Clippers beat the Grizzlies 135-129

Transcript

The game is over. Paul George money in the pain, but the postgame reaction has just be gone. GOHI Leonard is so smooth in the mid range. This is Clippers locker Roo, a recap of today's game and a look ahead on your home for La Clippers Basketball at now your host, You,

sir, are a bad man, Adam Oslin. Staring at the possibility of their worst loss of the season, the Clippers come through with flying colors and have an unreal fourth quarter where they held the Memphis Grizzlies to just nine points in the final nine minutes, and they go on to win one thirty five to one twenty nine in classic Clippers come back fashion. Welcome in your postgame show. I'm Adam Oslin coming up. We will have second half highlights,

we will have fourth quarter highlights for you. We'll get to your final box score. You'll hear from coachlu and the player. But first back to your voice of the Clippers, Noah Eagle, who also performed at the highest level at the end of this one and rose to the occasion once again, Big brother Jake with the applause. Noah, I gotta believe and we'll find out soon on Wednesday. But if they start to roll some wins together, this will be the game you'll look back upon and say it like you did.

Something was born out of this night, no doubt about it. So let's just go through a couple of things here, Adam, a couple of stats that really encapsulate what happened here tonight. Clippers outscore the Grizzlies thirty eight to seventeen and the fourth quarter after getting outscored fifty one to thirty in the third quarter, So they get outscored by twenty one. They then deliver the same pain back the other way, which is almost unheard of. They outscore the

Grizzlies twenty eight to eight in the final eight forty four. But maybe even more impressively, the Clippers are the first team to win a game after giving up fifty points in the quarter since nineteen ninety one, twenty two years excuse me, thirty two years since that has happened. I was told no one ever scored fifty points in a quarterback that I've been lied to. You have you have been lied too, But all is to say you set up before.

The Clippers always seem to have the best when their best is required when their back is against the wall. Let's think about it, two years ago, how many comeback wins? Last year? How many comeback wins? But more importantly, the playoff run from two years ago, down o two to Dallas, down three two to Dallas, had something ready. They were down thirty to eleven in Game three and a packed American Airlines Arena and still found

a way through that one. Kawhi Leonard had one of the greatest old time performances in Game six of that series, down two to Utah, the number one team in the NBA that year, they found a way through, even with Kawhi Leonard tearing his ACL and then down three one to Phoenix. Phoenix. I showed up to Phoenix that day game five, and they literally had

champagne ready for not just the players, but the broadcasters and everybody. Champagne cake and they were saying before the game, today is going to be a special day. And Paul George put together a playoff career high forty one points and they get the wind to force a game six. They would lose the game six, but this is what this team's identity has been, so now

to have it happen because it feels like it hasn't happened this year. They had one game in Portland where they had a big comeback Norman Powell just dragged him through it without Kawhi and PG. But it feels like it has not happened consistently enough this year. It had flipped, it flipped, it had

been the other way. And so for this to happen right now now with fifteen games left after today and eleven of those games being at home, and practice time coming up, and the vibes being where they're going to be after a win like this, dangerous, dangerous, dangerous, dangerous time, and so the Clippers need to take advantage of this momentum that they built today. No eagle cooking here. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combined for twenty five of

the clippers thirty eight points in that fourth quarter. Kawai was going in a playoff game six in Dallas, had to have it type of mode. Absolutely, playoff mode was activated there in the last nine minutes. Kawhi Leonard, he wasn't given up the basketball. He was taking big shots, so was Paul George. But that tipping and then the steel on the other end. Those may have been the play of the game. So you mentioned Kawhi. Let's just go into this for a second. He comes into the game in

the fourth quarter. At him, and the Clippers were down sixteen points in the fourth quarter with about eight and a half minutes from so they outscore the rest of the way, or excuse me, not down sixteen. I'm sorry about that. I had fourteen. No, where are you at? That's still wrong? So he was he was a plus sixteen in the fourth quarter. So yeah, it was probably about that. All this to say, he comes in, they were down a lot of points, and then they

weren't down a lot of points after a little bit. But I stopped cooking. Now I'm just freezing my stuff. But Kawhi shot head back up in the fourth quarter, was four or five from the floor, was one for Okay, I'm really looking and some strange things here, Hey, and I come back like this. How is this possible? Adam? Can you explain this to me? He was four or five from the floor, but he was one for two from three. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Miss. I do I do words. I don't math, I do I do

