The game is over. Paul George money in the pain, but the postgame reaction has just begot Kawhi Leonard is so smooth in the mid range. This is Clippers locker Room, a recap of today's game and a look ahead, your hope for LA Clippers basketball. And now your host, You sir, are a bad man, Adam Ousley. Clippers dropped a seven and six on the season as they lose by fifteen to the Brooklyn Nets. Welcome into your postgame show. This is well coming up off Clippers stock for you. This
is your network post game show. We'll have second half highlights, your postgame box scoring. You'll hear from coach Lou and the players after this one. But first, back to downtown Los Angeles and back to her voice of the Clippers well combining third quarter and fourth quarter droughts in the second half, Noah Eagle, the Clippers almost went eleven minutes without a field goal. Tough to beat the Brooklyn team doing that. Yeah, and look they were still right
there in it. That's the craziest part and a credit to their defense for the way they played for the majority of this game. But looks at Curry got hot and if Seth Curry gets hot, there's only so much you can do. Because he was hitting some contested shots by the time, they let him get into some rhythm, and I think that that's really what sealed this
game. Durant was great through the first three but he only scored two points in the fourth quarter because he didn't have to, because Seth had fourteen fourth quarter points in twenty two. Overall, went four of eight from three, but all four of them coming in the fourth. You know, it was just that type of game to the Clippers, and I don't think they should
feel all that bad about the way they played. For the most part, it was just the finish and to your point, the Wolls and that's where you got to be aggressive and try to get yourself back to the free throw line because they were doing such a great job of it and it was allowing them to take breath, set their defense to everything else. As a result, they fall behind and they just it's an insurmountable lead when it was all
said and done. Late in that fourth quarter, they just could not find that rhythm that they needed to yew Paul George has his first bad game in a couple of weeks. Now what the Clippers had. Hey, it wasn't five of six coming into this game PG thirteen, just five of twenty one from the field. On a positive side, though, it beats the Zubots was sixteen in fifteen. Big Zoo did dominate a smaller Brooklyn Nets team out
there. Yeah, his second fifteen fifteen game of the season. That's more than he had all of last year because he had zero of them last year. And that should just tell you the continued improvement of Aviza zu Bots. He's getting more minutes, but he only played twenty eight today and still had that type of production. Now, he did get in foul trouble four or six on the free throw line six of eight. Overall, he and Claxton
were battling. Both had monster double doubles. But I thought Zubots was great and has been all season. And when they're getting this level of production out of him, you could tell they were trying to feature him. It was easier said than done. Brooklyn was doing a good job of swarming once they got the ball to him. But overall, this is a very stellar performance
from Zubots. Another step in that development, and we'll see if they can use whatever momentum he has into a game against Houston where Shane Goon was great in that matchup last time, but man Zubots always seems to have great games against the Rockets. Yeah, Clippers doing a little Texas two step back to back Monday and Tuesday's starting in Houston Monday night than in Dallas. Tuesday night tip off in Houston will be at five. We'll have Clippers countdown for you

Clippers ear must for the kids. They shoot forty percent from the field, go eleven of thirty two from the outside, and started the fourth quarter one of seven from three while well the other Curry seth Curry was going off. He had all four of his three pointers in the fourth quarter. He finished with twenty two points. Clippers high was seventeen from Paul George on five of twenty one shooting. All good things must come to an end. The Western
Conference player of the Week last week. It was his first time that he had struggled really in his last seven games now, but it finally happened.
He went one of six from the outside and the Clippers went ice cold into the third quarter for about six and a half minutes and then midway through the fourth for about four and a half minutes, where in neither of those time periods did they make a field goal, and they fall to Kevin Durant, who had twenty seven on ten of sixteen shooting in the Brooklyn nets one ten to ninety five coming up while a postgame audio from Coach Low and the players.

