Time for a postgame. Look, it's your LA Clippers. This is Clippers Locker Road, brought to you by Cedars Sinai, the official health partner of the LA Clippers, and by Patchonga, official travel casino of the LA Clippers. Breaking down today's action with the pre and post game voice. If you're

LA Clippers, They're locking in every game, every now. Adam Osland Clippers win one twenty seven to one sixteen over the Lakers in round three of the Battle of La Here in this twenty twenty three twenty twenty four NBA season. Welcome back into Crypto dot com arena. I'm out of Moslin. We got your postgame show, second half highlights coming up, your post game box score and more. But first let's head back over to your radio voice of the

Clippers in Carlo Jimenez. Well, with this victory, the Clippers take the all time Hallway series record over the Lakers, and I believe they won thirty seven of the last forty six against the Lakers, who did battle in this game without Lebron James. But the Clippers, they just out executed them in the last six minutes and stepped up when they needed to, and it was a lot from Kawhi Leonard on both ends of the floor. Carlos, Yeah,

he was doing it all. Adam eleven rebounds, ten assists, twenty five points, second career triple double, second triple double as a Clipper, and a big time win from him. Insert a little early. I'm sure ty Loo didn't plan on playing him thirty eight minutes, but he came in and showed why he's one of the bests in the NBA. His availability, I mean, just continues to be some This game thirty eight for Kawhi Leonard

with this team and we're playing game forty two. When you think about that for this Clipper organization, for this Clippers team, big time stuff down the stretch. They were fantastic at executing. They didn't turn the ball over as much as they originally did in those first couple of minutes of the fourth quarter and in the third quarter and clamp down late, and you wish that team

could show up for all forty eight minutes. Is that realistic of an expectation, I don't know, but it was fantastic to watch them get it done and get a win, because at the end of the day, Adam, the wins don't look a little. They don't have curly cues at the end. When you win pretty, they don't out count as point one one point one in the in the box score. When you win pretty, a win's a win, and the Clippers gotta win, you'll take it, especially because

they got a big time seven game Grammy road trip coming up. That is treacherous. But I felt like also in that fourth quarter helping them down the stretch was of course Norman Powell. He ended up with nine of his seventeen points in the fourth. This is the guy coming into this game that is shooting fifty seven percent from the field in the final period and fifty five percent from the outside, and I think just missed one shot in the fourth quarter

tonight. He's so good. I mean, what impressed me the most about Norman palace performance today? Adam just one three where he usually does most of his damage. He was getting to the rim and over the long length the arms of the six to ten Christian with the Cam Reddish and Jared Vanderbilt, the six to eight Rui Hachimura and the seven and the six' ten Anthony

Davis. He was getting those lamps to go and he was effective inside the restricted area despite giving up six to eight inches every time he drives the lane. It was fun to watch him pick apart this defense with his ability to

attack the rim. The Clippers finished with sixty eight points in a paint And while you mentioned it during the ball game, obviously the Lakers without Lebron James, but missing ofviatzuzubats that impact, that lack of impact you normally get from him, especially against Anthony Davis and the Lakers, it was felt out there. You could tell Mason Plumley struggled some. Daniel Tye is only six' eight and eventually coach lud just went small with Kawhi Leonard at center, and

he centered this team in some ways. You know when you need a bucket, when you need to calm down. When they were going through that stretch of just having turnover after turnover and just unforced miscues out there that really can't happen, it was Kawhi Leonard who settled this ball club down and show the leader that he has been in the two and three era, but especially this season with the amount of focus that he has had on doing something that's never

been done before. For this franchise which is winning a championship. Yeah, he really does bring an extra level of calmness to the offense when he's out there. I mean, this is a Clipper team that continues to play so so well when he is a part of the offense and creating all that attention, directing traffic with his assists. Even being a defensive stalwork, Kawhi Leonard continues to make an effect. A pair of steals today, a block for the Clippers, big time stuff for the Claw Adam, and he did it

all without committing a foul. The balance of that to be a great defender against Anthony Davis and pour in a triple double, that is just not a lot of guys in the NBA can do something like that. Kawhi Leonard continued to show why he's here to lead this team to a long, long run come playoff time. He affects the game in every way I thought. Terrence Man actually early on, just like last game, got them off to a good start. He got a couple of buckets, ended up at one point

he was seven for seven after missing his first take. As you mentioned, Carlo, he ends up seven to ten seventeen points. Though for team man and doing some of those little things those hustle players out there, cutting to the basket, getting them easy buckets and also helping them get into transition. Yeah, he continued to be an effective player on the defensive end, pushed

the ball on offense, so efficient on the offensive end. I think one thing Terrence Man is figuring out is there's a lot of opportunities that have beats

the Zubats had. Where you're cutting to the rim in about that six to eight foot area in the paint, You're gonna get a lot of touches there because of the attention that guys like PG and Kawhi and James direct that there's pockets of space and defenses, and if you're able to feather in a couple finishes in that eight to ten foot range, you can find a lot of

success. That's what Terrence Man did today. He got the soft spots of the zone, almost like a wide receiver trying to find the pockets of defense on his own defense down the field. Terrence Man found those pockets and was able to finish in the blind spots and he was great at being efficient.