words on numbers. At him? This is why I do words for a living and I speak all this to say, yes, he was absolutely in playoff mode. And look, Kawhi Leonard's been around enough big time teams. He's been on enough playoff and championship hopeful teams to know when a game is a must win and when the situation calls for him to go into superman mode. And Paul George did a great job through three quarters to help carry this

offense. He had thirty two points through three quarters, but Kawhi was sitting at just nineteen on fifteen shots. He recognized, I have to do more. I need to be better. And how about the two of them? Clippers go small for the final eight minutes and change, and that's when they go on their run against Jaren Jackson Junior, who generally punishes those small ball

lineups. And yet today, because of the defense that Kawai and Paul Jorge played and more importantly, the rebounding that they secured down the stretch, the Clippers found their way through. And it's not just that they won this type of victory that reminds them of who they are and how they have to play to win ball games. Noah Eagle, it's something we've been looking for all season long, because quite frankly, I've been critical at times where I've thought

that they maybe feel they're all flip the switch team. That's a dangerous mentality sometimes. But tonight they had that switch when they needed it late in the fourth quarter. They found away, and I just love seeing them actually lock in on that defensive end where they have dipped in and out of it all season long. This team has been consistently and consistent on the defensive end when they had to have it. The two on three connection I thought led the

way you mentioned it. It was Kawhi Leonard on Jones. He was playing lockdown defense and it looked like Memphis didn't know what hit him. So Tyre's Jones in this game. He went into half with five points. He was a minus two with a half. He scored twenty points in the quarter and was a plus twenty one in the quarter. And then guess what he did in the fourth quarter, Serro, he had zero points. At him. He did not spe quite the feast or fan in game. Yeah, he

did not score in the fourth quarter. He only went oh for one and then one was an airball from three. That was it. So he had two assists in the fourth quarter. That was all he did. It's all he provided. He was great tonight, Don't get me wrong. And I said before the game, I'm a huge Tias Jones fan. I think that he is someone that any team should want, and any team that has is very fortunate to have him because of all the intangibles that he brings. He

had five steals in this game too. But the defense Kawhi Leonard played on him, the defense that Paul George played on Desmond Bane, a little bit of everything from this team, certainly on the defensive end in that fourth quarter. And I'm gonna be honest with you if I were a betting man, which I'm not, but if I were a betting man, I go back to that Atlanta game from two years ago, the twenty two point comeback. You mentioned flip the switch. The Clippers were not flipping the switch. After

that, they started to recognize agency had to come from beginnings. Urgency had to come early in games. They had to start on the right foot. They can't just always be coming back last year to look you're it's talent deficit. No, Kawhi Leonard for the whole year no Paul George for two thirds of the season. I get it, but I felt like something really did change in their mentality and their approach after that Atlanta game two years ago.

If I were a betting man, and I'm not at them, but if I were a betting man, I would tell you that their their mentality changes after this game. I would tell you that they come out they look different. They got practice time coming out the Pride. Get the day off tomorrow and practice on Tuesday. Then you've got a game on Wednesday. Then maybe you get a day off, or maybe you practice both Thursday and Friday, then a game on Sunday, and guess what, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

all off before taking out Orlando next Thursday. So time coming up, you can work through the Kings and you can make sure that mentality is here to stay. I'm hoping the lever they broke off in the fourth quarter after they had to flip it so hard that they can't go back to playing the same basketball they were, that it stays on. That father was upset that the lights are on in the house all day twenty four seven. I do want to show some love to Russell Westbrook, who had the big and one late

in this one little chirp too. You know, they brought him in one of the reasons because of the competitive streak he has and the fire and emotion he plays with. And as the crowd was in a frenzy, it was Russ who got him going even more with that shot. Yeah, no question

about it. So nine points, five rebounds, six assists. The numbers aren't eye popping, and they're not what he was providing on a consistent basis in Oklahoma City, or even in Washington, or even at times with the Lakers, or even the course of this season sixteen point six forwards, seven and a half assist per game. But what he did provide was energy.