Coming up here on the show, we're looking for post game audio from coach lou and the players. And what was a frustrating loss similar to what we saw in their last loss to the Utah Jazz, where the Clippers just went ice cold near the end of the game. And it wasn't even just the fourth quarter where they
went into a shooting slump. It started into the third where they went almost six and a half minutes without a made field goal until that Norman Powell dunk with point five seconds left to end the period. Clippers offense just stalling out, and then in the fourth to start things off, they were one of seven from three. And meanwhile Seth Curry, who started the game Oha four from the outside, goes four of four from three in the fourth quarter and
just buried the Clippers with those three pointers. Clippers lose by fifteen and what was a much closer game, a back and fourth, third quarter, back and fourth, early fourth quarter. John Wall scored or generated eleven straight at one point in the fourth quarter for the Clippers, finished with fourteen, but Paul George he was due for a bad game. Five at twenty one seventeen points. Just struggled after in his last six averaging over thirty on fifty five
percent shooting from the field and forty three percent shooting from the outside. But the outside shooting was what failed the Clippers again on the season, they have not shot the basketball very well. Sure they've been better the last couple of weeks, and their offense has been much better overall, but they just petered
out and limped across the finish line late. They got two of eight total in the fourth quarter, but really one of those was during inconsequential or extended guards rich time, how every want to phrase it, It wasn't that meaningful of the three pointer made by Norman Powell with two minutes left after the Clippers were already down by twelve, and while they were missing, the nets were
hidden. Even with Kevin Durant just getting two of his twenty seven points in the fourth doesn't matter when Seth Curry has just absolutely torching the net and the Clippers didn't have an answer on the other end, and maybe settled for too many three pointers in what was a game that was there for the taking. Hence the frustration Clippers had opportunities. They were right there. They weren't playing well, and they had it to within four heading into the fourth quarter.
They weren't playing well and had it to within four at the half, but they couldn't get over the hump, and offensively they never really found a rhythm and they ended up shooting forty percent from the field, eleven of thirty two from the outside. But again, they were shooting it much better until that fourth quarter just went ice cold. Clippers did okay on the boards, forty six to forty one. They were plus five there a Vizza Zubots was dominant.
He was my player to watch for a reason. Brooklyn likes to go small. Didn't play as usual thirty one minutes, just played twenty eight At sixteen and fifteen. Marcus Morris got off to a quick start but ended up playing just twenty eight minutes himself and finished with thirteen points. They had flashes here and there, but the production they had been getting from Reggie Jackson, from Terrence Man, from Norman Powell overall just wasn't quite as good. Reggie
finished with six points, just two main three pointers. Those were the only shots he knocked down. You could say Norman Powell a positive sign just because he still had sixteen. Some of those points came at the very end of the game, and John Wall had his moments too, and he went two
a four from distance. But Terrence Mann didn't have the type of impact he had been having the last three games, where he was a plus sixteen and their victory Wednesday night tied for a team high against the Lakers, and had been shooting the ball very well back coming into this game. He was shooting sixty two percent from the field, a staid in Moses Brown and all those dunks. He had the second highest field goal percentage on the team and he
goes one for five in eighteen minutes. Just didn't have the juice, wasn't able to get it going. And Paul George when he struggles like this, yeah, typically without Kawhi Leonard. Right now, if nobody else is going to get above twenty points, it's going to be a tough night, especially against a Brooklyn team that all of a sudden has become a defensive juggernaut.
If you want to say the Clippers just ran into the wrong team at the wrong time, you could, because the Nets the last six games have been given up less than ninety six a game, best in the NBA, and all of a sudden, without Kyrie irving in the last five they're four and one when they started off the season two and six with him. Defensively, they've been the best team in the NBA the last couple of weeks, and
they showed it. But I thought the Clippers they played into their hand a little bit, just settling for too many shots from the outside when in fourth quarters. This season, they especially have struggled from three, shooting twenty nine percent coming into this one. In close games during clutch time last five minutes within five points, they were shooting twenty eight percent from three. But they had a good net rating and clutch time they had been winning a lot of
those close games. They were top ten in net rating, but the three point shooting failed them. Maybe it was tired legs law of averages, not that they started off that hot from the outside. But this is a team capable of much more. And once again Nick Batoum, who did have two emphatic blocks, one on Joe Harris and one tracking Kevin Durant a Chase down block went five o three. The shooting struggles from the outside continue for Batum.
