Time for a postgame. Look, it's your La Clippers. This is Clippers Locker Road, brought to you by Cedars Sinai, the official health partner of the La Clippers, and by Patchonga, official travel casino of the LA Clippers. Breaking down today's action with the pre and post game voice. If you're LA Clippers, They're locking in every game, every night. Adam Osland. For the first time in the last six games, the Clippers are defeated.

They lose on the road in Cleveland by a final score of one to eighteen to one oh eight in favor of the Cavaliers. Welcome into your post game show. I'm ad A Oslin. Coming up. We'll have Clippers stock on a M five to seventy LA Sports. If you want to get on early eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy. Well, let's get back out to Cleveland with Carlo Jimenez.

Carlo, we talked about in that fourth quarter the Clippers just weren't good enough defensively, not quite enough stops and still far too many turnovers and miscues and miss free throw at the charity shot. Yeah, a lot of shooting themselves in the foot in this one at them, they just couldn't get over that hump. Cleveland was excellent at timely shots. I mean they shoot the ball well from three, but it felt like every single three was a big

one to push the lead back up the double figures. Clippers were able to get it close, big, big, thanks to Kawhi Leonard. He was

excellent in this one with thirty points. But I think those turnovers at the end of the second half or the first s half, I should say, and then the turnovers late in this one, and then defending without fouling, I mean something the Clippers did so well in Boston at them, they really didn't put the Celtics at the free throw line in all ten free throws through three quarters when the Clippers took on the Celtics, that game was really only

three quarters because the Clippers were up so much Cleveland. In this one, they were plus twenty one free throws at the line on eighty percent. Jared Allen was excellent eight for eleven from the free throw line. Close one for the Clips couldn't get it done. I think this is a big learning experience. A team that was riding high coming off their best win. They got a lot of think about after this one. Yeah, I don't think either

squad is gonna be happy with the officiating in this ballgame. The Clippers attempted twenty eight free throws the Cavaliers twenty six. That maybe a talking point postgame, because it was just a little bit of a rough watch out there, a little bit wonky, and neither team could seem to catch a rhythm. But to your point, the Cavaliers were the better squad because when they needed to hit timely shots and answer a run by the Clippers, they would do

so. Yeah, und percent and Adam, you could think to a couple of shots the Clippers had, I mean a mere Coffee had a corner three. He had been so hot in this one. Norman Palell had two open threes late. He's usually as consistent as they come, especially in fourth quarters the Clippers. For the Clippers, the chances were there, but they just couldn't knock them home late. And sometimes that's gonna happen. I don't like to dwindle NBA games down to a miss or make league. I think there's

a lot more that goes into that. But the Clippers missed the shots they needed to make late, and because they were sloppy with a basketball, that meant a lot more than maybe it could have in this one tough finish for the Clippers, but you got a chance to refocus against two teams who are really struggling in the Wizards and then the Pistons, two teams who haven't won more than eight games all year a piece. So for the Clippers, an

opportunity to really home some things. And then also I think another mental challenge, Adam, you can't sleepwalk through anybody in the NBA. Yeah, and this is what you have to overcome when you're out on the road, regardless

of the opponent. You have to get up for those ball games because you are in the lions Den or the dragons Layers, you would say, as the Clippers were on Saturday in Boston, but in DC, the nation's capital on Wednesdays, where the Clippers will be taken on the Washington Wizards who are struggling. But you just can't overlook anyone. Tiptime, same time, four o'clock, we'll have your free game show starting at three. Carlo Jimenez,

great call is always safe travels my friends, we'll talk on Wednesday. Thank you, Adam. Can't wait to talk to you Wednesday. From the Nation's Capitals. The road trip continues. We're kind of in the dog days on it. Let's keep it rolling though. Clippers looking for you some bounce back. Clippers two to one on this seven game Grammy road trip as they fall in Cleveland one eighteen to oneh eight to the Cavaliers. We'll get to your

final box score next right here on the Los Angeles Clippers Audio Network. LA Clippers basketball is on the two one three Era continues. You're listening to the LA Clippers on the LA Clippers Audio Network. Clippers fall in Cleveland, one eighteen to one oh eight to the Cavaliers. I'm out of Oslin. You're back in on your Clippers postgame locker room show coming up. We'll get to

your final box score, but right now, second half highlights. It was Kawhi Leonard in that first half, just leading the Clippers, but there was slippage at the end of that second quarter where the Clippers had just one turnover and all of a sudden, they had four within a two minute stretch,

and that was kind of their undoing. It just felt like a big momentum swing because instead of going up at the half, they were down fifty six to fifty two to the Cavaliers. But in that third quarter it was still more from the claw. Terrence Man full corep pass Leonard right black Pumpins, goes up, couldn't finish, gets his own rebound, puts the back up and in with the left hand Leonard at the top three for the lead bulls

eye Kawhi Leonard's got twenty one. George left wing Leonard with fine to shoot twenty one points. Working against Mitchell a near corner three jack potts, Leonard is ridiculous. Fading to his left in the coffin corner, he knocks it home. That is one of the most ridiculous, high degree of difficulty shots you will see on the season. The defense by Donovan Mitchell was perfect. Kawhi was falling away back and to the left back and to the left.

