led them in assists while getting those thirty four points off the bench of bet to Zoobots led the Clippers with eleven
rebounds. Today had ten and eleven his last three games, he's really been looking more in rhythm and more like himself. Is he someone that could maybe average a double double off the bench this year? It will be tough, I think, just because he got off to that slow start, and because you know, there will be games where Surgebaca plays a bit more. But
I think he could come close. He's not been too far away from averaging a double double the past a couple of years, and I think if he continues playing like this, I think Tylo has shown that you will give Zoo a lot of minutes. He played him the entire fourth quarter and you know, the last few minutes of the third, which is something Dalk Rivers basically never did. And if he keeps getting you know, twenty four minutes, I think he could absolutely average, you know, just about a double double.
He's a great rebounder. Again, he was slow, bitter, particularly to start the season, but has really turned it on of late and is finishing just absolutely everything inside, just dunking just about everything inside. And again to start, he's bobbling a lot. He was going up soft though. I'm not sure what teams for him, if there's just confidence, if those
teammates being encouraging or the coaching staff or whatever. But he looks like the Zoo box that they had all last season and became such a fan favorite. He's been great, even hit a jump shot, had the nice assist to Kawhi Leonard for the dunk at the end of the first quarter. Point Zoo the Zoo God was out there. Now we don't know the status yet of Patrick Beverly, who didn't play in the second half with a sore right knee. But if he is out for any extended period of time, who do
you think soaks up those minutes. I think it's gonna be Reggie Jackson. Tylu like Zock Rivers and like a lot of endgay coaches you know, to be fair, does not like adjusting the rotations as much. So frequently rather than bringing in and promoting a second unit guard, they will go to a third string guard, and right now that is Reggie Jackson. So rather than playing Luconnard Lou Williams in the first unit and kind of disrupting the bench unit,
I think Reggie Jackson will get the start. He started the third quarter and this one with Beverly out, and he played well. I get up to get a really bad turnover in the fourth quarter. In his defense is obviously a very big drop off from Beverly, but he can hit threes, and when he plays within himself, as he has for a lot of the teams, he's an effective offensive player. So I think playing him alongside Paul
George and Kawhi Leonard will really help with that. If he's playing mostly off the ball, spotting up for three, just handling the ball a little bit to take the pressure off them, that's where he's at his best. So I think he's actually a better fit with the starters then with the bench, And if he has to fill in for a few games, I think the Clippers will be fine. Of course, they will desperately miss Patrick Beverly's rebounding,
his defense, just to steady hand the lack of turnovers. He played really well in the first half before having the league, and he's been a really good off season, so they would miss him. But I think Jackson would start, and I think he's fully capable of starting on a short term
basis. Robert, one of the biggest differences coming into the season was just having that brand new coaching staff with Tehron Lou now being promoted to head coach, and we saw in the In Pursuit episode two that was highlighted he was as well as the rest of the coaching staff. But what have you seen has been the biggest difference from this Clippers team today from what we saw last year with this group. I think there are a couple of things. I
think the rotations and experimentation are one. I think Tylou has already shifted lineups a lot. Doc Rivers would find lineups that he liked and just run with them. You know, he loved all bench shoots and all starting this Tyler has been much more comfortable shifting guys in and out, I know, playing Luke early with the starters and then taking back out so as to not playing with Lou Williams and minimize the defensive shortcomings, and just in general being a
little bit more creative than Doc was, I think. But really I think it's the fault. Was that right, It's just the fact that this team is willing to make the extra pass so frequently. You know, you have people League observers just on Twitter or NBA writers meet people, you know, talking about the Clippers ball movement, and that is not something you saw last year or really even in previous years. The balls were nipping around. Even today in a game where they were ice cold. They had twenty six or
sixth just ten turnovers and we're making the extra pass a lot. They were just missing, you know, they get distressed, especially in that second quarter where Lou Williams and Patrick Patterson at when oh of nine and oh seven from three, they were all good books. They're all wide open off off ethan ball movement, so that's really the biggest difference. They're just moving the ball a lot, I think Pat, you know, Nick mccum and Luke Canard
