Parents madness pure once again, He's Clippers Talk. I got calls on Clippers Talk, immediate reaction and analysis to today's game. That's what he's capable of, hosted by your pre and post game voice of the LA Clippers, Adam Osler. Well, the best team in cluch time all season long proved it again as the Phoenix Suns would hold off your Los Angeles Clippers with the final score of one h three to ninety six in Phoenix. Welcome into Clippers Talk.

I'm at a Moslin to eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number coming up. You'll hear from the head coach and the players after this one. You can also get to me at follow Adam A. The Clippers were down by as many as thirteen. They mounted a comeback. They had their opportunities, but they just weren't sound enough down the stretch in the final five minutes.

That is considered clutch time, last five minutes of a game within five points. That's how they categorize it. It used to just be a thing on eighty two games dot com kind of a pseudo hipster NBA website before advanced analytics became as prevalent as they have today, and as soon as they entered clutch time, it was ninety ninety and CP three. Once you know it, hits a three pointer just inside five minutes to give them a three point lead.

The Clippers did battle back many times and there were some big performances. Roco was outstanding in the fourth quarter. They only gave him one steal in the box score. He finished with three total, felt like he had three in the fourth quarter alone, at least, generated a few different turnovers and also had four points in the fourth quarter. Luke Kennard early on the fourth really made an impact with a couple of three pointers, but down the stretch,

Reggie Jackson just didn't look like himself. Now you live by the Reggie Jackson, you can die by the Reggie Jackson at times two and it's only fair. You gotta give him credit for the victories and the clutch shots, and he's made a lot of them. But he had a big turnover late. He missed two long three pointers. Late, Michael Bridges would hit one for the Phoenix Suns over the outstretched hand of Rocco. He was right there all over him. That made it a seven point lead with forty seconds left

and all but ended this one in Phoenix. Reggie was just a little bit out of source. And look, he played the entire fourth quarter and he was probably gassed. Second night of a back to back. Clippers just had to take down the Golden State Warriors last night. They don't get much tougher than this. She's played the Warriors and then the Phoenix Suns, the two top teams in the Western Conference, the top team in the league. On

the road at but they had two days of rest. You had none, and you gotta go to Phoenix. And I thought the Clippers played admirably. They played together. They just had a few stretches where they went cold. At the end of the second quarter, they went three and a half minutes without scoring. At the end of the third quarter, they went five minutes, or in the last five minutes of the third quarter, I should say, they only scored four points. They had a couple of those droughts that

would come back to haunt them. There still were some very good performances. I thought of beats the zoobots. Once again, he looked like a completely different player. Ever since he took on the challenge of guarding Luca Dontech. It looks like that confidence it's carried over for him. It seeped into the last two games now because he outplayed DeAndre Aden and it wasn't even close.

Big Zoo had twelve thirteen and five assists on five of nine shooting. DeAndre Ayden went six of sixteen from the field, still had twelve and twelve. But remember in that series last year, it wasn't just Kawhi Leonard who the Clippers were without, but Big Zoo two and they were a plus twenty five in his minutes during the Western Conference Finals before he went out with that knee injury, and he looked like the same guy tonight. A difference maker,

just didn't have enough of an impact. So many good performances, Marcus Morris hitting some unreal shots against his former team. My player to watch yesterday. It was Terrence Man not patting myself on the back at all. Marcus Morris though ten of seventeen, three of six from distance. He hit a ridiculous three in the face of Jay Crowder where it looked like he was going to be trapped in the corner and it was going to turn into a turnover.