He was going to get that three pointer to go after three quarters, though the Clippers were down eighty nine to eighty one. Is once again uncharacteristically, this team did not close out a quarter. End of the third, it was a fourteen to five run from the Cavaliers. Clippers were down by eight heading into the fourth. They had their opportunities. I believe they had it down to a four point game, but tip your cap to the Cavaliers.

They made big shots, timely shots in that fourth quarter and would answer runs by the Clippers who couldn't get out of their own way, miss free throws, some turnovers, and outside of the superstardom of Kawhi Leonard, they just weren't good enough, didn't play sound enough basketball to get a victory over a team that has now won fifteen of their last nineteen games. Clippers dropped to thirty and fifteen on the season. More Clippers postgame coming up next right here

on the Los Angeles Clippers Audio Network. Every Clipper game all season long, they didn't stop playing hard. You're listening to the LA Clippers audio streaming on the iHeartRadio WAP Clippers fall one eighteen so one O eight in Cleveland to the Cavaliers. Welcome back in a Madame Oslin. This is your Clippers postgame show.

It's Clippers locker Room. Coming up next on AM five seventy LA Sports, we will have Clippers Talk eight six six ninety seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy after a game where the Clippers go just eleven to thirty four from the outside. The Cavaliers were just slightly better at thirteen of forty, but the Clippers missed seven free throws the Cavaliers and

they've still missed five. But those extra possessions on the offensive boards with the Cavaliers beating the Clippers up there eleven to six, led to five more make

it six more shot attempts in nineteen second chance points. Clippers for the first time in their last three games outscored in the paint fifty two to forty six, and the Cavaliers was seventeen fast break points to the Clippers just fifteen, although they did turn that around in the second half, too little, too late, and just couldn't get enough from anyone outside of Kawhi Leonard thirty points from him thirteen to twenty five, shooting the dunk on Jared Allen, the

three pointer falling away on Donovan Mitchell, some Claw heroics, but nobody else really helping him out. Paul George three of eleven, just thirteen points. Wonder if we'll get an update on the groin injury. Post game. James Harden just three of eight from the field with eleven points. Russ had thirteen off the match. I thought he was better my player to watch. Noran

Powell eighteen points, six of thirteen. We're just not used to him missing ever in the fourth, and he had a great look at a three pointer, couldn't get it to go. A mere coffee was fabulous thirteen points. Great defense causing a turnover late on Donovan Mitchell giving the Clippers a chance. Five of nine shooting two of five from the outside, but he missed a free throw. Norman Powell missed free throws. Paul George miss free throw in

the fourth. Can't happen when you're trying to stage a comeback. It would come up short. Clippers lose by ten in Cleveland. Their next game coming up in DC on Wednesday. For the Clippers, they were in attack mode. Adam Ousley, Oh, Kawhi Leonard certainly fears no. Fro can't say the rest for the other guys on this Clippers team tonight, as it was a lot of off nights outside of Kawhi Leonard with his thirty point performance in thirty seven minutes, and the Clippers would lose in Cleveland one eighteen to oneh eight to the Cavaliers. I'm

Madame Oslin. You're in on Clippers stock here on m five to seventy LA Sports eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six ninety seven two five to seventy gets me. I'd follow Adam a on X coming up. I think we got Will Updike on unless because the Clippers didn't win. He doesn't want to do it. We'll see. But the Clippers dropped two thirty and fifteen and they lose to a team that has now won fifteen of their last nineteen games. Talked about it a lot in the pregame show.

These were two of the hottest teams in each conference. Really, the Cavaliers had won fourteen of eighteen coming into this one. The Clippers, well, come on, they had won twenty two of them, the last twenty six. Since December first, they had won thirteen of fifteen, now thirteen of sixteen as they fall, still two in one so far in this seven game Grammy road trip. The goal was to go six and one heard that from coach lou with Carlo Jimenez before they left, before they hopped on that bird.

As Matt mney Smith would say, it's still attainable. But there was a lack of focus out there, I thought, and it would rear its ugly head. At the end of the second quarter, the Clippers, after being down I want to say, yeah, by three points entering the second, they had reclaimed the lead. The Calves went through a shooting slump.