have been used there. There are guys who love to make the extra path, sometimes even passing up open looks. But that's I think that has to be the biggest difference. They just look like a different team on offense. He is Robert Flam followed him on Twitter at rich Homie Flam. He is the managing editor at two one three Hoops. Robert, thanks for doing this. We'll talk to you next time there's an early game on the weekend. My friend, he sounds gonna think there's always coming up next. We'll get
back to your phone calls Chuck, Jeff Mitch. We'll get to you, I promised, and we'll hear from the head coach Stronlou post game after the Clippers win their seventh straight at one O eight to one hundred over the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is Clippers stock. I'm at a Moslin and you're listening to AM five to seventy LA Sports Stagger Paul George. This is the official home of your LA Clippers. Don't miss a moment of Clippers basketball all season
long. Kawhi Leonard had thirty four, Serge Ibaka had seventeen, Reggie Jackson gave the Clippers twenty really good minutes, had fourteen points, had ten of those on the third quarter, four more and the fourth, and the Clippers hold on to win one O eight to one hundred. I mentioned Sergebaka. There was seventeen points. Second straight game where he's had seventeen points. He also went seven of eight, just like he did Friday night. He likes
playing his former team in the UKC Thunder. Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number, and I have confirmed the standings have been updated. The Clippers are back atop the Western Conference, Utah Jazz would be the only team with a longer winning streak than the Clippers, who have those at seven. Utahs is at eight. Normally they start off the season slow, so this is a little bit scary. Chuck in Ontario, check,
you're on Clippers stock without him? Also, Hey, could you hear me at him? I'm driving right now. I got you, Chuck. You sound good? Oh great? Yeah. I just wanted to ask you about that last guest you had. I couldn't catch his name, but he pretty much summed up everything I was wanting to talk about. But I just want to get your assessment on two things. Number one, what do you
think about how low is being used right now? I know he's not getting a lot of minutes, but I kind of see ty lose strategy in that. And then number two, what do you what team on this next road trip? If you think's gonna give the Clippers the most competition? If you will, Chuck, I got you. Thank you for the phone call. Yeah. Lou Williams has been more of a facilitator. He struggled from the floor tonight, one of nine only had one assist after having eight of them
Friday night. But he's gonna get less shots up. I don't expect him to score eighteen points per game like he has the last couple of years. Because now Marcus Morris, a former starters coming off the bench of Vita Zoobots, a former starters coming off the bench, and because Luke Kennard is there and they brought him in for a reason, and hopefully he continues to get more and more aggressive. But he just took five shots in twenty four minutes,
not enough. Did have four assists though, was a plus six out there, actually led the bench in the plus minus category. But Luke Kennard is someone who I would expect to be scoring fifteen or so a game. And again it's going to be difficult because well there's an embarrassment of Rich's off the bench when you have former starters who can now be part of the leaders on this bench crew. So Lou Williams, my hope is this saves his legs. He won't have to play as much. He's thirty four years of
age now, so he only plays fourteen minutes tonight. But you want the big shots from the underground goat coming later in the year, and when they get to the playoffs. As for the Clippers upcoming six game road trip, well, it starts Tuesday. They're in Atlanta, taken on Trey Trey Trey Young, who's been on fire recently, and the Atlanta Hawks, who now have Danilo Gallinari. They've revamped things about Danovitch got hurt, unfortunately, but
John Collins is there. Clint Capella has been a monster his last five games. He had a triple double I think with getting ten blocks the other night Friday night. That's insane. That's Hikim Elijahwan type stuff. David Robinson type stuffs. The Clippers also are going to be taken on the Miami Heat after that, the Orlando Magic, the New York Knicks, and the Brooklyn Nets
a week from this Tuesday. I'm gonna say that's gonna be the toughest game on this six game road trip because Brooklyn by then, hopefully the Big Three is playing, but they may start to gain some momentum and some chemistry. They've only won one game with the Big Three so far, they've only played two so far, but they are I said this before the season started, before they traded for James Harden, to me it's the Lakers, the Clippers
and the Brooklyn Nets, and then they bring in James. They lose Death. They lost some defense with Jared Allen going to the Cleveland Cavaliers who beat the Brooklyn Nets twice. But they're gonna get that thing rolling offensively. They're special. They could be the best offense we've seen since Kadi left the Golden State Warriors a couple of seasons ago. Now, Mitch in New Jersey, you're on Clippers stock without them, and how are you, hey, Adam?