Just a big time performance from him. Clippers needed it today. With the way this Laker offense was scoring on the other end, they needed to outscore them, and they did that today, a big one to twenty seven from this seam. Terrence Man over his last ten games in twenty twenty four, was shooting fifty five percent from three. He went two to four from the

outside. The law of averages is coming into effect. After a rough start to the season some cold shooting, Terrence Man has been uber hot from the outside. Clippers go on to win one twenty seven to one sixteen over the Lakers here at Crypto dot com. Arena Clippers now improve to twenty eight and fourteen on the season. Their next seven ballgames, though, were out on the road, starting in Toronto. It's in a different country even that'll be

on Friday. Kawhi Leonard knows that spot very well, his old stomping grounds where he brought them a championship back in twenty nineteen. We'll have tip off at four thirty. Your pregame show Clippers countdown starting at three thirty. Carlo, my friend, won't see you for a couple of weeks. Great call, Safe travels. We'll talk to you on Friday. I will be I'll miss you, Adam, but I can't wait to hear your voice Friday in Toronto. Big one for the Clippers when you know who's waiting in the wings.

Yeah, the Boston Celtics on Saturday at home. Not gonna be easy. Best team in the East that has only lost once at home so far this season. Clippers win by eleven over the Lakers. the phone number. Let's get to second half highlights. Clippers led at the half seventy seven to sixty four. In the third quarter was two point three doing work. Kawaiian Leonard is the painting retreats flips the back count for Leonard, who's got Grieves on the switch rip. They're going left with sixty shoes crossed over the right hand. Pop to jumper in that f he still can't miss. Eight three Oh, He's gonna have to get busy. It's dead

Here come the Clippers. Leonard right block goes up. It's found the open harm

So they both had seven points in that third quarter. The problem was the Lakers outscored him by four thirty three twenty nine. Heading into the fourth it was just a nine point lead for your Los Angeles Clippers. After a three pointer to end the third by a mere coffee, it was one o six to ninety seven. But to help put the Lake show away, it was Kawhi, Leonard and Norm Pale left angled, Norman Path flying to the rim,

don't up up and in Powell has eight points. Bounce fast to Leonard showed away, crossed over the right hand double team comes a claw left over pump bake. Davis flies by, kicks at Norman Pale with board a shoot right wing three ball bingo Norman Powell from downtown left wing, Norm open got

him out of three grinds. The right alley hops up through trap MC the left ended lampot for a window and in dribbling with the left hand switched on by Reeves, crossing over against Davis takes it into the paint pure Lex votes it up, vaulted in Kawhi Leonard the closer twenty five tonight one twenty four, one pointeen Clippers, and the Clippers would go on to win one twenty seven to one sixteen after Norman Powell had nine points in the fourth quarter.

Kawhi with some crucial buckets, including two big free throws after he went switch a Rooin mid air left to right for the layup, couldn't get to go Drew the foul knocked them both down. Had just four points, but twenty five points for the ball game, elevenards and ten assists, just the second triple double of his career, both of them coming while wearing a Clippers jersey. Clippers go on to win by eleven with the final score of one twenty

the all time winning record in the Hallway series. Here in this building, going back to when it was called Staples Center, which was like a year ago. Welcome back in I'm Madam Mosland. You're listen to your Clippers postgame

locker room show. Coming up. We'll have Clippers Talk on M five to seventy LA Sports eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number A little good and bad in the box score in this one, Clippers had fifteen turnovers, leading to twenty two points for the Lakers. Seven of them came in the fourth quarter.

They were giving them extra possessions, extra opportunities. The Lakers ended up getting up four more shots than the Clippers in a game where they attempted ten more free throws. That's also because they had thirteen offensive rebounds. Clippers were out rebounded on the offensive boards thirteen to six. Overall, they won the rebounding battle thirty to twenty eight, but that's a big number. Now the