The Clippers were starting to play better defensively, and they were starting to flex their muscles a little bit and showing off that number one offense since December first against the number one defense since December first and the Caves who got Evan Mobley back. He made an impact in twenty one minutes, ten points, nine boards, not bad, Darried Allen I mentioned him, he had twenty and seventeen. If you didn't know or were one of those of Eatza Zubo's detractors,

as for some reason there are still many in the fan base. It makes no sense to me. He's easily one of the most underrated players in the league. He has missed right now, Big Zoo, especially in this game. They missed him though against the Lakers two. They miss him every game He's not there. He is the backbone of their defense and their best rebounder. The Clippers have to do it collectively right now. They were able to the last two games against two teams that were smaller in the Boston Celtics

in the Toronto Raptors. They just out talented that Lakers team that was without Lebron James before for those two games. But the Cavaliers have size rebounded to the Clippers forty six to thirty seven and eleven of six on the offensive boards. They got up six more shot attempts, But it was the end of that second quarter by the Clippers where I think the game was lost. We'll

hear from coach Leuwin a little bit on that. But after having just one turnover through the first twenty two minutes of the ball game, the Clippers just let go of the rope. I don't know what happened. Miss Q after MISSQ, all of a sudden, nasty basketball, multiple turnovers. James Harden had one, then Kawhi, then one from Plumbley, then an eight second violation on James Harden. Those are mental lapses. That stuff can't happen.

Those aren't championship habits. They need to correct that stuff immediately. And then they gave up multiple offensive rebounds leading to isaacacuro three pointer, and he did some damage against the Clippers as well. He had seventeen three or four shooting from the outside, some big timely threes, even though the Calves only hit

thirteen of them. Just seemed like whenever they needed that bucket to stem the tide against the Clippers, trying to make a comeback down double digits in the fourth, the Calves stepped up. Give them credit, Donovan Mitchell hit some big ones twenty eight points, eleven and twenty one shooting, But the end of that second quarter just uncharacteristic play from the Clippers. They go from having one turnover to four in the span of two minutes right before the half.

It was ugly, just nasty stuff. And most of these were just unforced, careless, self inflicted wounds, unnecessary turnovers, not the Calves making a great defensive play, which they're prone to do, the Clippers handing it to them. That was my issue with those. Even a sloppy pass from Kawhi Leonard, who was awesome tonight, can't really go after him whatsoever. But

you're in the game, you're leading. It was fifty one to forty four Clippers with two point fifty left in the second quarter, after another Kawhi Leonard fade away and he was looking like MJ ninety six, as I like to say, second three Pete MJ. Was. Some of the shots he was making just unguardable. There is no defense that can stop those shots, especially that three point in the third over Donovan Mitchell. Unbelievable shot. The dunk on Jared Allen. But the Clippers are up by seven. They had just

taken back the lead. They had made their push, made their run, and somehow they end up down four two and a half minutes later. And they come out in the third quarter and it carried over. There was an offensive rebound, another put back for the Cavaliers. Clippers had a turnover. So this team still has a lot of work and a lot of room to grow, a lot of work to be done, and a lot of things to clean up. And it's gonna happen. And maybe this was just third

game, four nights on the road. You chalk it up to that tough Cavaliers team. I'm not overly concerned when guys have off nights to this degree. Where Paul George is three of eleven, James Hardness three of eight, Mason Plumbley was not great, just five and five and twenty two minutes and off the bench, and Norman Pal's actually missing shots on the four quarter, an open three pointer. He was still good overall, eighteen points in twenty

seven minutes. And Mere Coffee was good. I thought Russ was better, had a bit of a bounce back performance from him. Made more of the layups. I think only missed one. Didn't like some of the three pointers attempted. You're down ten. I know he was wide open off the pass from James Harden early in the fourth quarter, and that lineup, you know, it just hasn't been fruitful so far. Overall, Russ's next to James Harden, the numbers have been better. But entering that fourth quarter, you're

down, you're looking for energy. I get why Coach lou wanted to go to it after Kris Lavert hit what we thought was a three pointer to end the third quarter, another quarter where the Clippers didn't close, just like the end of the second where they had momentum and they gave it away fourteen to five run to end that quarter by the Cavaliers. LeVert stepped on the line.

It was reviewed afterwards, and man, what a wonky just pacing rhythms of the game because of so many fouls being called Tiki Tek the technical and Max Struss for what showing up the official he threw the ball to her too hard. I don't understand that one. I would be upset if I was a Cavalier fan. No harm, no foul, I guess because they ended up winning the ball game. But there were just some strange calls, Scott Foster overruling one that went against the Clippers. That is not why they lost

this ballgame. I thought it was just the game was a little bit even more junked up. While you're playing one of the best defenses in the league and guys are taking free throws left and right, it's hard to find a rhythm. It's hard to get your timing out there. I think that accounts

for some of the poor shooting from the Clippers. But you don't want to excuse this poor play because they're better in this They're down by one with a minute forty six left in the third quarter and they end up by the time it's over down by seven. They give up another run fourteen to five. When the Clippers have been closing out quarters very well, which is the sign

it's a trait of a championship habit. But Lavert hit a three pointer, Mitchell had a layup, and then obviously the Lavert twenty two foot or foot on the line buzzer beater shot to put them up eight. It was actually seven. They reviewed it. But you're down one, you're right there.