How you doing? Thanks for taking my core? What's that? I wish they were televise more of the Cup of Games. You know, they're people, you know. I like the clip is and I'm glad we will be playing the Knicks in the net, so I at least they get to see you. I don't know if that game we broadcasting, but you're out there, you're in Jersey. You're gonna see that. Yeah, I'll get the net. I'll get the nets and the Knicks. At least you get to see I agree here. I think we have better at Death than last
year. I'm still steaming u Mantraz, but I like Abaca and like you said, Zuback has come along. Uh just great, just fine, and I and your nest. They have some team to have besides those big three. Joe Harris an old guy, DeAndre Jordan. I wish he had kept him. I'll take a bots over DeAndre Jordan at this point. Oh yeah, he's got a little age and m one more thing. You think the clip is demorapical for a big guy. What about n a backup, uh
quarterback point guard? I'm thinking about DeAngelo Anthony Melton. I know the USC guy. I love seeing get more playing time with us. So I know we think we well, right, I think we can. I think we've got to challenge is that to come up with the Lakers in next I appreciate the phone call, Mitch. I think, well, at first we thought that Clippers and Lakers were really separating themselves in the Western Conference. I just
talked about how good Utah has been playing. And as for getting a more traditional point guard, it's been seemingly the running narrative here on Clippers talk from callers to start off this year. But with the way they're passing the basketball right now, it's not much of a concern. Can they keep this going we'll see Paul George is only going to get better as a playmaker. Kawhi Leonard was already a really good playmaker. Last season, he showed his growth
in that area and he's leading them in assists. They do it by committee, and with how unselfish this team is with sharing the basketball, they're fun to watch. Fred Rogan the other day said they're not as exciting as they were last year, while also saying he hadn't watched the game, but I love your Fred. The point is this team plays much differently than they did
last year. And while there isn't the same buzz because we've seen Kawhi with Paul George, the two on three connections in their second season, now, they don't play the same way offensively. Toronto Lewis put his mark, has put his stamp on this team with the way they passed the basketball. There was a play early in the first half where Kawhi Leonard attacked, then he
kicked it out to Nicholas Batum who had a decent look. Then he moved it over to PG thirteen for an even better look who would hit the three pointer. And we've seen this time and time again with this Clippers team this season where they just pass up good shots for great shots. So that's the growth of this offense. Who happens to be the best offense in the NBA. They happen to be the best offense in the NBA this season already.
Defensively, they can get better. They were sixteen coming into this game, but that's slightly skewed because of their fifty one point loss to the Dallas Mavericks. And when we've only played sixteen games so far, now seventeen, that's gonna hurt you. Over the last five games though, now the Clippers have been the third best offense in the NBA, so they have been getting better there too. But a big six game road trip coming up. We'll talk
more about that. You'll also hear from Toronto, lou that's next. You're listening to Clipper Stock. I'm Adam Oslin and this is AM five to seventy LA Sports. You know, we've given MVPG Paul George a lot of love this season, deservedly, so he's put himself in the conversation for most valuable Player. Now Kawhi Leonard last week has put himself there too. He finished he led the Clippers once again with thirty four points on fourteen of twenty four
from the field and had eight assists. That's what's really different when you're superstars. Are the guys leading you and assists and are being those all around players to set the table while still getting their points out there. It's impressive and people are going to be put on notice nationally with Kawhi Leonard and how he's evolved with his game and how dynamic he's become. Clippers win one O eight to one hundred over the OKAC Thunder. Jeff and Tarzana, you're on Clippers
Talk without of maslin Hi. Jeff, Hey, Adam, how are you doing? Let me ask you a question, Adam, and I want you to give me an honest answer. Oh boy, if a team is not shooting very well from three point three point range and they have the advantage of a point in the pain, whatn't you think they would have more points in the pain or try harder to get more points in the paint with the size
avantage, and also like they're passing in the key. Yeah, it's an interesting point because three of their last four games now, Jeff, and three of their last four they had scored over fifty points in the Pain. They get just forty two in this game, and they had twenty of those in the first quarter. So their offense just really stalled out in the last three quarters and they took forty six three pointers. They eventually normally, though,
Jeff, we've seen this before two. The other side of that argument is they could start cold from three and catch fire at any time. They're the best three points shooting team we've seen that, so it's hard to criticize them too much when they are the best offense in the league right now. But sure against a team like the OKC Thunder who lack bigs now without Steven Adams, they could have gone into a Baca and zobots even more in the second