Clippers were playing small Lakers had a d of course. He finished with twenty six and twelve, and D'Angelo Russell another game right at his average over the last five coming into this one, he was getting twenty seven. He lands at twenty seven, nine to twenty one, four of ten from the outside. But when the Clippers had to have it late after it was just a

two point game at oneh eight to one oh six. After D'Angelo Russell got a bucket at the nine to sixteen mark of the fourth quarter, the Clippers started to pull away and it was mister fourth quarter Norm Powell, who had a layup right afterwards, then a three pointer. Then the Clippers overturned a call on a foul that was I think on Norm underneath the basket they were battling. They just right a size disadvantage. It's what happens. But I

like the fight in this team, and with Kawhi playing center. While you would have loved to see Mason Plumley play better, I thought he had a rough ball game. Daniel Tice as well. Kawhi held it down the back line defense. That was all him. He was the last line of defense out there in late He was spectacular. He ended up with one of his steals in the fourth quarter after the Clippers had turned it over. I think

was a Paul George turnover. He had a couple of rough ones. Was actually pulled in the fourth quarter, maybe because he had three of his four turnovers. It just had an off night, even though he was eight of twelve. It just felt very up and down from Paul George. He never really caught a rhythm. Still had seventeen points, still had five boards,

three assists, but four turnovers. Sloppy played by the Clippers overall, but they overcome it with hot shooting, where they were at sixty percent from the field. Actually we'll call it fifty nine point one percent from distance, they were at fifty two percent. Though. This team continues to shoot the lights out from distance, and they only took twenty seven threes but hit fourteen of

them. This offense is special, best offense in the game going back over the last fifteen games in the NBA, nobody has been better, and so that gives you a wider margin for error to make up for some of these mistakes, to make up for the Clippers or the Lakers. I should getting ten more free throws attempted and those fifteen turnovers leading to twenty two points for

the Lakers. Clippers come through, they win by eleven, and they have won the Hallway Series here at Crypto dot Com arena, and thirty seven of the last forty six meetings against the Lakers have gone the Clippers way. Pretty unbelievable. Outside of Los Angeles, we will be leaving you as the Clippers head out embark on a seven game road trip starting in Toronto on Friday, tip off at four thirty pregame show starting at three point thirty. Outside of

Los Angeles. We'll talk to you then in LA. It's Clippers Talk next. Hello Clippers fans. If you're gonna go for it, if that's what you want to do, you do Welcome the Clippers Talk. Adam Osley, I don't know if the Battle of Los Angeles is over. It

could be to be concluded or to be continued later on. But tonight the Clippers win one twenty seven to one sixteen over the Lakers, and they have the all time winning record here at Crypto dot Com arena in the Battle of Los Angeles between the Clippers and Lakers formerly known as Staples Center, Welcome in a Clippers talk. I'm at a Oslin. Eight sixty six nine eight seven

two five seventy. Eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number after the Clippers win by eleven over the Lakers in a game that was lupis sloppy. Clippers had fifteen turnovers, Lakers ended up getting up four more shots than the Clippers, and I didn't think the Clippers played a clean basketball game, to say the least. They outtalented the Lakers, who were without Lebron James, Clippers without a Visa Zubats, and they were missing him

tonight. Not the first time. I want to say, this is just the third victory when Kawhi and Paul George are available, but a Viza Zubats is not. Now some of that speaks to a Viza Zubats in his health and how reliable he has been over the years and his availability, but when you're missing that defensive anchor, and Mason Plumbley was struggling the way he was out there nineteen minutes, zero points, just two boards. Was having trouble

with Anthony Davis, as everyone has this season. He has been a monster. It's unreal that the Lakers are a game under five hundred with him not missing many. Lebron Outside tonight hasn't missed many, but Daniel Tye is undersized, and in twenty minutes he was just one of three minus two out there three points, five personal fouls, two boards. So they just didn't have the beef the size to match up with the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis.

Who's a matchup problem for everyone. But if it's a zubots I thought the last time out in the game the Clippers lost outplayed him at twenty boards. He always makes life tough on ad. So one of the themes in this show is gonna be big. Zoo is missed. His impact is missed. Maybe he didn't see as much either other night with the Clippers going small and coming through against the Nets with that twenty two to zero run. But

when they go small tonight. It's Kawhi Leonard playing center against a Lakers team with a ton of size that would end up getting thirteen offensive rebounds. The other theme Clippers can't turn the ball over like this. They can't be that sloppy with basketball. I'm looking at Paul George and Russell Westbrook. This was the ultimate Russ roller coaster type game where it was either a turnover or made three, one of them made with a shoe off. The first one shoeless.

Russ knocked down a three pointer when one of his shoes flew off. He ended up three or three from the outside. But three turnovers and some mislayups once again at the rim that are basically turnovers. They get the other team in transition quickly and you're down a man now. The Clippers still beat him in that area twenty two to eighteen in fast break points, and they beat him up in the paint. Overall, the Clippers had sixty eight points

to the Lakers sixty, which is pretty much their average. But I'm a little bit disappointed because they had forty four points in the paint. At the half, Clippers led seventy seven sixty four twenty four minutes in and that third quarter was just really poorly played. The Clippers only had four turnovers in the first half, they had four in the third quarter alone, and it gave

the Lakers life. And I'm not trying to be overly harsh here because you have games like this, but we know what the goal is for this Clippers team and to win a championship. Now, getting the dubbed tonight is the most important thing, especially when you're going on a seven game road trip coming up. Beating the Lakers, who had beat you twice is the most important thing. But yeah, we're gonna talk about some of the things they can