He played thirty four minutes tonight, he only took nine shots, so he was economical with what he was doing on the offensive end, and to your point, when the matter and when the moment required him to be great, he found a way to be great. And he's made a couple of big plays in the fourth quarter this season already for the Clippers, in the first six games he's played. Think about the Sacramento game. It's a big shot, gets to the rim. Those are huge plays. It looked like we're

gonna get the Clippers to win in regulation of that game. In the Denver game, he doesn't really play a whole lot in the fourth quarter. In fact, he didn't play at all in the fourth quarter. But he comes back hit a huge three ball in the Minnesota game to keep the Clippers close, and a driving lay up in that game. He's had some big fourth quarter moments, and even on Friday against Sacramento, he was huge in the fourth quarter. He was the reason the Clippers had a chance to win that

game down the street. So sure, he had to turnover with fifteen seconds left, I get it, But if it wasn't for everything else that he provided his passing in that fourth quarter, his shot making in that fourth quarter from the mid range is getting to the basket into the free throw line, the Clippers wouldn't have even been in that ball game. So I think overall,

Russ has played very well. He's starting to settle in more and more into that role that they expect of him, playing some opportunistic defense, I thought, grabs some huge rebounds today. You gotta give him praise and give credit where credits due. So far in his Clippers' tenure. He's been very solid and after having a turnover this time in the fourth he had a steal on the other end right afterwards and completely redeemed himself as they win one thirty

five to one twenty nine after trailing big in the fourth quarter. I only have one more question for you here, Noah, it's gotta be the shoes, right, big shoes. The Magic Chucks are big, a little good luck charm for Big brother Jake. This one even better because we had an extended talk here with Noah Eagle. That means we gave producer Katie tons of time to pack it. A lot of highlights from this fourth quarter for this

tremendous Clippers classic comeback to night over the Memphis Grizzlies. They win one thirty five to one twenty nine. Clipper Nation. If you were here in the building, you were in for a treat. If you were listening on the radio, you got it from Noah Eagle coming up next, those second half highlights and Noah, I'll see you here on Wednesday night. Yeah you know, Adam, I it's gonna get you. this one. As I know, lines are letting up eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy eight sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy or get to me at follow Adam. A third quarter was not kind to the Clippers. It was unreal actually to watch Memphis put up fifty one points, went ten of thirteen from three and outscored the Clippers by twenty one in twelve

minutes after the Clippers had a six point lead at the half. But the fourth quarter, when it looked like the Clippers were down and out and the season was slipping away as they had lost five in a row, you gotta rely on your superstars, and it was Kauai, Paul George and Russ got into the act as well. Laid in this one. George on the right elbow, guarded by con Chart, driving middle into the paint. Fens offloads it up and gets the role of Paul George with thirty six one eleven.

George attacking on Roddy Girl, step in the lane, kick at Leonard, swing it Gordon, Pumpy, get it inside George all alone for a two handed rim rattler thirty eight for George. Clippers within eight they've shaved seven off the deficit. Five minutes into the fourth one twenty one one thirteen, there comes George right to left into the front court, got it by Tillman.

George pullan from twenty straight away, got it to go forty for Paul George one twenty one one fifteen clips back within two possessions Leonard of fifteen twitter. It's good from the far side. Cowhide Leonard with twenty one. Clippers are within four. They have shathed with eleven points off the fifteen point deficit, and they've got a to within two possessions. In a blink up ahead, Leonard moves it right to let four thirty five to play La within four Leonard

step back right wing three money, cowhide. Leonard delivers twenty four for the claw La down one one twenty one one twenty three pound, a letter and a chance for the Clippers to go back in front. Four minutes to play one twenty one, one twenty Leonard down the lane, Oh go hide. Leonard cos to coast major Kawail slams with the right one twenty two one twenty one. Leonard picks up his dribble top of the key, swinging boors looking

inside Westbrook short corner. He gets past Canard to the rim, forced it in and the fell Russell Westbrook with a clutch bucket two forty seven a play and a champ for three. George to Leonard the free throw line. A couple of chap steps jumpers up head down Kawhi with thirty one twenty nine,

one twenty three, two oh five to play, Clip five six. George's double keeps the dribble a live leave it Westbrook left wing driving middle with five on the top clock gets down the left Ali missed it with the left hand rebound booked around, George got it, floats it up and in what a play by Paul George, the Hustle cashes in its time out Memphis one thirty

three to one twenty nine. Paul George would have a steal. On the other end, Kawhi knocked down two free throws and the Clippers come back down by fourteen with under nine minutes left to win, one thirty five to one twenty nine. Here at Crypto dot Com Arena over the Memphis Grizzlies. What a call from Noah Eagle. Highlights courtesy of our producer Katie Newton. Coming