half. Maybe that's what I was thinking. If you're scoring, if you have twenty points in the first quarter at that rate, you have eighty points points in the pain That should win you a couple of games. The other thing, Adam is you know, on the tough series that are coming up on the road, I don't know how tough it's going to be. If Miami doesn't have Jimmy Butler. They're a very good team. Bammobile went off yesterday when he had forty one points. Yeah, he's getting better. He's
showing that outside shot even more now. He's really good. But it's not going to take really that much to beat the Nets. All you got to do is score one hundred and forty points. Well, that's it. They played no defense at all. The problem is they don't. They don't at the moment. But it's only been a couple of games, and they know that, and they're self aware, and they've talked about how they have to get better on that end and they will. Well, I think they have
an excellent coach. He like Steve Nash. And like Steve Nash, you know, he got knocked all through his career for not playing defense, but you look at a lot of the games that he had that he was double doubles or triple doubles. He had a lot of steals and games and stuff. Yeah, I appreciate the phone call there was Jeff and Tarzana. That Brooklyn Nets game is February second, But let's not get ahead of oursel else. The Clippers next game is coming up on Tuesday in Atlanta. That's game
one of this six game road trip. Before we leave you here today, though I do want to get this in because I cheased it out. Here was toe ron Lew post game after the Clippers win one zero, eight to one hundred over the Thunder. Its obviously not an easy game today. What did you make of just the wait? First of all, Reggie Jackson came in the second half replacing Pat, and how you guys grinded it out?
Yeah? I thought Reggie was great, you know, just like Pat, Pat just being a professional and you know, staying ready and we came in and think he had ten points in that third quarter, which was huge for us. So hats off to Reggie for that. I thought our biggs were phenomenal about Surgeon Zoo. You know, we're really good. Especially on the nine to nine. We couldn't make shots. You know, we still had
twenty six assists, but you know, we couldn't make shots. We had a lot of open shots that we didn't make, and like, how would just stay with our defense, kept grounding, getting stops and only having the same time was a night as well, so on the night were you not making shots? This was a good, you know, tough ground out way for us in that fourth quarter. There Paul was on the bench for the last night I think four thirty one. Was he was that related to him
being no messing. No, he has some tightness going into the game on tonight, so he you know, he got to lose and he played, but he has some tightness going into the game. And then at last four and a half five minutes he just kind of saying, you know, he felt tight. He tightened up again, so we just got him out to be cautious. Thank you, thank he low You can go ahead, hey, ty, congratulating to win a couple of things real quick. Uh can
you elaborate on the tightness that Paul was dealing with just as hamstring? Okay? And second, uh, Kawhi was great tonight. Not tonight, I mean so I'm still out, but he was great today, and he was really great two weeks ago in a similar spot in the matinee game where the rest of the team was relatively uneven, but especially in that third quarter two weeks ago, it was it was Kawhi kind of carrying a team. Today,
it was through different parts of the game. How how are you observing Kawai getting ready for these particular time games as you know now it's a seven game win streak, and he's played really well on both ends of this win
streak. Well, he's been he'd been a phenomenal force. And tonight, you know, we got to ride him, like you said, outside of our two big with Zoo and and in Surge, you know, Kawhi had it going, so we kind of, you know, we played through him a lot, especially in that second half, and he created points for himself and he created points for our team as well, So we had to arrive him pretty hard just to, you know, just so we can continue to keep the lead. And he had played through him a lot, so he
did a good job with that. There was Toronto lou post game after the Clippers make it seventh straight. They are thirteen and four, that's the best record in the league with the Lakers, but they beat the Lakers, they win the tiebreaker. They start a six game road trip Tuesday in the at l That should be fun. Trey Young is surging right now after a slow start to this season. Tip time is at four thirty, which means we
have your Clippers pregame show Clippers countdown starting at three thirty. Coming up next here on a five seventy l A Sports. It's the AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. How do I know that because I'm running it. Yeah. Before we get out of here, I do want to thank the Clippers organization, Noah Eagle, Brian Seaman, Ralph Lawler, also Jake Warner, our head engineer at Staples Center, and our technical
producer here. You fantastic Samsiah. Thank you, Sam great job as always. I know you've got a busy day too, outside of Los Angeles, outside of everywhere. We'll talk to you on Tuesday when the Clippers are in Atlanta. Taken and Trey Young and the Atlanta Hawks tip time four thirty. I'm at a Maslin and I'll have your Clippers countdown shows starting at three thirty