Not sure what it is, just early season funk, I think, but they didn't have enough support to lift up a bad game from Paul George shooting wise, although he was still spectacular defensively. That block on Claxton at the rim who looked to have an easy one. But if Paul George struggles like this and I'm still glad he got up twenty one shots, don't get me wrong, the aggressiveness was there. You're just gonna have nights like these.
Somebody else has got to be a lot more efficient and catch fire to help support the offense against a good defensive Brooklyn Nets team all of a sudden, really good because Kevin Durant had that efficient twenty seven on just sixteen shots,
and Sumner got off to a quick start. Royce O'Neill he hit three three pointers, but then Seth not Steph with a separate list like performance on the fourth quarter four three pointers, four a four shooting while the Clippers were ice cold and went without a field goal for four and a half minutes almost in the fourth. That's the story of the ball game. Plus sixteen turnovers from the Clippers. They had five of them in the first quarter. That
continues to be a problem. They were much better the last five games. They were only turning it over just under fourteen a game. They looked to have that back in line, but not good enough down the stretch, not good enough in the second half. What do you have? Let's see about eleven minutes in the second half where the Clippers went without a field goal. All right, let's start with John. Is he leaving the game? Is that? What it is? At? John leaving the game? John?
What's up here on Clippers stock? Hey? John? Say what's it good? John was at the game and I basically my observation has been well, in this particular game and even the last few games that I've been watching, there's not a lot of ball movement. It's a lot of hero ball from John Wall. It's a lot of issol move you know, one on one type of basketball. If you look at the Brooklyn's offense, how they you know they move the ball? Oh flows every time you know they want to.
The Clippers want to shoot it up the first chance they get. They're not even looking for a good shot. I think that there's a lot of coaching to be done, a lot of improvement on the Clippers side, because when I'm seeing this is not going to win into win to a championship, Well, John, there's something to that. I think the ball movement could
improve. The Clippers still had twenty two assists and a lot of misshots that would have been assist for them, and on the season in that category, they're twenty seventh, just averaging twenty one and a half assist per game. So I'm not going to disagree that the ball movement can't be better, because it can, and it was over the last six games. Remember, the Clippers had won five of their last six coming into this one. That turnaround sparked by Paul George and his play, But he was due for a bad
game. He wasn't gonna be able to shoot fifty five percent from the field forever. He was the Western Conference Player of the Week for a reason. But he was gonna have an off night. It was gonna happen. And then who's going to pick up the slack? Nobody else had more than sixteen points, and you're looking for that secondary score, that consistent secondary score for the Clippers. Be nice if it was Noran Powell. He did have sixteen
and twenty six minutes, but he's capable of a lot more. This is somebody who was averaging nineteen in his last season with the Portland Trailblazers, and that's next to Dame, next to CJ, and he was still getting buckets. Clippers lose by fifteen to the Brooklyn Nets at home and what was a much closer game till the Clippers went ice cold four and a half minutes in
that fourth quarter, at one point where they went scoreless. More Clippers stock coming up next, yourn Am five seventy l A sports Oh Paul George LA Clippers basketball continue ice in his pains as he carries the three on the home of your LA Clippers. Clippers lose one ten to ninety five to Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. And Seth Curry in downtown Los Angeles. Welcome back
into Clippers stock. I'm out of Moslin eight six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy as the phone number or get to me at follow Adam A on Twitter. Before we get back to your phone calls, let's pause ten seconds. First station identification. We don't need to what do you mean we don't need to. I got a call for it. It's on AM five seventy. You think we're gonna getting into the next break? What if I go for the next ten minutes? Am
I wrong? All right? Maybe I am Letty and antle Wood? Letty? Am I wrong? No? You do that right? Alright? Cool? Let me look here, man, Uh, I don't want you to just connecting me at last time, because I'm thinking you're taking this a little personal brouh Letty, do I not let you go for like two minutes? That's not disconnecting me off right. We have to pull up that audio and see what the other listeners think. Yeah, there's going to receipts. Hey, listen, So let me let me be clear here man. As of
right now, let's be honest. The Clippers the toughest team they've beaten was Cleveland, and they beat them on the back to back. Boy, wait, Clippers are on a back to back two But who who did they play? They played Houston, right, because you're right, back to back, back to back. But they were at home. Come on, they were at home. Don't take don't take that away from him. Don't take that