clean up because this team has room to grow. Their potential has not been met yet. It's not even close what they're able to do with four Hall of famers. With the guys in Cyndiaria's Norman Powell, who once a kid, had nine points in the fourth quarter and I think missed just one shot in the fourth. He has been so good. Yeah, four or five in the fourth quarter, finished with seventeen points off the bench plus ten but

timely, timely buckets. I mentioned it on the network post game. It was a two point game after D'Angelo Russell made it so at one O eight to one O six when the Clippers had led by sixteen. Lakers got it down to two with nine minutes left. Norn Poc comes right back, turns the corner, gets a quick layup, then knocks down a three pointer. The thing gets called for a foul that wasn't as it was overturned after coach

Luke challenged it. Paul George would get a bucket to go off a nice feed from Kawhi Leonard, who I felt like not just because he got the triple double, was easily the best player on the floor tonight on both ends and had some really impressive moves. He had a tough layup on a d that you just don't see very often because Anthony Davis in his rim protection elite. And he drew a foul in the fourth where he switched hands after a burst to the basket in mid air like he was Jordan in ninety one.

He got fouled, he didn't get the layup to go, he knocked down the free throws, just had four points in the fourth quarter, but they were big, and after that the Clippers were back up by eleven, and he felt like they were in full control. Terrence Man had a three pointer that I thought was going to be the dagger after he had another really nice ball game shooting wise, that spinned out in the fourth, but after missing his first shot, he would hit his next seven. Team Man finished seven

for ten seventeen points and got off to a quick start again. Just like against Brooklyn. They're down sixteen to oh Terrence Man had nine points in the first quarter, provided a spark for them. You need that out of him. Maybe he had two threes in the far side corner and went to a four from the outside overall, but he had a layup in transition early on after a Daniel Tice block, a layup off a really nice Kawhi bounce pass

in the third quarter, finding Man cutting to the basket. If you watch him in the half court while he's in the starting lineup, next two three Hall of famers in Kawhi PG and James Harden terrors Man's movement and the threat he can be from the outside when he's starting to shoot it well again. In the last ten games, he was shooting fifty five percent from three on three attempts per game, and tonight he goes two to four from the outside,

so it's coming around that thirty eight percent career shooting average. And some people said, well, that's on low volume. That's not who he is. That's who he is. He got off to a slow start as he usually does. Now he's been really hot and much more confident. He had a play where he turned down a three point or for a scoop layup on the interior that I liked. Also, it was impressive because he can get to the basket. Last season, I think he was top three and finishing

around the rim percentage wise. I'm talking about up there with Steph Curry, guys that are just so good with great touch around the rim. So man, another good ball game. I mentioned Russell Westbrook in the Russ experience. He comes in immediately gets a layup, then a mini off the glass, but there were some tough turnovers. Now he would hit a three with his shoe off and that should have counted for four, but he then gets an and one layup and was on his own six to zero run to end that

first quarter. I believe he had a dunk to start the second that got the crowd into it. Found out James Harden for a three pointer early in the second quarter. But the problem is when he misses those layups where he is just flying towards the rim, they often end up in dunks on the other end. That happened multiple times in the third quarter. He was just going too fast for his own Good smoked the layup ad dunk on the other end, but he hit a three pointer. Russ got a golten on Rui

in the third one point. Looked like he got banged up. We're gonna monitor that. Did have another turnover, but you take the good with the bat. Seventeen minutes, sixteen points, three assists, the three turnovers I don't like, and just six of eleven from the field, and most of those misses we're at the basket. I wish you'd just throw it down because the athleticism is still there. If you haven't noticed, he's like that.

It's not just Lebron James defying age and beating father time. Eulsell Westbrook doing the same. Norn Pal though those nine points in the fourth quarter were big, but he had a transition layup early in the first quarter and make up with about three minutes left in the first a nice floater in the second. He just seems to save his best for last though, and the Clippers have been doing that. When it comes to closing out quarters better, that has

been I don't know if it's a point of emphasis. I'm sure it is. It hasn't been in past years two, but the message has been received. They are much better closing out quarter. So a mere coffee that three pointer at the end of the third, you take a game to a nine point lead when they led by just six. That's a big shot, and a mirror would end up going three of three from distance three or four.