With a minute forty six left close the quarter. They just seemed to lose focus at the end of quarters multiple times, and that is a mental laps, That is the mental game not being strong enough from this Clippers team against the Cavaliers, who were too good to have those lapses again. Really, I don't think it was a letdown. I hope it wasn't them getting too high off the win in Boston and that had some carryover and guys just weren't

ready to go. I know Kawhi was, but the rest of the squad who there was a lot of guys struggling out there, especially in the starting unit. Terrence Man had his moments, but he didn't get much run. I get it in Mere Coffee was hot. You gotta ride the hot hand. He was really good in the fourth quarter. All the defensive play on Donovan Mitchell to cause that turnover as he was chasing him around a screen.

Beautiful, really like what we've seen from a Mere Coffee. What do you know in January, just like in twenty twenty two where he was carrying this team for a section of time, he's stepping up again. Powell was strong

off the bench. Russ was Okay, Daniel Tice struggled. He did have five assists, I'll give him that, but zero points, just four boards, a turnover, and the Clippers don't have big Zoo right now, and against a team like the Cavaliers, that is not the guy that you want to be missing as they now and a lot of people are reminded that they are missing big Zoo. You get by a couple of games, you win them, Oh we're all right. We got Plummet and Daniel Sice. They

can hold down the fort. And then you take on a team like the Cleveland Cavaliers with a size disadvantage that the Clippers are at, and you realize what you had with a vitza zu Bots, a top three rim protector, and a guy who was running pick and roll with James Harden to perfection before he got hurt. Harden still had eleven, ten assists, just three turnovers. You know he could still impact a game, even go in just three

of eight. I was hoping he or Paul George at some point would start putting up more shots and just catch a rhythm, have a stretch where they could score five or six straight. Hard only took eight. Paul George only took eleven. Now, he filed out in that fourth quarter some tough calls. It looked to me like he was straight up, but no, they reviewed it, and so he only plays twenty seven minutes. I don't know if he would have played more than that anyways, or above thirty at least

because of the groin injury. But his second game where he has fouled out so far this season, it was the overtime game against the Lakers in their first meeting back right after the James Harden trade went down and the Clippers were missing bodies. They lose by ten to the Cavaliers on the road. Let's start things off with Hobber and the Hobber Heights. Xavier, you're on Clipper stock without a Maaza, what's up? Hey, what's up? But I'm

thank you everything on my call again, real quick things. You know, he can't win all of them, but rather them win in Boston then win in Cleveland. But I mean, but this game was there, But yeah, you're right, didn't look right. The starters, I mean, Paul George I had went thirteen, James Hardy had eleven, and then Terrence Mattett five. I mean it just want those numbers. You're not gonna You're not gonna win again with that. Yeah, I mean it's tough to overcome.

Kawhi can carry you to a point, and if he knocks down a couple more shots in the fourth quarter, maybe it's a different situation. But you got to get stops. That was the issue to me when the Clippers were scoring. They put up a twenty seven point fourth quarter, but they gave up thirty. They couldn't get the stops. They couldn't defend without fouling, and as close as it was, it was still feeling like an uphill battle. No, No, you're right, and also doing I noticed too on

Paul George. I believe it was a third quarter or yeah, third quarter. He did not I mean, I know he's got the going thing going on there, but he does not look healthy. I mean he was not moving, psyched side Paul George and just his defense was not there. I don't know, what do you think maybe he just sit out a couple of games. I mean they got what the Wizards and then they got the Pistons. But yeah, I seen him closely and Paul George is not moving on

defense. He was not moving. And that was one thing I noticed. And the second thing I think we talked about it. I told you about this. Whenever Russell Westbrook drives in for a layup and he misses it now here. I've been talking about this for years. Trust me, those are live ball turnovers. I say it all the time. Where were you listening to the broadcast? Yeah, well, I know, but I bought it up a couple times too. But every time they would come back and they,

oh, shoot a three every time of like up oral layup. He had a miss at the end of the third that led to a carouselavert layup on the other end, because it's a five on four situation all of a sudden every time every time. But yeah, but I mean, yeah, but yeah, we got the next weekend. So I'm just saying, I don't know if you noticed with Paul George he was not more moving on defense.