They were down fourteen with nine minutes left in this one of the Memphis Grizzlies, just to win one thirty five to

one twenty nine. Welcome in to Clippers Stalk. I'm out of Oslin to eight six six nine eight seven two seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy if you'd like to get on after this critical, huge, necessary, basically must win victory for the Clippers, and they did so in dramatic fashion, to say the least. Coming up, we're gonna hear from Coach Low and the players. But while we have a moment, let's pause ten

seconds for station identification. Here on AM five seventy LA Sports, this is LA Clippers Basketball A five seventy KLAC Los Angeles seven KYSR HD to Los Angeles and iHeart Radio station. The Clippers were staring at their sixth straight loss and looked absolutely lifeless and helpless on the defense, event as they gave up a fifty one spot in the third quarter to Memphis, who went ten of thirteen from the outside, an unbelievable, believable shooting display by a team that's down

three stars. But they still had Taias Jones and Desmond Baine and Triple Jay and Jaren Jackson Junior who had a huge throwdown. But it looked like the Clippers defense that we had seen throughout a lot of this year and especially over the last couple of months, where teams were shooting over forty percent from the

outside on them. Tonight, though, Memphis at one point at the end of the third quarter, was at sixty percent from three at seventeen of twenty eight, and they led by fifteen heading into the fourth after the Clippers had a six point lead at the half, and things didn't get much better early on in that fourth quarter, Grizzlies were up by sixteen. Clippers still couldn't get anything going and looked to be out of position and out of sorts on

the defensive end, and the season was on the brink. You can't lose six games in a row this deep into the year, not with what's happening in the Western Conference standings, not with the Clippers starting this game in the A spot, meaning in the play in tournament tonight. They had to figure this out, and they did so on the backs of the two one three connection who's legacies may have been on the line. If you believe the season was on the line, it wasn't just that it was the two one three

era. It would start with believe it or not, he's been struggling, but Marcus Morris hit a couple of big shots in the fourth quarter. Loved to see it. A big jumper, a three pointer, Paul George got to the free through a line. He was aggressive throughout this one and finished with forty two PG. Thirteen looked as surprise. We have seen him all season long dealing with that right knee injury, right knee soreness. He absolutely

had a different level of explosiveness and athleticism out there tonight. He had a sense of urgency. But the Clippers were still disconnected on defense. They've been eight teenth defensively since November. First. The personnel is too good for them to be that bad for that long, basically the entire season. After the first seven games, it didn't make sense. It was perplexing, baffling, couldn't figure it out, and tonight it looked to be their worst job on

that end. They were given up open shot after open shot, and Memphis missed some too in that fourth, but the Clippers around the nine minute mark, being down one twenty to one h seven, got those two free throws from Paul George. Then he has a driving lay up through traffic, just like the ones he hit against the Sacramento Kings late where he had that tough,

slithering layup. We thought maybe it would have been the difference of the ballgame couldn't get the victory Friday night, felt like they had forgotten how to win during this five game losing streak not an exaggeration. They lost in so many different ways. They had a lead against the Golden State Warriors that led them to go four for their next thirty two from the field in the second

half to lose that one and get blown out. They lost multiple times in overtime to the Kings, to Denver, and then to the Kings by one again Friday Night. Papa George then goes on to have four six eight straight points for the Clippers between the eight forty four mark of the fourth to the six thirty five mark and then the other half of the two one three connection the two. Kawhi Leonard, who's number two to No. One, hits a jumper and you could see it. The momentum had shifted. All of

a sudden. The Clippers are within four with five twenty six left, five forty six left. It's one twenty one, two, one seventeen, and Kawhi had that look. And I know he doesn't show a lot of emotion normally, but you can tell when he's playing at a faster pace and he hits a three pointer, brings them to within one, and then has a huge throwdown after another defensive stop by the Clippers where he took it coast to

coast and would not be denied. And if you watch that replay, this isn't Kawhi Leonard with a deadpan, nonchalant look on his face like he had in that famous picture of him from behind the backboard of that Dunkey had with the Spurs ten years ago. This was a guy screaming as he threw it down. This was someone who knew the stakes, knew they had to have it, and knew he had to take over. So you get eighth straight from from first Paul George the first two minutes of this comeback. Then Kawhi

Leonard has nine straight points. And speaking of emotion, Russell Westbrook, who had struggled in this one and the Clippers had not won a game since they brought him in, it is not all on him. That certainly is a popular lazy narrative by people who don't watch games. But Russell Westbrook did struggle on this one, and he had a turnover in the fourth, but then he had steel took it right back. He went to the basket on a

play where the Clippers offensively it looked like things had stalled out. He saw a crease in the defense and had a driving, tough layup and one opportunity. He sunk the free throwers well, and the Clippers are up one twenty seven to one twenty three all of a sudden. With two forty seven left in the fourth, Kawai would stick another jumper, as he had fifteen points in the fourth. He would hit two free throws, but Desmond Vain and the Grizzlies weren't going away. He had an and one of his own.