Overall, and he has been very reliable since getting back into the starting lineup, well getting back into the rotation, I should say by getting into the starting lineup. There have been a couple blessings in the skies for this Clippers team. Mason Plumley goes down against the Knicks, they bring in Daniel Tice. Now you lose a viatsa Zubots, but you have those two guys. They struggled tonight, they got to play better, but overall that's big for

this team. The other one was when Paul George went out for a couple of games all of a sudden, the mirror got back into the rotation. He was starting and been he's been earning minutes since. I think it was the game in Dallas where he got the start and Kawhi took over late. What else is new? Kawhi Leonard helped them close out this one, get to triple double twenty five points eleven of sixteen shooting, plus eleven boards and

ten assists. Before we break here, Wes and Eagle Rock. You're on Clippers stock without a mouslin after they win one forty seven to one to sixteen here at Crypto over the Lakers. What's up, Wes, Hey, Adam, thanks for having me, first time caller, longtime listener, A big fun of what you do and with the podcast and stuff too. Just coming out of the game right now, Man, it feels good beating. It always does, and it had been a while because they lost the first two

games. You know that was uncharted territory. After winning eleven straight against the Lakers, the Clippers dropped their first two. Yeah, it's very funny how they always want to talk about history, about the banners and stuff like that, but then once they get two wins on us, it's always about how they're dominating us and they don't remember the long season long streaks that we've been

having beaten on them every time. And I also wanted to say I was in Section two oh six during the game, and that entire row that I was in was all Lakers stands, and they had noticed that I was wearing my Russell Westbrook jersey and they were going ahead and giving me all the typical Russell Westbrook stuff and making fun of them and all that as he proceeded to drop those three three So it was pretty fun being able to get at them

as he was able to get those in. Oh, I'm sure that felt good for Russell Westbrook too, knocking down those three pointers, the shot they didn't want him taking. But when they're going and they're leaving him open like that and you knock down your first two, as my friend Dime Dropper would say, yeah, you gotta take that third shot, and he went three or three, As you mentioned, Wes another Clippers victory over the Lakers.

They have won thirty seven of the last forty six games in this Hallway series, where they now have the old time record for wins head to head in this building over the Lakers as the Clippers head into into a dome next season. Eight sixty six ninety seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number. We will take a quick time out.

We'll come back. We'll get to your phone calls. Clippers win one twenty seven to one sixteen over the Lakers before they head out on that Grammy road trip. Next seven games on the roads, starting in Toronto on Friday and then in Boston on Saturday. That is a brutal back to back. We're gonna see the team that has just one loss at home on the season.

It was reason one too, so you know they're upset. More Clipperstock next year on five seventy LA Sports, the LA Clippers continue there hunt for a Lario B. They still want to get that Lario B. Don't miss a moment all season longed. This is the LA Clippers Audio Network. Clippers win one twenty seven to one to sixteen over the Lakers. Here at Crypto dot com, a Reno welcome back into Clipperstock, the official postgame show off

your Los Angeles Clippers. I'm at a Moslin eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number. Kawhi Lennett twenty five points, eleven boards, tenn assists, just the second triple double of his career, but he is a special, special player and win eleven of sixteen from the field after hitting his first eight shots. It was a Kawhi jumper to start over Rui. Then he blocked a

d It was a ridiculous block. Rearview, can test another Midi. A jumper over Van Doh was great. Defense didn't matter. A Kawhi hook shot over two players, another media over Ruey in the second a tough reverse on ad that I brought up earlier. Just you don't see that stuff very often. In the third quarter, Kawhi, you got the switch on Reeves barbecue chicken fade away in iso on Austin again, got a push shot and then beat his man down the floor front and one after an Austin Reeves three pointer.

But it was that move that ended up with free throws in the fourth quarter that had me going, Oh, Kawhi is feeling real good because he jumped from way out, just had a ton of steam going to the basket and switched it from his left hand to his right. He got fouled, missed it. It would have been top ten Sports Center number one maybe if he had made that shot, made the free throws. While we have a moment, let's pause ten seconds for station I did here in Los Angeles Clippers

Audio Network. This is LA Clippers Basketball AM five to seventy KLAC Los Angeles ninety eight seven, kys R HD two Los Angeles and iHeartRadio station. Clippers win by eleven over the Lakers. Here at Crypto final score one twenty seven to one sixteen. Let's get back out to the phones. Man Ryan, Santa Anita or Santanna? Ryan, what's up here? On Slippers soup for that? I'm also, hey, how's it going? Yeah, Sanana, not Santa Anita. Hey got it. You just wanted to give you your

flowers. You guys are awesome. On Clifson did and I'm a long time listener, first time caller, and I just wander. I was just I'm coming back from the game right now. Clippers played amazing. Kawhi did a triple double. Love it. My only concern was like, how can we fix the rebounding because we were getting out rebounded like crazy, and that's the only concern I have I think, I mean, other than Vita being out. I think we should be all right when he comes back. But that's

still a big concern that like that we face. I think we won't have to face that with the Raptors, like later on with Boston and stuff, we might have that issue. Yeah, no doubt. And there's no way to replace the productivity of a Vita Zubas. That's just the way it is.