But I mean, like I said, he's got that injury though small injury has but we'll see, we'll see if we'll see what happens in next couple of games. Thank you, Adam, Thank you were taking my call. All right, Vier, We'll talk to you one my friend. Yeah, Paul George. Look, the medical staff knows best. He knows best, But would I be surprised if he missed one of the upcoming games against two of the teams that are bottom dwellers in the NBA right now? Can't

overlook them. We just saw, okay see lose to the Detroit Pistons. Minnesota's just lost to Charlotte and San Antonio. So any given night, you don't play your best, you aren't focused, you look past someone you can get got, you can get beat. Clippers have to win I think the next two if they want a shot at moving up in the standings coming out of this seven game road trip. Well, we have a moment. Let's

pause ten seconds for station identification. Here on a five seventy l spores, this is LA Clippers Basketball AM five seventy KLAC Los Angeles ninety eight seven KYSR HD two Los Angeles and iHeartRadio station. Well, take a quick time out. We'll get back to your phone calls. Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number. Clippers lose a tough one, didn't play close to their best.

Still had chances late, but they didn't make the plays that had to be made, either on defense or on offense. Wide open three for norm pal normally knocks that down. Free throws missed. I want to save four or five miss in the fourth quarter alone critical shots. They lose one eighteen to one oh eight in Cleveland to the Cavaliers. They'll be in DC on Wednesday. We'll preview that. We'll have I think Will Updyke is coming on with us in just a little bit here. I make it Chuck Monkler that time

of night, I'm getting crossed up myself. You're listening to clipperstock here on five seven LA Sports every Clipper game all season, law they didn't stop playing hard. You're listening to the LA Clippers Audio Network streaming on the iHeartRadio app. Clippers fall first time in a couple of weeks. They lose in Cleveland to the Cavaliers, their first loss on this seven game Grammy road trip one

eighteen one oh eight was the final. I'm Adam Oslin. You're listening to Clippers stock coming up or getting back to your phone calls at eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy. You can also get to me at follow Adam a on X, but join the show right now for a little Clips and Double Dip is our friend Chuck Mockler from Clips and Dip Chuck. Where was this game lost in your

eyes or mind or whatever? Searching for answers right now? Yeah, exactly. I I'm not entirely sure. I'm honestly kind of torn between Kawhi Leonard being really the only guy who could find any kind of rit am out there. I got to put a lot of the you know, if we're going to go that run, I got to kind of point to figure a little bit at Paul George, who isn't one hundred percent. We know he's not one hundred percent. It's just a matter of how not one hundred percent is

he And just kind of the lack of focus there was the calves. Really there were parts of this game where the Calves really could have pulled away from the Clippers and they just didn't. And the Clippers had a couple opportunities, especially late, to make things happen, but it was just quick bad decisions too. It was possessions ending really early, you know, through through a bad turnover or something like that. So I think it's one of those two

things. Yeah, I mean it was still a tight game. The Clippers made it interesting late after they were down double digits in the fourth quarter. They weren't exactly going quietly into the night. To quote a what was that, Bill Claxton to quote the yeah, ID four baby, come on, But look, it was a five point game. Down the stretch. Kawhi Leonard was still playing well. It was a four point game after a mere

Coffee got a two pointer. They were fighting, they were battling. They just didn't execute well enough, and there were so many little mental miscues and errors out there that were frustrating to watch from a team that has been really sound in a lot of different little areas that you need to be to win a championship. Just some of those habits didn't show up in this one.

To meet Chuck, Yeah, and it is hard to do that for every single game, right, the Clippers have played so well lately that I don't know if we were due for something like this, But yeah, lack of executions is a great call. There was just Yeah, the Cabs are a great defense, right, we do need to give credit to the Cabs. They use their size really well. It really bothered the Clippers pick and roll

rhythm and things like that. But yeah, there was just no room for a lot of airs tonight, and unfortunately there were hard with I think the most turnovers he's had a couple of games combined, So I think at that point, you know, James Harden raises the floor so much for the Clippers and the ceiling, but when he's not playing well, the Clippers tend to maybe go the way of him a little bit. It was Bill Pullman rip Bill Paxton, one of my favorites. Ever, I just wanted to correct

myself there. Uh, this is a game where with out of Eatz's zoobos, it really stands out. It really shines the light on how much he is missed. And I hope people understand that because you know a lot of people were saying, hey, they're fine. See they have Plumbley and Daniel Ties. They can make up for his production out there. You can't. No one guy can. And he's their best route rebounder, their best rint

protector, their biggest guy. He was sorely missed against Cleveland. Yeah, and I know people might look at this game and say, oh, the Clippers really need more size. You do have to remember that Zoo was gone, right, Tyson and Plumbley are so good when you can tune them and use them as kind of a one to two punch to see what's going to work when you have the stabilizing presence and literally the size of Zoo against the