away from him. You're right you're right, You're right, You're right, But I'm just saying that was the that was the best when years so far, which I can graduate Paul George Hapson plan has been dealing and I just, uh, you know, I really like the job Wall brings, but let's be honest. As of right now, he couldn't hit a parking lot from a second four a balcony. His outside shot is not there. He's got great speed, great distribution. I'm hoping it comes there. I just
don't remember him his his his his shooting mopen. I just thought he had better uh shooting, the ability when using DC. So maybe it's just a timing thing, but usually a shot a shooters can shoot. But I just see problems with our point guard situation. And I don't think Kauhi is gonna come back and six anything. No no, I said, I know, I said, I don't. I don't think he's gonna come back, and just this team is gonna go from you know, uh zero or a hero
and like I just I there's some real problems man. And I hope that the front office and some people look confhysic because I I just don't see it there right now. We can't. We gotta have a point guard in the West coast that can stick the open j on a consistent basis. We need we need outside shooting from the point guard position, all right, and that that is that is a key position. I'm hoping TYLERU, well, Tyler is. You know, he's still one of the best coaches. But I
just see some problems. Man, I don't see us beating good teams right now. And it's just the now, you know, ball don't lie. It's just I mean, who we play. We play Houston next in Dallas right back to back up, Okay, back to back, so you know, we'll see what happens against Dallas. But Dallas is is another really good team, another good test for us, and you know it's gonna come. It's gonna be real evident here in in two weeks where we got because that
that'll be right about the time. But I think, Kuhi when I'm with everything I'm reading and here, and he's probably gonna, you know, maybe getting itself back into some sort of shape here. But you know, coming into the holiday season, man, you know, if it ain't there, something's got to be done or it's all right, you know, Okay, I appreciate the phone call. Did I Did I give you a fair time?
Yeah? I appreciate you all right. Look, john Wall has struggled from the outside so far this season, shooting twenty one percent from three. He went two of four in this one, but I don't think he's there for his three point shooting. It would be a bonus. John Wall's success as a Clipper isn't dependent on whether or not he's hitting shots from the outside. It's depending on whether or not he's pushing the pace. He's getting others easier shots too, and I think he's done a good enough job of that.
Definitely, he had to kick out to Marcus Morris. I mentioned in that fourth quarter at one point he generated eleven points either with his scoring or with his passing ability. And actually on the sea. He's having the highest two point percentage of his career at fifty three percent, so is effective field goal percentage overall? Has him been bad? Even though he's missing far too many free throws right now, he knows it. He called himself out.
He's shooting him like Shack. He was better in that area. I think he went three of four two or three from the free throw line in this one. Yeah, he's got to be better there, because if you're drawing as many fouls as he is, he's got to be able to stick the free beast hasn't been doing it so far. I don't think it's necessary for the Clippers to have a point guard that's a great shooter. They have so many great shooters around him. You just had to find those guys, find
Luke Kennard who did go two or four from the outside. The Clippers have a lot of good three point shooters that just aren't shooting it well enough so far this season, and especially in this fourth quarter and in the fourth quarter in general, in the year they've been at their worst pretty much. Some of those shots, just law of average, are going to turn back in
their favor. They will, because right now, after shooting thirty seven percent from three last season, after getting off to a slow start, Clippers are shooting it at thirty three percent so far this year. Two years ago they were at forty one percent from the outside. And you can't put it all
on Kawhi and say he's just gonna fix everything for this team. I agree with that, but is he going to fix a lot of what's missing with their offense, the efficiency offensively, where they've been a bottom three offense while being a top three defense. Yeah, I think so. I don't think it's gonna take that long because the Clippers have already been better on that end. They were just outside being a top ten offense the last five games coming
into this one. But Brooklyn, all of a sudden, has been a juggernaut on the defensive end, and the Clippers have lost five of their last six to the Nets, and in the nets last five games, they've held opponents to just ninety one points per game allowed Durant, by the way, twenty five plus in all thirteen games this season. Nobody else has been scoring at that high of eclip and Clason tied a career high with fourteen. So the Nets, I don't know if they're peaking, but they're playing some of