Instead, he used his pivot foot to get out of it and just faded away and hit I mean, one of the highest degree of difficult shots I've seen all season long. But that's what he does. He's a tough shot maker and all of his it felt like there was a hand in his face and it didn't matter, and he would hit a big shot down the stretch, a three pointer with three minutes left, and it gave the Clippers a

chance, but CP three came through late. Michael Bridges had twelve points on the third quarter and then that three, the only one he made all night, with forty seconds left. Devin Booker also had ten of what would end up being his twenty six points in that third quarter the Clippers, when they went cold in that third, there were some guys for the Phoenix Suns that turned it on. And remember last night they held the Golden State orders was

just nineteen points in the third quarter. Well, tonight the Phoenix Suns had twenty eight and look they held him till one hundred and three points. That's great. That is below what I believe the worst offense in the league average this season. You hold Phoenix to one h three. You would have thought you have gotten to win. They held the Golden State Warriors to one oh

four last night. The defense was good enough offensively, it was just a couple of those lulls that happened that I think combined and compounded into a loss for the Clippers. Eventually they fall by seven in Phoenix. Let's go to Javier Lahabra Heights start things off tonight here on Clippers Stock. What's up, Javier? So I guess the Dallas game. I told you you gotta win Saturday against against the Mavericks and then split two games with either Golden State or

Phoenix. So they did that, so you know they had a good Uh, you know they're going to the break. You know, I'm proud of them. But that's a question here. Who told Richie Jackson to shoot twenty six times at him? Twenty six times? I mean, I thought I was seen alan everything out there. He's a double edged sword in that way, that confidence, that unwavering confidence. How many times has he come through

through for them late in games? He beat the Lakers, he beat Orlando, he had seven straight points and that win against Dallas late you kind of have to trust him with those shots. So it's not always going to work out. But Reggie Jackson has been one of their go two guys late. No, yeah, yeah, that's true. I mean, I'm just saying if he had would have had a decent game, just a decent game, not a good game. And if Man, I know, Man had a

good game yesterday, score more than what he had two points. Believe me, the Clippers wouldn't win today. If Jackson would have had a decent game, Man would have scored maybe eight ten points, the Clippers wouldn't win today game. Well, you know what it's it's just you know, they you know, they did play well and going to the break, you know,

fl fling good. So I'm you know, I'm proud of them. I'm just hoping that real quick, all indes with this, that Paula, George and Kawhid and Inner sees this and and hope he could come back days yer, because man, these steppers are playing with you know, with all their hard and they're playing hard. Hopefully they could come back dasier and helps the team because I know that they do come back, don't win it all. I mean, I'm just hoping to come this year and they don't. You

know, if it doesn't happen, then for sure next year. But but you know it was. You know, I'm proud of them, so thank you, Adam la Vier. I'm right there with you. It's hard not to be proud of this team. Playing Phoenix this tough when they're missing Kauai, Paul, George, Norman Pale also. But I said going into that second half, and Reggie Jackson got to lay up at the end of the first half, and I wondered if he could start to get it going.

He did have six points on the third quarter, But I said, two of these four guys have to have big second halfs Reggie, Luke, Kennard, Terrence Man and a mere coffee. And you could say Luke with those eight points in the fourth quarter, pretty meaningful ones he stepped up. There was one guy, but they just didn't get enough down the stretch. And Reggie had just a really tough shooting night, as you mentioned, seven of twenty six from the field, oh of eight from distance and a couple of

miss threes late. Clippers fall late in Phoenix one O three to ninety six coming up. We'll get back to your phone calls. Eight six six ninety seven, two seventy Lenny Jose, mystery caller screaming you during the break. Clippers coming back home to take on the Houston Rockets Thursday night final game before the All Star Break. More on that. Oh, and we have an update on Paul George. We have the audio from Chris Haynes and his reporting

on TNT during this ball game. Clippers losing Phoenix. You're listening to Clippers stock here on Amp five seventy LS fours tim a Hawks Slam. You're listening to Los Angeles Clippers basketball goes all the way the ram Us sky scraping jem. This is the official ho of your LA Clippers. Shoot baby, shoot, thank you, No, that's you shoot the bull name one I wanna know? Yeah, Clippers losing Phoenix one oh three to ninety six. This

is Clipper Stock. I'm at a Moslin eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number coming up. You're gonna hear that Chris Haynes audio reporting on Paul George. Plus you'll hear from the head coach toron lou But let's go to Greg in Newport, Greg, what's up? You're on Clipper stock without Muslin? How are you? But well, what's up? Salty A? What's happening? Man Saltier present? Hey Adam, I just want to say, Man,