larger team like the Cavs. So, yeah, it hurts. We hope that reevaluation goes well for him and he can come back one hundred percent. I also kind of maybe hope PG system of the next two games so he can get back to one hundred percent too. Yeah, I think. I mean, you're not winning a championship if he's not right, if he can't

be himself. So at what point do you strike that balance of knowing the regular season is important, Yes, you're trying to be a top three seed, but also knowing that to win it all, you got to have these guys healthy and you can't have this lingering groin injury just continue to bleed into

games. I don't know if they're just trying to get to the All Star break and maybe that would be enough, but with the next couple of games, coming up against lesser opponents, that is an opportunity where if Paul George isn't feeling right, he certainly didn't look right in this game, it may be time to sit him. I also felt like there was just a really wacky whistle in this game, just so many that it took guys out of their own rhythm. I mean, Daniel Tice gets called for the foul with

his face. Uh. And I'm not saying it was a bad whistle against the Clippers because that technical foul on Max Strus for handing the ball too aggressively to the official. I would be livid if I was a Cavaliers fan over that call. It looked like nothing, but it didn't help. But just felt like the game was jumped up even more against a team that's that good defensively. Yeah, I mean everything went wrong for the Clippers that was kind

of out of their control a little bit, right. The Cows were playing great. Mobile came back and looked really good in his limited minutes. The Clippers didn't win his minutes, I think, but he was still a problem for them that they had to account for and whatnot. And yeah, it just no rhythm, That's what really, I keep coming back to for anyone on the team. Norman was started the fourth grade. He hit a three right to open that but he scored ten in the first but was quiet in

the second and third. Just you know, Paul George filed out like these are all things where there was no rhythm to be found in the middle of the game at all. How cool is Kawhi Leonard though, I mean, come on, how awesome is Kawhi Leonard. The dunk on Zara Allen, but the three pointer to me on Donovan Mitchell in the far side corner, falling to his left back into the left chuck. That was insane. Yeah, that didn't make any sense. And that three I think was a nice

microcosm of his game as a whole. Right, Kawhi is doing these unreal things. He's making things happen. He dragged the Clippers to not getting blown out tonight. Really, that is what Kawhi did. Unfortunately they couldn't get any help. You know, it was just a little too late for some other guys. But yeah, Kawhi continues to be a top three player in the NBA. We love it. Kawhi Leonard tried his best, but the Clippers would fall by ten. He had thirty. They lose one eighteen to

oneh eight in Cleveland to the Cavaliers. He is Chuck Mockler of Clips and Dip. We got a new YouTube coming tomorrow. Chuck. Thanks for the double dips to night here on Clipper Stock. My friend Yep, thanks for having me ups go clips coming up next. Back to your phone calls eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number Clippers dropped to thirty and fifteen on the season. We'll update you on the Western Conference standings

that's still to come. We will not go quie Land to the night. Yeah, it's a good, good line, good speech. Is the movie hold up now? Probably not, but it might be in so bad it's good territory, or at least watching it near the fourth of July. It's still fun. I'm at am Auslin. You're listening to Clippers hocky here on seventy LA Sports every Clipper game all season long. They didn't stop playing hard. You're listening to the LA Clippers Audio Network streaming on the iHeartRadio lap Ooh

baby, you what I need? Clippers got friend zone tonight. They didn't get the victory. At least they gonna leave Cleveland. I'm just kidding. Bob Smith's listening lovely place never been him. Anna Moslin, welcome back into Clipperstock. Clippers leave with their tail between their legs. They lose, doesn't have them very often. They've still won thirteen of their last sixteen ball games, twenty seven of their last thirty five, and twenty two of their last

twenty seven since December first. But they lose by ten to the Cavaliers, who played well, who had the size advantage, and not having Big Zoo was a problem for the Clippers tonight. They gave up eleven offensive rebounds. I feel like guys competed. But when Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are constantly having to guard Evan Mobley and Jared Allen out there a lot because Daniel Tice was pretty ineffective tonight, Mason Plumley off night from him too. That takes

something out of your legs as well well. Obviously Kawhi Leonard was okay with it, but Paul George, who's already dealing with a little bit of a groin injury, it may have had an effect. Let's start with now Jonathan in La your on Clipper Stock with Adam Mouslin after they lose one eighteen to one aw eight in Cleveland to the Cavaliers. Hi, Jonathan, Hey Adam, how's it going. No, you know, it's all right, man.