Luke Kennard, is he a new Clippers killer? After being a killer for the Clippers? Luke Nukem, we love him. He got his tribute video,

but not tonight. He went five of five from three, hit a huge one to bring them back to within two with fifty seven seconds left, and on a miss in traffic on a tough layup from Russ, Paul George made the play of the game, the tip in that he had the rebound that he snagged to get it back up and in if the Clippers are able to turn things around, that's a shot we're gonna be looking at for a

long time. That was all heart, all effort in traffic, multiple Grizzlies there, and he got it and put it back in and then had a steal on the other end on Jaren Jackson Jr. Kawhi would knock down two free throws and the Clippers come back town fourteen with nine minutes left to win by six in a game they had to have unbelievable. Let's hear from one of the heroes of the ball game. We got postgame audio from Valley Sport. It's Kawhi Leonard after he has fifteen of his thirty four in the fourth

quarter, speaking with Rosina peak. Why this is the biggest home comeback for you guys this season, overcoming a sixteen point deficit. How are you guys able to engineer this comeback so quickly in the fourth quarter? Our defense finally, you know, caught up to our offense, and I mean it just made our offense go. We got stops, rebounds, pushed the pace and

we end up making shots in that fourth quarter. You guys certainly made shots and you took over here late fifteen of your thirty four points here in the fourth How were you able to plug on and get your rhythm going. I just staying with it. I like all the shots that I got tonight, miss him early, and I'll just stay focused and confident. The confidence of this group never seemed to wavered even during this losing skit. But to get this w after the All Star break, how important was this one for this

group? That was good? You know, we finally got to close out a game that was coming down to the wire. Of the first couple of games it went the other way, and you know, hopefully well the keep building off of these all right speaks, softly carry a lethal mid range jumper. That's Kawhi Leonard. Man a few words, but many big points. Down the stretch of this one, he had fifteen of his thirty four. Once again, Clippers come back down by sixteen, the fourth down by fourteen.

With nine minutes left, Paul George has forty two. The two on three connection came alive and defensively. When Kawhi Leonard was switched onto Taias Jones, it was finally, I think the Clippers flipping a switch defensively. We'll find out. We hope that's the case, that they found their hunger, their sense of urgency because it needs to be forty eight minutes if you're gonna be a championship ball club. But tonight they just had to have it.

And considering the way they got it, this could have leakes, this could be a momentum win. We'll find out. On Wednesday. They're taking on the Toronto Raptors eight six six nine eight seven two seventy eight six six ninety seven two five seventy. Let's go to the phones here, we got Damien in La Damien here on, Clippers, stop with that. I'm assled hod On triple a man quality win, quality win today. You know, here's the thing, here's the thing. Yeah, this is the Memphis team just

riddled with injuries. They got the issue with John Morand who suspended a couple of games, right, and you thought the Clippers had an opportunity to get right, to put their foot on the neck of a team to dominate. And that's not what happened. It was the same inconsistent Clippers team that we've seen all season long until they had to have it and their backs were against the wall, and I set it pregame. They gotta come out swinging because this is as close as you can get to a must win game. And

they felt it. You could tell they felt it when Kawhi all of a sudden and Paul george are playing on the perimeter. Defense like that where they held Memphis to seventeen points in the fourth quarter, helped scored them thirty eight to seventeen, and from some of the worst defense I had seen all season. And that's saying something for a team that hasn't been good enough on that end. So some of the best defense I've seen all year, that's what

occurred within the last nine minutes of this ball game. They flipped a switch. It's dangerous. I've said it before. If you're not a championship team or have that championship trophy, have the hardware already to believe you're a flip the switch team, that could be dangerous. But you know what, with fifteen games left, and Paul Georgia said it, we believe you get us in a seven game series. We're healthy, We're good, We're gonna be

a tough out at this point. They have to have that mentality. They definitely have to have that. You know, I thought it was great, you know that last play. You know, people were talking about with Russell that turnover. Can't really put that all on him. Basketball dictates that when your point guard is trapped in the backcourt, you've come to the basketball. Nobody came to the basketball. So I'm gonna let him off the hook for that turnover, especially because he, uh, he made up for it.