Clippers got out rebtded forty one to thirty six thirteen to six, though on offensive rebounds, Lakers with a lot of extra opportunities that kept them in the ballgame, along with the fifteen turnovers by the Clippers leading to twenty two points. When you outshoot a team by eleven percent, which the Clippers did fifty eight percent for the Lakers, you would have expected a larger disparity in

the final score. They still won by eleven, but it was a two point game with nine minutes left, and I don't think the Clippers were close to playing their best. Give the Lakers some credit. They've been playing better. They had one three or four. D'Angelo Russell has been averaging twenty seven now Oprah his last six games, they didn't have Lebron James, and they tried to battle with the Clippers, who I think just ended up out talenting

them for the most part. They worked them a few times, but it came down to the Lakers having the talent advantage tonight, the Clippers having the talent advantage. I should say over the Lakers. Let's go to what else we got here? Lenny and Inglewood. Lenny, you're on Clippers off without am alson? What's up? Lenny? What's up? Adam? You know I'm never gonna bad Mount Lebron because that's might die. But I wish he'd have been there to night so he could have got some of that, because

I don't like people saying that's the only reason why we've beat them. We've been beating them for the last three years consistently, and when you have DiAngelo put up thirty and and ad play the game. They had a chance to win that game. They weren't out of it. It's not like enough we'd beat him by twenty thirty. That's different, but you know they wanted that game bad. I can't say enough about Tyler Man Tyler has just got nerves

of steel. There's sometimes when Rush gets in there and he has that first tone over it's like, oh my god, here we go and he stays with him and you're looking for Harden. But Tyler knows what he's doing. Man, He's just And I love the fact in the pregame your guy said he put it on him on this road trip. We fully expect to go six and want it best, five into it worse. And that's what's up.

And we need to put the rum around. Now. There's somebody on Boston who was talking about Paul George's family because he needs to go in there with a chip on his shoulder because we can't have that game he had tonight. Man, we got to go into Boston. We got to take that one from them. I don't care if Zubak is not there. We can get it done. Yeah. Coffee exceptional. My guy Norm Powell. I just can't say enough about Norm power. Man. No, Norm powab needs

to retire a Clipper. Bamber needs to tell him that you you riding with us until until it's over. This team, I just love this team, man. I just I can't say enough. In the past I used to win. When players used to be out, I just I didn't care because I just want to stack the wins. But now I want to play everybody full strength, other team at their best, full strength, because I just want to see how good we are and how good we can get it. So, you know, yeah, we're coming up on a really, really

good road trip. It's gonna be tough, but I love what Tyler said. Man put it on six and one, five and two, let's go, let's get it money and Inglewood. Yeah, that was earlier pregame. Carlo Jimenez, your radio voice of the Clippers, talking with coach Lou The goal is to go six and one on the seven game road trip. He put a number on it, puts your name on it. He put a

number on it. I like that. That's confidence, that's understanding who you are and the position they're in with four Hall of famers and the team around them, and the way they've been playing. The Clippers now have won twenty five of their last thirty two ball games and twenty of their last twenty four and eleven of their last thirteen. I think I got all three right. I'm from Russell Westbrook. Three for three from three in this game, as

he was the only issue in this game. Well, it wasn't really this game. In the Western Conference standings earlier, Okase one on a game winner over Portland and the Denver Nuggets won late two, two teams in front of them. Now Clippers got some help as Charlotte took down Minnesota last night. So the Clippers are one and a half game back of all three of those teams. If they want the number one seed, Yeah, they're probably gonna have to go six and one on this road trip. It's possible with the

way this team has played. Let's go Marvin in downtown Los Angeles. You're on Clipper South with that, I'm austin. They had a great win by the Clippers, even if they didn't have Lebron James the Lakers, but if it would have been the other way around with the Clippers, they wouldn't feel sorry for us. I want to highlight Amir Coffee his play. He's a

surprise. We know the players for the Clippers from last season, even the acquisition of Hearted what we're going to expect, but Coffee has been the surprise. He has filled the shoes of Marcus Morris since the trade being confident, three and D and the last play you can see Kawhi Leonard showing confidence when he got the triple a double by the FRONTI assist in the third three pointer by Amir Coffee. Paul George he had an off night, but he'll bought.

I just want her to be oppressive and shooting the ball, get a chance for a rebound instead of turning it over and get nothing from it. And last will not least, Adam, you're now salty, like Fred said, but like Petro says, you're great, the great, Adam Austin, thank you all right. I appreciate the phone call there, Marvin. I can be a little salty. Katie Newton just reminded me of that in my ear and me repeating it on the air confirms that I can be a little

bit salty. Fred ain't wrong. I got a little bit salt in my hair now too. Clippers win by eleven over the Lakers. You mentioned Paul George there, Marvin, it just didn't feel like he had a great rhythm to this one. Now he had his moments. Second quarter, he had a dunk on a blowby on band. That's a matchup that I've been watching where Paul George seems to like being guarded by Vanderbilt, who nobody really does.