I'm watching the game tonight. I'm hey, Look, we lost the game, but hello a f But man, I mean, you know you talk about Phoenix's the best team in the West this year, them in Golden State, then we had them back to back. Man, I mean, we'd beat Golden State last night. I don't think too many people was anticipated the Clippers winning that game last night. We did, and then we went in

there tonight. It could have been real easy to get Blue out. But I mean the Clippers gave a hell of an effort and really could have won that game. Like you said, Reggie had a bad game to night.

A couple of those turnovers in the last couple of minutes of the game I think really cost us the game, because you know, when Phoenix went up on us, what was at eighty one, the sixty eight or something like that, and then we came back on him and tied it up at eighty eight, I really started feeling like we were gonna win that game to night Man. But my man, Reggie had a bad game down the stretch, and I think that kind of cost us the game to night Man. That's

pretty much all I want to say, Adam Noah. I appreciate the phone call. Greg. Yeah, if your stars and Reggie is one of the clip is right now, especially Layton games. I see it all the time. But he shows up like a superstar typically late in games. Didn't happen tonight. Maybe he was due, but he's been so reliable for them in big moments. So I say, you live by the Reggie, you die by the Reggie. Sometimes that's just the way it works. But how many

big threes has he hit? How many big shots has he hit? Just look back to that last Lakers game, how he burned them late with that crazy spinning layup. I have full faith in Reggie Jackson Layton games. Now, he could have been gassed back to back, played the entire fourth quarter, and when you're missing that many shots, you start to wonder if a guy just doesn't have his legs. But the Clippers, they fought, they

had their opportunities and it was a chippy contest. He saw Terrence Man gets smacked in the U nowhere by Devin Booker in the first half and then at the end of the game CP three And we used to look the other way when he was a Clipper doing this stuff, but he smacked Roco through an elbow. I think it was near Terrence Man as well. But uh, these two teams, they don't like each other, just like the Clippers and Dallas Mavericks, familiarity breeds contempt. They know each other well. Just be

great to see another Western Conference showdown with everybody healthy on both sides. Lenny in Inglewood, Lenny, what's up? Stocks? So first of all, like they say, the good the bad Man Roco game is local. I mean this four level both sides, you know, both sides of the ball, man. I mean I got like, you know, my heart's put beaten because you know, he's taking some attention away from Nick, my boy Nick. But Nick latill istaling there too. But Reggie looked like he was

trying to build some housings for habitasts, for humanity, audit man. He was throwing up tonight. He was he was man, he was off man, and I love that, you gotta love it. But yeah, Ali, that was a message Man. But you know, Terence Man, I just you know when I called, I think I called. Last time I talked to you, you were talking about you. Compare a Terrence Man to a young Norland Powell, and uh, I see what you're talking about now, Because but I think once again, unless he's pushed, you know,

no, because his minutes were cutting too. I think lived by Norman Powell, and Norman Powell comes with such an arsenal that you just just just no question. You gotta get gotta get him his minute and a shot. I think Terrence Man saw that. Because Terrence Man, if you look at his career and never really came up as a score. In high school, he was known as a really good defender. He was an actor score and he was full of state silent defender. Coach Luke calls him that multi purpose,

utility type of player. He can do a little bit of everything. But on nights like he had the last two games against Luca and then against Golden State last night where he tied his regular season career high, you know there's more there. He's only he just turned twenty five. Yeah, yeah, I agree. It's interesting though, man, because I was driving by the home into it Stadium in bil right now, and I know die hard Laker fans man for the first time, they're like literally tipping their hat to us,

Like, man, y'all, just don't stop. I said, I've been telling you this since for the last five six years. They've they've been building on this for a minute now. So it's gonna be interesting, man, because I think the front office is gonna have to do some things. And we all know what the end game is because we just got so much death, man, and we're gonna have to field that. We're gonna have to go out and get the best nine or ten and let Tyler do it.