I was really happy to see something flip a switch in the in the whole team tonight. You know. I really seemed like when Paul George took that hit to the mouth that these guys woke up, you know, and I knew they weren't gonna let Paul get hit in the mouth by Memphis and not do anything about that. You know, this team, this Memphis teams, they do this to people, Adam, They bring this out of people, and it really sucks that it took us to the end of the season to

play them, but hey, better late than never. I think it's something positive though. I saw a look in Kauai's eyes the night, you know, on the I was watching the game and I saw something in one of those last time man, you had that eye of the tiger. And then he let loose and you know, he went off fifteen and the fourth Kawi's been doing it all year, Paula George has been doing it all year. When those guys are healthy, they are, you know, as good as

goals. What I love to seeing is the role players that we have there, Eric Gordon getting in the mix, you know, Russell Westbrook bringing a lot of intensity, even Plumbly bringing a lot of intensity. It's like having Zoo on the court at all times. Really it is, because they do a lot of the same things. So here's the problem. That intensity was

not translating and hasn't translated to good defense. They haven't played. They have been the worst team since the All Star Break with points given up in the paint, and tonight they ended up giving up sixty four points in the paint to the Grizzlies, and when they went ten of thirteen from three in the third quarter, Memphis was getting wide open looks or guys who were late on clothes outs to the point where it doesn't matter anymore if you get a hand

in their face because the ball is basically released. Yeah, when we get plumb me back in his spot coming off the bench and Zoo's healthy, I think that that's gonna be a vicious two headed monster, you know, to the point where you know, if we're up that they might even be able to play off one another because Plumby's pretty good faster and him not having the responsibility of locking down the pan on his own could be real scary. But I really like what I saw, you know, take that to all of

the Westbrooks Flanders out there. You know, he did everything that he needed to do and he really helps, you know, get us this win. So I'm happy about how everything's fitting together. I think moving forward, we just get some practices. This could be scary, but you know, our team, man, we play the best with our backs against the wall. Now is the time. Let's get it all right, Damnan. I appreciate the phone call. That's been their identity in this era, the comebacks.

The big twenty point comeback a couple of years ago against Atlanta, granted had happened earlier in the season, but it seemed to start something up for this Clippers team. They've had the most twenty point comebacks over the last three seasons. No one has done it better. No one has been more dangerous and at their best when they're down and everybody's counting them out than the Clippers hell in twenty nineteen. In that year, in the first round against the Kevin

Durant Golden State Warriors, they had a thirty one point comeback. Obviously a lot of roster turnover since then, but that's the biggest playoff comeback ever and the Clippers with thirty five point That thirty five point comeback in DC second biggest comeback of all time any game in the National Basketball Association by just one point. To see them find themselves, relocate that identity that they've been searching for, because they should be a good defensive team. They need to be the

player personnel t This should be a good team on that end. But I saw a bunch of guys throughout most of this season getting beat off the dribil too often, not being sharp on rotations, not covering from one another. It seemed like after the first seven games where Viza Zubos was playing out of his mind before getting banged up at one point, now a few different points of the season, they were just relying on him to make up for mistakes. They put too much on him, and guys developed a lot of bad

habits. Can they be undone with fifteen games left? Can they finally start putting together quarters and string wins together by playing for a full forty eight minutes where you're locked in on both sides yet to be determined. But they had to get this one, and to get it in this fashion, in this manner, maybe exactly what the doctor ordered for the Clippers because they realized who they are in this league again, that is a gretty tough team that doesn't

give up no matter what the score is. We'll find out a lot though on Wednesday. Can't come right back and lose to the Raptors, who are playing better basketball. Day won three in a row. We'll take a quick time out. We'll get back to your phone calls coming up next. Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number. Unbelievable, incendiary comeback by the Clippers late,

and Kawhi and Paul George had their fingerprints all over this one. Those fifteen points Kawai had in the fourth all came in the last six minutes. And when Kawhi is playing at that pace, just going straight locomotive down the lane for a right handed throw down, it got crypto dot com. The crypt was alive. Believe that Lord clipperstock next during AMP five seventy Light Sports, George and Lennard running. You're listening to a Clippers basketball. Clipper puts

it down plus the foul. Every game of all season long, Clippers look to be heading towards the bottom of them. Yeah, like Bubba fed. If you read the expanded fan fiction he got out of there. I don't know how it all worked. I was a nerd back of the day. I think Dan Garr was supposed to be the one that saved him. I don't know if Disney kept that or not. I'm sorry. Clippers down fourteen win, one thirty five to one twenty nine as they storm back late in