their best basketball right now, and they're doing so without Kyrie Irving. And the Clippers may have just seen a team at the wrong time, but Paul George him going five to twenty one with what we've seen the last six games, that's an outlier that'll change. Clippers lose one ten to ninety five to the Brooklyn Nets coming up next. More Clippers stock. We're looking for pro post game audio. Eight six six ninety seven two five seventy is the phone
number. Eight six six ninety eight seven two five seventy and thanks to Dennis Dagastino or satistician to the stars, the star being no eagle. More Clippers stock next, ye, already up by seventy LA sports hen he got it counted from distance, the odds on favorite to hoist the Larry o'bright heavily contested, and it doesn't matter. On the home of your LA Clippers. It was eighty nine eighty eight. Brooklyn was six forty three left after a John
Wall jumper. Clippers were within one. The next bucket they would get would be at the two oh one mark of the fourth quarter, and they were down one oh four to ninety one. Now they lose one, ten to ninety five to the Brooklyn Nets in downtown Los Angeles. Seth Curry goes four for four from three in the fourth. Kevin Durant finished with twenty seven in the victory for Brooklyn. They send your LA Clippers to seven and six on
the season. Welcome back into Clippers talk. I'm atam oslin to eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy Kenny in Cyprus, Kenny, what's up here on Clippers talk? All right? I was wondering what your take is on how well they're moving the ball. They're not so much. I think some if I can tell that somebody's going to pound the ball and then skunk up at three, are competition? Sure they can, right, Sure that's fair, Kenny. Look, I point out the numbers earlier. They're a
bottom team when it comes to assist per game. That's twenty one and a half per game. They were just above that with twenty two in this game and a lot of that though so far the season. You know, they only get the assist if guys making a shot, and the Clippers have missed far too many open looks so far. They shoot thirty four percent from three in this game. They're shooting thirty three percent from three on the season.
With virtually the same roster plus even more help from the outside, they should be better. I think by the end of the year they'll be close to thirty eight percent from distance. So some progressions in the mean will happen as long as they stick to those principles of drive, kicks, swing, penetrate the paint, kick it back out, spray the basketball out and make the
extra pass and find the open shooter. Luke Kennard getting up five shots in twenty three minutes, not enough at a nice drive to the basket for anand one, but him starting. This was the first game they lost. I believe they are now four and one with Luke Kennard in the starting lineup.
He has been good because, yeah, you can make the argument even when he's not shooting, a lot of attention is going his way and other guys are finding driving lanes because Luke Kennard simply has that gravity from the outside. He'll pull the defense his way. He'll stretch the floor and make things easier for other guys. But not easy enough in the fourth quarter for the Clippers.
They struggled. They finished with twenty four points in the fourth, but they did most of that damage in the first six minutes and then the wheels just fell off and they scored seven points in the last six and a half minutes of the fourth Just tough shooting drafts in the second half for the Clippers six and a half minutes without him, made field goal in the third quarter almost and then four and a half in the fourth quarter. That that will
do you in against the Brooklyn Nets team that's playing really well. And as though I don't know, one of the top scores in NBA histories and say he's the greatest scorer of all time and Kevin Durant and he had an easy light work twenty seven on sixteen shots. Mitching New Jersey, Mitch, what's up? You're not gonna brag about the Brooklyn Nets? Sorry, because you're from New Jersey. From start? Now, how are you doing this? Thanks? Taken the core? What's up down in Virginia? Now? All
right? Did you want to get the want I get a clip as on TV? I'm not around. I'm not around my necklar Woods? What do you think of the game? But I wish John wo would start? I mean, you know, hey, I kid, the way he fishes gets rebounds. Bet Bennie Jackson, I want to see I'm Dynasty's pressing moll and Moses Brown. I want you to use when is quite a coming back? This is it's it's unbelievable. The injury, how bare it was, his injury, It's believable. Mitch, he tore his ACL. It's not a
boo boo, it's not he didn't jam his finger. He tore his ACL. He's been out. He was out all of the last season. You're right, Mitch, and he comes into this season. He plays a couple of games, he feels some stiffness in his right knee. And they're not going to push things this early in the year. Okay, okay, I'm glad they're being smart about not like some of the doctors with the charges. You know, well, that's how Justin Herby was pushing to the staunch.