I mean, he's one of the better defenders in the league, but the Van Laurien Uh, Paul George seems to I don't know half his number. He also went around a d for a dunk with a minute left in that second quarter and just barely got it up and over. So both two, one, three. Not afraid of Anthony Davis. And I'll say this for Paul George. On a night where he had four turnovers, he only took two three pointers. He was one of two. Maybe you'd like to

see him get up more, but he was aggressive. He did get to the basket, and he had a three in the third, the one he made top of the arc off some great ball movement, and then a long two on Austin Reeves right afterwards. So he had his moments there, here and there. It's just the turnovers. Can't have three turnovers in the fourth quarter. That gave the Lakers life. That was their only chance to get back in this ball game, and they had opportunities, believe me, two

point game with nine minutes left. No ho what coach darbn Ham said post game, but they might be feeling good about this one and their effort. Overall, Clippers still win and they stay winning. They've won twenty five of their last thirty two ball games. That is since the starting lineup change. This team is special. They need Big Zoo back. They're not gonna have

him on this road trip. They got to figure it out, hunker down, get in that fox hole, develop even better chemistry and camaraderie, and find a way to rally around the injury to Big Zoo and say, we're gonna figure this out together with the guys we have on this road trip. Because if they could go six and one, you may see him at the top of the Western Conference before the All Star break. It is very possible. Eight sixty six nine, eight seven two, five seventy. We will

take a quick break, will come back. You'll hear from Russell Westbrook post game. He finished with sixteen points on six of eleven shooting, six boards, three assists, three turnovers. But Russ definitely brought that energy as always, and guys speed off of it. It's a real thing, those intangibles. You can see it with Russ. It plays out that way I'm Adam Mosland. I still gonna see that our guy Phil Lord? Did it? Am? I right? Katie? What the hell am I thinking? You do? Play the Danger song? Though Clippers win by eleven, Spider sense is going crazy with this team right now. They have won twenty five of their last thirty two to twenty of twenty four and eleven of their

last thirteen. Clippers take down the Lakers tonight. They win the all time Hallway series in this building. It is secure. They have won more matchups against the Lakers than the Lakers have against them. Here at Crypto formerly known as Staples Center. Welcome back in to Clippers Stock. I'm out of Monsland. Eight six six ninety eight seven two five seventy eight six six ninety seven two five seventy is the phone number I want you to hear from Russell Westbrook

post game on TNT. Was it amateur night? Did they have Charles Barklay. Did they have Shaq? Did they have Kenny the Jet Smith and Ernie Johnson. I don't know. Someone on the court, something on the wing, someone on the court, oh the wingers basketball. Let's hear from Russell Westbrook post game on the NBA on TNT of Russell Westbood russ Man about the keys to win it tonight, grinding it out. Man's announced out the game, But adversity, we stuck together. I did a great job of playing

together defensively, closing out the game in the right way. So have we got this win? And get ready to go on the road and rush yourself again another official night pushing the ball, being relentless Russless. It was something you told me. You talk about defensive last week, you told explains let everybody know what that means. First scene. Man, I've been really locked in defensively a garden every single night. And like I said, like I

told you last time, there's not many times I get scored on. I'm taking pride in that and making sure I'm coming in and setting the tones for my team defensively. So I'm gonna keep doing that every single night. Russ. I want to set you up for that. Man, when you think about the groove that you got your clippers in right now, just tell me what is the ceiling for this team? Man? I think for us, man were taking day by day. I know we got so much talent in

this room. We got so many great Hall of famers in his locker room, and our job is to make sure that every night we keep chipping away shipping them that ultimate going as the championship. Russ, I'm disappointed, man, you didn't congratulate me. Man, You've been here a long time. That's why I congratulates you. On the fortieth seasons. Hide that of Russ.

Congratulations. Team Russ is cold with it there again after Chris Haynes, who does a fabulous job one of my favorites NBA Insider reporter with the postgame interview there with Russ. Russ finished with sixteen points on six of eleven shooting, but he brought up his defense there. He wants to be considered for all NBA First team and when guys are only shooting forty one point eight percent against you in those individual matchups, you probably should be. He's been very

good defensively. He has taking up the challenge he sacrifices to come off the bench. He's playing a different role. He's trying to fill in some of the cracks. The ball's not in his hands as much. Gotta do some small, small picking rolls out there when the Clippers go small like they did against Brooklyn to be successful. I really like Russ in this role because they need his energy and that's what a guy should be bringing off the bench.