Do a stink, Lenny. I appreciate the phone call short on time. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cut you off there. Eight six nine eight seven two five seventy. We'll take a quick break. Yeah, the depth's amazing. It's been shining for them to be in this game after what they did against Golden State last night, to fly in, get in at two am and take on the best team in the league and give them all they could handle. The guys that they're missing speaks volumes. What are

those guys they're missing is Paul George. You'll hear the report from Chris Haynes coming up on that right elbow. His Clippers lose one O three to ninety six and Phoenix to the Suns. And listen to clip stock. You're only m five to seventy l A s fourts. He's trying to be my sheet dealt this souse. She been don't win at donnay sign no us be trying to be lying. I've been trying to be signed, trying to be a millionaire. Hi used to my last time my Hawks slam. You're listening to

Los Angeles Clippers basketball. He goes all the way to the ram Us sky scraping jams. This is the official home of your LA Clippers started rocking to sleep all drive spells in Phoenix from the Clippers that would do them in. They lose by seven to the Suns, one O three to ninety six. Welcome back into Clipper stock. I'm at a Moslin eight six six ninety eight seven two five seventy eight six six ninety seven two five seventy or get to me at follow Adam A. Let's get the Jose south Gate. Let's say

what's up? Are you not into day Donald, Are you sorry? Yeah, there you go, baby man. Look after back to back this this this felt like a Paul Walker lot because I was like, man, we almost had you lose by one. Yeah, you lose by one, you lose by seran atom. But look, I thought it was like on Monica Fast and Curious. Yeah, if you know, you know, No, I got you at him, but no, it's I think you know, Tyler touches the team. Hey, this is what we're hitting the playoffs with.

That's that's why we had so much energy yesterday and still have so much energy left over. We're trying to send ripples to the NBA right now. We played the top two teams in the NBA at him, and you see how it went. You know, we laid Bacca though, So I think that's why Zooba he has a chest out. I'm I'm heading up north three now to go finish. I'm in Gilroy. So thank you. I heart radio, thank you, a w A, thank you, no ego, you know, thank you roll Fler and one more thing he had him before

I go, because I got the family in the car for three. Yes, Oh Stardom Young, I love it. Jose, thank you for the phone call, Clippers fall by seven to the Phoenix Suns, but considering the rough road they've been on and how many elite teams they've been playing, getting that last game in Dallas, getting the game last night against the Golden State Warriors, and now they got to find a way to take down a struggling,

to say the least, Houston Rockets team. Thursday, back home, and you're feeling decent about yourself going into the All Star Break, and maybe even more than decent depending on the news with Paul George speaking of Let's hear from Chris Haynes on the NBA on T and T earlier tonight talking about the status of PG thirteen. For more news on the Clippers. They're Roopers.

Paul George, who has been silent for almost two months, there's something has come on and there's might help foll it's true and if all is clean, source has taught me to go through a positivity a two weeks black up period. If there are no subacts, George could return as pillious as the second week bus. For more news on the Coopers. Okay, we got it. It was somewhat positive news there. You could say, I don't know exactly how much of that was new news, because we had already heard he

was getting mmrr and that right elbow on February twenty fourth. But the second part of that where if he's cleared, he'd have two weeks to ramp up and could return by the second week of March. That would be a site for sore eyes for Clipper Nation to get Paul George back. They have missed him desperately, obviously. No Kawhi Leonard all season long, and now they lose Norman Powell after three games, just and unbelievable run. A bad luck

for the Clippers with these injuries right now. But you can't tell a team that it's out there on the court fighting. They always are in next man up mode. It was built last year. It was built years before when they traded Tobias Harris and everybody thought they were trying to tank, and the guys on the court said, nah, we're still gonna make the playoffs and take the Golden State Warriors to six games and have a thirty one point comeback.