We have plenty more games to go, yes, sir, to be honest, man about Paul George. At the end of the day, man, it is what it is, and dude gave it us all. He is injured. I kind of wish he could sit one out for these upcoming games because last thing we need is another pretty bad injury. Knocking on what I feel like when he didn't have it going on offense, he tried to force the issue on defense, which that and like, you know, the whistle was kind of weird tonight, but I don't want to blame it on

that. Yeah, they didn't have a good But other other than that, man, society's like I said, we are missing Zoo and I'm a huge zoo. Stand I love big Zoo. But see you know ball, Jonathan, you know ball Yeah y KB, Yes, sir, But man, I got like I said, Man, it's just it's a bad, bad game. Like overall, it is what it is. We'll get it after. We're probably coming down off there a big win like we did from the Celtics. But it's all good. We haven't We have two easy games upcoming.

But other than that, man, go could go, go clips go. I appreciate the phone call there, Jonathan uh Mark and Haynton Beach. You're on clipper stock without a mouslin. Mark, how we doing? Hey? Like, okay, how's your feeling? No more chicken little soup and h what happy for you? Right? Even healthy? Right? You're talking about old stuff? Mark, Come on, I'm good to go. I took my multi item and my flat stone berry clippers. I think our clip

is going to use some chicken noodle soup tonight. But hey, I'll tell you what I saw that stuck out. I think they announced that at the very beginning of the fourth quarter Harden had like four points, and I said, what you know, because he's good for usually ten to fourteen points, and you know, I thought, okay, he's gonna get two or three threes here and get you know, get us right back into this. And it didn't really happen. So, you know, everyone had an off night

except for Kawhi. So I think that plus the size difference, plus like the other colleges said, you know, coming off the win, George being a little under like you can't win them all and we just post us up. Learn from your you know what you can from the Cleveland and you gotta see him again? Do they I don't think. Do they come out here? They must? And they do? You play everyone? Play everyone?

I got one. Okay, Now with the trade day, I got a question for you, with all your knowledge and expertise, do you see us yo? Yeah? Oh yeah? Do you see us maybe making any type of trade? I'm quite happy with the roster, or maybe a buy out after the trade deadline? What do you think? I want your opinion. I could see them going after a guy who can stretch the floor. Look, these guys aren't easy to find, so it may be difficult. But

if there was one thing this Clippers team may be missing. And don't get me wrong, they're fine as is, but if you want to shore up and shure up any possible issues down the line, it would be another wing that can play the four and five, maybe stretch the floor some, but definitely an athlete, a vertical threat, a rim runner and rebounder and a guy that can guard multiple positions. That would be nice. I know, maybe Nicholas Batoom or Robert Covington comes to mind. Well, you gotta give

to get. I think the trade with James Harden with the Philadelphia seventy six ers has worked out, and actually in that fourth quarter because I am just so knowledgeable, as you said, Mark, James Harden did do his best work. He had seven points and did knock down a couple of three pointers, so you weren't totally off. He was. He played better when it mattered. Most just wasn't enough and the Clippers had too many miscues overall.

Morrison Long Beach, Morris here on Clippers off with that Amazon, Yes, II, the Clippers. I don't care what the people say when they win or they lose. I don't ever because they are my team. Lord. That's it. I have a nice I guess thanks for the phone call, Wars. I like the energy and the spirit. Clipper Nation is coming with tonight, even after a loss. And it's because this team has built up

so much goodwill in equity that even when they do lose. I gotta tweet earlier at follow out of may Hey I'll take one loss every five games. That's that's not bad. You would sign up for that at the beginning of

the season. It's like an eight hundred winning percentage or something. The Clippers are still the hottest team in the league, but you do want to take advantage of games that are that close down the stretch where if just one other guy caught fire outside of Kawhi Leonard, it could have made the difference.

Now Detroit on Friday, the Wizards on Wednesday before that, the Clippers have plenty of opportunities to steal stack wins here on this road trip, as they're now thirty and fifteen and they fall behind the Denver Nuggets one game behind them. Clippers back in that four spot. Nuggets, though, taking on Giannis the Denna Koompo in Milwaukee Bucks later tonight. The game may be going on, but I ain't gonna counter program like that, so they lose. It

changes things. Oh and by the way, Minnesota and Oklahoma City are facing off as well, so some of the top teams at the peak of the West next to the Clippers are playing each other and they're gonna beat each other up, and the Clippers can just kind of like, you know, find the seam. What was the old Vince Lombardi a seal here to steal that. They can just run up the middle while these other teams are fighting it out and hopefully get to the top of the Western Conference by the time this

Grammy road trip is over. Because it's doable. It can be done. We can kill the bear. Sorry, they're not taking on Memphis too. It's just I like the movie The Edge. We got an our time out here, Katie. We'll take that. We'll come back. We'll hear from Coach Louke. Clippers lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers one eighteen to one eight. I'm at a Moslin and you'll listen to Clippers talk. You're on a M five to seventy LA Sports say say can kill the bear. Every Clipper game

all season long, they didn't stop playing hard. You're listening to the LA Clippers Audio Network streaming on the iHeartRadio app. Clippers losing Cleveland to the Cavaliers one eighteen to one oh eight. Their five game winning streak is broken. Start a new one. I mean it's that simple to you. Just started a new one. They got the Wizards coming up on Wednesday, they're in Detroit taking on the Pistons on front and yeah, I agree with the calls.