the fourth quarter, an unbelievable comeback and a necessary victory. Clippers still in the A spot, but they could have dropped down the standings even more as two teams in front of them Dallas lost earlier, Golden State lost earlier. It was a good win eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy. The question is is this the

kind of victory you build on? Is this what saves their season? Or is it just delaying the inevitable considering who this team has been known for moments like this for years, and instead it was flipped around and going the other way on them, where teams were coming back and winning late, up by twenty against Philly, up by twenty one against the Milwaukee Bucks, up big

against the Warriors, recently just to lose big. Something had changed. That magic seemed to be out or running out for them tonight, though when they needed it, they were David Copperfield making that space shuttle disappear. Clippers win one thirty five to one, twenty nine, down fourteen with nine left against the Memphis Grizzlies. Back to your phone, calls Sean and Inglewood, what's up here on Clippers? Stop without am Moslin, Sean Europe? Are you

I'm better? Sean? How are you feeling well? I'll tell you Friday night, I probably wanted to throw something at the TV with the delians I's head before the last three seconds. We can't get a decent shot. But I just want to talk about tonight and basically today we saw Kauai and Lucas go off for about eighty points, and so did the combination of the Phoenix guys of the Durant. So yeah, the seventy two or seventy four combined

is in that ballpark. But what we need is Paul George to bring that attitude that he's the number one option from the beginning of the game and go for it. And then Kauai will get busy too. Maybe let her get that attitude too. But they the Cookers need to have an edge because really they struggled with a team that's less talimited with them almost every time they go out there. They struggled with this team missing three stars, and the Kuno

lost that game very easily until they woke up. So they need to have that attitude from the very beginning. Whatever they have to do to keep that attitude, they need to keep going at it. But I will say that they did finally play some defense that you alluded to. It was the exist thing the city. But again they were fortunate that if the other team down a little tired and they just start missing their shots like crazy too. But I'll take that W. I'll take that W and I hope this starts to

winning three. We'll see, what do you think. I'm hopeful and I appreciate the phone call Sean as always, he's a regular here on Clippers Talk become one eight six six ninety seven two five seventy. I'm hopeful because I actually believe this is better than just blowing out the Memphis Grizzlies, who are under man tonight. I thought, coming into this one, it'd be nice to see the Clippers win with some style points. They're supposed to win this

game. Memphis is down far too many guys, But you gotta remember, the Grizzlies just play hard all the time. They have an identity. They know who they are no matter who is out there. But for the Clippers to rediscover that identity of not giving up, of coming back on a team, that is what's important in this victory. I think not just that they won, but how they won, showing that it is in them when they need it to dig deep, it's still there. We haven't seen enough of

that this season. For this team to only be a game above five hundred with fifteen left to play, it's shocking. But the West and being a top six seed that is still within range, that is still within reach. But tonight, I don't know if it was a must win whatever you want to call it. It's as close as you can get in the regular season.

Had to have it. It's a necessary win. But for to come back and to come back and win by six when you're down that big, when you give up a fifty one point quarter in the third, a team hadn't lost a game when they had a fifty point quarter since nineteen ninety one. So the Clippers make a little bit of history Memphis, some bad history for them. Paul George forty two points is third forty point game this season, six as a Clipper season high, and free throws fourteen made on fifteen

attempts. We talked about it a lot, and no It Ego brought up about this Clippers team Friday night when they lost that game to Sacramento, missing eight free throws and the Kings went twenty six of twenty six. But Noah said it often during their twenty one run and throughout the playoffs, they were the team that would shoot a very high percentage from the free throw line.

It's not sexy, but you can win games in the charity stripe. The Clippers tonight after missing eight free throws against Sacramento, going nineteen of twenty seven go thirty three of thirty five, Kawhi Leonard was thirteen of thirteen, Paul George was fourteen of fifteen. You can win games there, and it also speaks to the level of aggression and activity and downhill attack and rim pressure that they had. Let's go to how do we got Here's it going of that

text? And I appreciate Dennis Stagastino, statistician to the Stars, forgiving us that information about winning a ball game when a team has a fifty point quarter. David leaving the game, you're on Clippers stock with Adam Oslin. Oh he's heading back to San Diego. Wonder quis two? Yeah, I got you all right? Cool? So oh man, what can I say? You know, I'm a long time Southern California my whole life, but I gotta bring a little bit of balance here. I look at this Clipper team.