That makes sense. It fits his playing style, and he has been very affective for this team. With taken a little bit of a back seat after the Clippers just couldn't make it work with the starting four with him next to James Hard and Paul George Kawhi, Anda Vita Zubats and all the numbers say it just hasn't been that successful. But they might have found something recently with putting those four next to Norman Powell. There might be something to that because

then you have another shooter out on the floor. So when Russ can be seen as a liability there or teams play off of him. Even though tonight he was three or three from the outside, you can still spread the floor if you have someone like Norman Powell next to James Harden, you could shoot

it from three next to Kawhi next to Paul George. I'm interested to see and I'm sure we'll see more of the all out four Hall of Famer lineup on this road trip coming up. And I'm just wondering if Tinker and Ty has found something he likes with Russ Harden, PG Kawhi next to Norn Powell. More on that. One more break here, we'll come back. We'll get to your phone calls eight sixty six nine e seven two five seventy eight six six ninety seven two five seventy After the Clippers win one twenty seven to

one sixteen over the Lakers. Here at Crypto dot Com arena, I'm outa Mosland and you're listening to clipperstock here on NI seventy LA Sports. The LA Clippers continue there hunt for a larryob. They still want to get that larryo be don't miss a moment all season long. This is the LA Clippers Audio Network. Clippers eventually put the Lakers away. They win and once twenty seven to one sixteen, they put the Hallway Series away regular season and had to

have matchups in this building. The Clippers now have more wins against the Lakers, and it's secure no matter what happens in that fourth game that will also technically be a Clippers home game. Welcome back into clipperstock. I'm out a Mosland. Saw some quotes coming out from coach Loop post game. I agree with this. He said they didn't play a good mental game this evening quote,

we just got to continue to keep getting better quote. Once Lebron was out, I didn't think we had the right mental mindset coming into the game. It showed That's what I talked about early on. I wasn't trying to be harsh, but they were playing down to competition to a degree without Lebron James out there. Now, they still finished with the season high sixty eight points in the paint tonight. Justin Rousseau let me know that at fly by

Night. And here's a little something concerning Paul George still dealing with a groin injury. That's why he was pulled late in the game. So it sounds like he was on some minutes restriction. He ended up on twenty nine minutes, so it was probably at thirty PG thirteen said postgame quote. It was something that reaggravated from last game, just trying to be ahead of it. A little sore, but I was fine enough to lace it up and give it a go tonight. So last game, it was Kawhi Leonard playing through

illness. Tonight it was Paul George playing through a lingering groin issue. Now I think you can say he also gave the Lakers credit. So they played well. I thought they intentionally played fast and tried to throw us off. I thought it got us out of matchups and got us scrambling to find matchups. And I thought we stayed poised and we did our job to finish the

game out. And that's the truth. At the end of it. You just want to see the Clippers come through with a victory against a team that's down, against a team that is under five hundred at twenty two and twenty. In the Lakers, they're in the ninth spot, they're in playing territory. So if they did meet in the playoffs right now, as the Clippers just crossed the midway point of the season, it would look like a first

round matchup. Now that would be a true battle of Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers in the first round, not exactly the Western Conference finals we were all hoping for when Ad went to the Lakers with Lebron and Kawhi and Paul George came here. But that collision course may still be in effect. Currently, the Clippers in that fourth spot at twenty eight and fourteen, but they're just a game and a half out of being in the one spot. All three

teams ahead of them tied okay see Minnesota. Denver. Clippers have to take advantage of this stretch and like coach Lou said, go six and one. He put a number on it, five and two at worst. But they're trying to go six and one on the seven game road trip starting in Toronto on Friday, but it's a back to back where they take on Boston the next day. Not easy to say. The least Boston has lost once at

home they're the best team in the East. Then Cleveland on Monday, they've won I want to say, thirteen of fifteen, even with Evan Mobley out. Then you can say it's a bit of a reprieve. You got a game against the Washington Wizards in d C, who were in disarray, and then a game against Detroit on the road. Then they close it out with a back to back in Miami in Atlanta. Let's see to Miami. Make any news. Oh yeah, they just brought in Terry Scarry Rosier. That's

a good pickup for them. He's a baller, he's a bucket. He has some of that Reggie Jackson game in him where he can take ore. It looked like the best player on the floor any given night. He is special and they were looking for somebody as they missed out on the Damian Lillard sweepstakes. Looks like they got some help for Jimmy Butler and bam One Bio and Tyler Herro and those guys. So it is a tough road trip,

but the Clippers are built for it. They go six and one, there will be no more doubt, no more doubt ters like Kendrick Perkins in the bunch talking about this team and saying, well, I don't believe in them. I don't trust James Harden trust this. Since they brought Russ off the bench, they've won twenty five to their last thirty two ball games. Clippers win one twenty seven to one sixteen. Before we get out of here, let's get to big brother Jake Warner. Big Brother Jake podcast on the Podcast

one network. What's up, bro? What's going on? Man? I know you're also known as the fake Philosopher? Yes, sir, and the Clippers are about to embark on this seven game road trip. Can you give us some sanguine advice here? Yes, I can. You can't finesse a genuinely good person. It's in their nature to be who they are. You only finesse yourself out of having access to them. You know, Carlo is genuinely good. Absolutely, I'm chaotic evil. That is also true. You

can't finesse this never. I like it. The Clippers hopefully have that same character, that indomitable spirit, so they got to show it on the road. Now be Unbreakable.