If you can't beat those teams without Paul George and give him some rest, well, then the Clippers probably aren't the team thought they were. Now you can have letdowns, everybody does. I mentioned those teams earlier, held the Denver Nuggets. They lost some bad games last year on their way to winning the championship. It happens throughout eighty two games, but the talent advantage would still be in their favor against Washington and against Detroit even without Paul George

greatly, even without Paul George, and he beats the Zubats. PG thirteen did say this. I have an update from law Murray, who joined me pregame he'll be with me again on Wednesday, that he plans to play unless the team decides he needs time off. Clippers don't have back to back games off until the trade deadline, Paul George said, just trying to get to the finish line. Yeah, so they may just be pushing it or kicking the can down the road. Seeing that. Okay, the All Star it's

close. We'll have multiple days off eventually. Here if he can just make it through this seven game road trip, he can get extra rest at some point. Toron Lu said this about PG thirteen. They appreciate him being out there quote playing through what he is playing through. Said that they appreciate him

playing and that if he needs to miss time, they understand. So he's saying unless the team tells him, and it sounds like from the other side, they're waiting to see if Paul George will tell them that he needs time off. So I don't know if it's a game of chicken. I'm sure they'll figure it out between the medical staff, Coach Lou, and Paul George. I'm not overly concerned with it. And it is admirable the way he has pushed through this groin injury and still made some good plays in this ballgame.

And still look, when you file out in the game and you're Paul George, that probably means you're trying to play hard and play defense. When you're PG thirteen and pick up six fouls in a ballgame, couple of them more pretty rough. Let's hear from Coach Lou though more on that post game after the Clippers lose by ten in Cleveland, to the Cavaliers. We appreciate

him be on the floor fighting through what he's going through. What is his restrictions, I'm not telling you, I know, so I'm gonna tell you

how many minutes? What's up? What'd you think from what you got from the bension at coffee and Norman particularly, I thought Russ Norman and the mirror were great, you know, like just just really you know, happy and prov of a mirror just to you know, continue to stay with it, I said, talked about the last couple of years of you know, not getting a chance, an opportunity, but the way he's played this year, we you know, gave him opportunity and he's been phenomenal. So I'm just

happy for all the work he's put in. It's it's paying off great defensively, you know, making shots, driving close outs. He's playing very well and so you know, our guys trust him on the floor and that's that's good to see. And he's getting more and more confidence, you know as a game has come along. So just very happy for a mirror and the work that Jeremy's put in with him, you know, over these last few years of just keeping them ready, keeping them engaged and like I said,

he's playing phenomenal. I like hearing a mirror coffee getting his flowers there. Now let's hear more from the Valley Sports sounders, the speaking of the Folder Soldier, as Brian Seman calls him, last ten games for a mere sixty seven percent from the field, fifty six percent from three. It's on low volume, but in some ways it makes it more impressive. When he gets his opportunities, he is making them, he is sinking them, and the

Clippers had a chance tonight because of him. Before we get out of here, I do want to bring on Katie Newton, our producer. It's time for Katie Newton's casual corner. Katie. What's up? Yeah? There, we play the sound then huh yeah, let's see here. Well we had some magnificent steak sandwiches today. Oh yeah, we're nice. Question, but still got me thinking. I know that you normally just take a protein shake. Here we go with you, but when if you like have to get

something into stadium, what do you go for? If I have to eat there? Yeah, if you'l like getting yourself and then you're like, you know what, I'm gonna get a treat mac and cheese hot dog. What else a mac and cheese hot Do you haven't had that at Crypto? No, you don't deserve them. Always here. We'll get you out there at some point. Oh it's delicious, all right. The hot dogs stand right

next to section one eleven, I mean Club Club one eleven. I'm sorry, thanks to big brother Jay Warner before we get out of here, thanks to the Clippers organization. Ralph Lawler, Brian Seaman, Noah Ego, Carlo Jimenez, on the call, producer Gayton Newton. Here the callers, the listeners until Wednesday, with the pregame show starting at the same time at three Clippers in DC taking on the Washington Wizards. I'm at a Maslin. We'll

talk to you then, ma. Why was doing his thing? All they want to do is win in LA When I thought they gave it everything they had. I'm very proud of them.