If ever you remember, Yeah, all right, miss, thank you for the phone call. Morrison, Long Beach. You're on clever Stock withoutam Oslin. Morris followed that. I tell you, he's just like the preacher always says it is a make miss league. And I know that sounds like the choir, but it truly is. Nobody none of our guys got hot in the fourth. Your boy Curry, we're gonna have to drug test him now. He got off in the fourth. But none of our guys gotten hot
up from the arc. And that's why they always is amaze, make miss. I remember the one where pauls went all the way, have down and came out a couple of times. I mean, and you know, just to make miss League. And then Clippers didn't have it at one time they would shin out of thirty. You're not gonna beat nobody with that, especially a team that you know coming together like the Nets. And you got your boy Kevin Durman over there, a very efficient night. So it was a
tough loss, but still a make miss League. And that's what it came down to. I'll talk to you later, all right, Morris. I like it. Too many misses and coming down the stretch for the Clippers in this case where we've seen this before. It happened against Utah. They missed their last sixteen threes in that game. They missed eleven in the fourth quarter. They started off this fourth quarter against Brooklyn one for seven. So some of it, yeah, maybe they could have generated better looks. Some of
it is they gotta knocked down some shots. It's part of their offense, all right. When those shots go down, some of them are looking the exact same way. To Morris's point, they just didn't drop in the fourth quarter of this one. And Paul George he can get a lot to fall outside the third quarter where he had eight of his seventeen. Just look to have one of those nights or one of those days they happen. He wasn't going to shoot fifty five percent and forty three percent from the field and from
three forever, but it was a heck of a run from him. And they'll look to pick up the pieces and come together in Houston for a little Texas two steps Monday and Tuesday is starting against the Rockets and then the Dallas Mavericks and Luca Donchage. More on that coming up next year. On Clippers Stalk eight six six ninety eight seven two five seventy eight six six ninety eight
seven two five seventy he'll listen to the AM five seventy LA Sports. Oh, Paul George La Clippers Basketball, continue pace in his pains as he carries the three on the home of your LA Clippers. Well, the Brooklyn Nets went on a big eighteen to two run in the last four minutes fourth quarter. Here in the middle of the fourth quarter, I should say so, first fall to seven and six. They lose one, ten to ninety five to Kevin Durant, Seth Curry and the Nets. Welcome back in the Clippers
stock. I'm out of Oslin to eight to sixty six nine eight seven two five seven two to five seventy. Marty or Morty. I prefer to be Morty in New York? Is it Marty? Yes, Morty, thank you. So I was curious we have any more info on Kauai's injury and the extent of it, or just any time timetable or there's any news on it. Honestly, I don't see much. Did you see the report yesterday, Morty? He was engaging in five on five activities for the first time since
they took him out. I got it. So there's no timetable when he's gonna be back, though, No, that has been par for the course. No timetable. They're hoping sooner than later, of course. All right, Well, let's get that champion and let's go clip. I'm with that. You're talking about a two time Finals MVP, two time Defensive Player of the Year. Kawhi Leonard is an absolute superstar, a game changer for this
squad. And as bad as the Clippers have looked offensively at times and in spurts today, all right, he can cure a lot of that very quickly. It will be a breath of fresh air to see him and Paul George back out on the court together again. They played less than one hundred games together as Clippers, but they've been really good when they've been out there. Just gotta get guys healthy, and Kawhi is returning from a major injury. You have to take that into account. Greg and Newport Beach. You're on
Clippers stock without Aim Awesome. What's up, Adam? What's up? Greg? Hey man, listen, I didn't see the game to day, bro, how will that work? But I've been listening to a Clipper thought right now. So but you know, I'm giving you a couple of observations over the last couple of weeks. I'm not tripping. It's still early. It's still early, so people need to calm down. It's still early. Listen
at him. I know when Kawhii hurt his knee. Do you remember to play against the Lakers in the first game where he pumps faked a d and ad came down hard on his back, but he landed on Kawhi's back first, m I know Kawhi went to the ground a few different times in that game. Yeah, but that was a I was watching that play right there, and when he pumped fake and Adi went up and Abe came down, he put a lot of weight on Kauai's right knee, and I thought,