All right, before we break, here will pause ten seconds for station identification on the Los Angeles Clippers radio network. This is LA Clippers basketball A five seventy KLAC Los Angeles seven KYSR HD to Los Angeles and iHeart Radio station. We'll take a quick time out, still looking for post game audio from coach lou after the Clippers fall late in Phoenix one O three to ninety six. As you're listening to the Clipper stock here on a M five seventy LS

fours time Ahawks Slam, you're listening to Los Angeles Clippers basketball. He goes all the the ram a sky scraping jem. This is the official home of your LA Clippers. Clippers trailed by as many as thirteen. They have the most comebacks when trailing by thirteen or more in the NBA this season. But this comeback came up short in Phoenix as they lose by seven the CP three Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. Michael Bridges tonight throw his name in there.

That twelve point third quarter was huge. That three pointer with forty seconds left was the dagger. Clippers end up losing by a final score of one h three to ninety six. We've talked about how difficult the schedule has been the whole season long. Nobody's had a higher concentration of games within a shorter

period of time than the Clippers. But this is something. So tonight was their sixtieth game of the season, so twenty two to go, they'll play sixty one before the All Star Break, tying the record of most games played by a team before the All Star Game since the fifty fifty one Try City Blackhawks in the seventeen eighteen, twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen Timberwolves. So yeah,

it's been tough five, five and sevens for the Clippers. Aside from the fact of all the guys they're missing right now, the schedule just has not let up. But I do have some good news because after tonight things are going to get a little bit easier for them schedule wise. I saw this, but they're gonna have let's see here, I think the twenty first toughest schedule. Yes, after tonight's game, they have just the twenty first toughest schedule left in the league. So they have a chance to make a

push at the end of the season with twenty two games remaining. It starts though Thursday night. You can't have one foot out the door. Get seen year iteis right before the All star break and overlook the Houston Rockets. That just can't happen. That's a game back in downtown Los Angeles. Houston's at the bottom of the Western Conference. They got a bunch of young guys.

They're trying to figure it out. If the Clippers play like they have the last two games, where they've looked more like themselves with the drive, kick swing, the philosophies we've talked about, get into the paint, touched the paint, getting the paint, or die trying fifty cent hanging upside down style. If they play like this, they'll be in good shape Thursday night. But we have seen them have some letdowns against inferior competition. And when you're

missing this many guys, you can't afford to overlook anyone. And that's the position the Clippers are in right now. They just have to figure it out and find a way to win Thursday night. As I'm still trying to find coach lou postgame, but to no avail. The game was on TNC, and I don't think Shaq t Mac or d Wade or gonna have that for me. Clippers lose one h three to ninety six in Phoenix to the Suns. As I mentioned, next game coming up Thursday night, back in downtown

Los Angeles. Tip time at seven thirty against the Houston Rockets. We'll have your pregame shows starting at six thirty before we get out of here. I do want to thank the Clippers organization, Noah Eagle, Brian Seamen, we did text me earlier. I'll keep this one to myself, Ralph Lawler, big brother, Jake Warner, our head engineer at Crypto dot Com arena, and our great producer here in Burbank, Katie Newton, who, when I quote said I'm the worst and how can I not double down and agree with

that? Until Thursday with the Clippers back home taking on the Houston Rockets, final game before the All Star Break. Tip time at seven thirty. Clippers countdown, six thirty. I'm in a Moslin. Let's talk ta. This has been Clippers talk. They accepted the challenge, your first post game opportunity to talk LA Clippers without a Mossley. It's what we've always seen from him to the next game for all the action on the official home of your LA

Clippers. And I just absolutely loved listen to the games on the radios out goodbye and check out the Clippers Talk podcast on the iHeart Radio app