I thought to myself. Then when that happened, I said, Wow, that was a test right there to see where that knee is at. And then shortly after that, that's when Kawhi went out. Well, but he played against Phoenix. He played again after that. I don't think that was an issue. No, Phoenix was the first game of the season at Staples Center, right, No, that was that was the Lakers. The Lakers was the first game. Come on, Greg, don't no, no, wait, okay, I know the Lakers was the first game, but I'm
saying the first time we played it was their home opener. But it was a couple of days after the Lakers game. So if you're inferring that it occurred with the ad play, then why was he playing a couple of days later? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, but but but at him Listen to me, man, listen. Okay. So I was at the Phoenis game and I was watching Kawhi in that game, and he was laboring. Man, I'm telling you, I was watching him going up and down the court,
and he wasn't playing like he normally played. So I really do believe. I'm not saying for sure did that play re injured him, but I'm thinking that that play did reinjure him though. Man, But that's not even why I thought. I was just saying that because people keep asking you when it was kauhar coming back and blah blah blah, like he had a minor injury. When we know where then a CEO is usually that's the year to
a year and a half. He'll come back when he's healthy, right, Greg, He'll come back when he feels good enough to play when he feels right. And look, he was the one who wanted to play when he felt that stiffness in his knee before game one of the back to back in Okay. See, he wanted to play. The team want to be overly cautious and hold him out. So Kauai has been chomping at the bit to
be back out there. This is somebody who I've never seen him smile and engage and be more vocal on the court than he was during the preseason with his team, and in those two games he played in so far, he has been so excited to be back to playing basketball. He talked about it, how much he missed the game and how much you can't take it for granted. Yeah, exactly, And I missed seeing him out there, man.
But what I wanted to ask you, and I'm gonna let you go, Adam Okay, man, So you know, Vegas had us as one of the teams coming out of the West to make it to the comp me to the finals. Now what I've seen so far, and it is still early, do you tell me what do you think? Do you think that the Clippers are an elite team that can possibly come out of the West to represent the West in the finals. And that's it. That's my last question, man, all right, Greg, of course, a fully healthy Clippers
team is an elite team. They're already an elite defense right now, and they haven't had that two time defensive Player of the Year outside of twenty minutes in two games. I mean, look at look at the West Golden States at five and seven right now, they're the champs. They've had issues if they lost five in a row. At one point, they're four and six, in their last ten games. Teams are still trying to figure things out.
As good as Utah is at the top of the Western Conference at ten and three, I don't expect them to end up there at the end of the year. The Clippers, We've talked about it a lot be a top three seed. Find a way to be a top three seed. We've talked about how much depth they have on this team. They should be able to absorb injuries and missing superstars here and there better than anyone else. Really. Now. They had their own issues, a four game skid early on,
but they've still won five of their last seven. Today was a winnable game, no doubt. They had their opportunities. If Paul George is on his game like he had been the last week and a half or so, yeah, they likely win. But it wasn't to be against the Brooklyn Nets team that's playing that well defensively. Now they go on the road for two. Got to at least get the split. Tough back to back because Luca Dontae
and the Dallas Mavericks. They've lost a couple in a row. But Luca, I think it's between he and Steph Curry right now, Your points leaders on the season. He's just putting up astronomical numbers, just ridiculous stuff, even more so than usual. Going for that MVP this year? Can he take it away from Nicola Yokich. We'll see. That'll be on Tuesday. But Monday, Clippers taken on a familiar squad, Hindi Houston Rockets. They've already seen them twice. Tip time for that one from h Town is at
five. We'll have Clippers countdown your pregame show starting at four. This guy get healthy, alright. We've been saying it for a while, but you're as good as the players you have available.