We're sixty games into the season here, roughly they're a five hundred ball club. I don't want to requote Bill Parcelf, but I look at them out there, and if you know, those aren't the names on the back of those jerseys with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard I'm asking myself who plays defense on this team. I get it, they won. I like the Clippers.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Clippers. But you're coming back by four points to win by four points on by the way, a Luke Canard revenge game, if you will, he misses the part where they won the game by playing that defense and playing to their capabilities on that end. I did. But you're coming back on David Roddy and Tayas Jones, and you mentioned something a little bit. I mean, this is a John Morant list,

Dave. I didn't say they're automatically a championship contender because of tonight, But if they lose tonight's game, you're calling me in saying the season is over. So don't you think it was a pretty big victory all things considered. I do. I do, And I love how they came back and by the way, being in that arena that was like electric. That was the first time in a long time I've seen that arena get really electric for

the Clippers, and I really like seeing that. I'm just I guess, you know, I'm just thinking a little bit down the road, and I'm just concerned for the defensive end. I watched that, David, you're treation to the choir by friend, I've been the one out there saying this team should not be that bad on the defensive end. I've been saying it for a month since November. First, they are eighteenth defensively. That's the head

scratcher, to say the least. That is confounding. I watched for three quarters and two thirds of a fourth, you know, a third of a fourth excuse me, three quarters and maybe a third of a fourth quarter where you know, they let pretty regular NBA guys just come down and not only take threes, but get like two feet into the lane before they're pulling up for six foot bunnies. And you know, even for hoping for a you know, I want to watch a good game no matter what. I want

to see a close game. But I'm like, guys, how are you letting him step into the lane there? I will say this, I thought it was a huge, huge substitution to bring in Mason Plumley and Eric Gordon, but more importantly Mason Plumley in for Zubots. It was a massive difference in what he can do around the rim, finishing, just being a lot more confident around there. I thought that was a big difference for the Clippers. I know that goes relatively young sung, but I thought he made a

big difference for them. I don't know why he doesn't start, because zubots is a better player. That's probably why, David, but I do appreciate the phone call, and I love Mason Plumley. He's arguably the best backup center in the league. Visa zubots In is just second game over the last six now, and he was gonna be on a minis restriction six points nine boards. Had two huge blocks, both of them on Jaren Jackson Jr. I'm not sure how many of his minutes were in the fourth quarter, if

at all, I could figure that out right now. Yeah, none of them were, and zubos was the backbone on their defense. It's interesting that somebody comes in and says, no, Mason Plumbly should be the starter. And I know there's a faction of fans that, for some reason, and it's odd to me, do not like a beats the Zu boss. Don't think he's that good. When the Clippers were playing great defense this season, guess who was playing center that beats the Zu Bots the anchor. He's good,

He's really good. So I don't know what it's gonna take for him to get some respect when you can't tell that there's a correlation when he's out and they're giving up one hundred and seventy points. I don't I don't know. Maybe maybe they could use a beachs the szu bots in a game against the Kings or in a game against the Denver Nuggets. And Nikola yogis Andy in the OC Andy, what's up here on Clippers stock without? I am Oslin? Hey, how are you doing? Hi? Andy? What do

you think of the ball game? I love your show and I've been a Clippers fan since the eighties when I first thought season tickets then and no longer have them now, but I still follow them, and I just had a brief a couple of comments. First, I don't know the medical issues, only the team does all other players, but this load management issue. Until those guys are all playing on the court at the same time, they're gonna

struggle to gel. And that's one of the things that's lacking with Kawai in and out of the lineup all the time, and Paul George too now Andy, let me ask you something. Kauai missed a lot of back to backs also in miss games during the twenty twenty one season. Did it look like they were jelling before he tore his ACL in the playoffs? Did it look like they were free? Darned good? And we're probably gonna beat the Phoenix Suns that they had Kawai. It did, so they've had even more games

together since then. If you want to make the point that now they're trying to implement Russell Westbrook, I'm listening. But that's what I'm saying, that they have to blend all the current players and they've just got some new guys, including Westbrook and others, and so until they get everybody on the court regularly because they don't have a lot of practice time, they actually do now they do. They have three games the next twelve days. They have a

ton of practice time in the last month and a half. Rephrase it for an hour at a time where they're learning to play with each other, so really gain and hardcore scrimmaging. And I go back to I was fortunate up to shit with John Wooden at a few UCLA basketball games, and then Larry Brown was a coach at UCLA, and I was a two sport athlete there at the time, so I got to know John a little bit, and I got to know Larry a little bit, and these are the kinds of

things we would talk about. So all I'm saying is they need to play be together with their entire rotation. Andy, do you think they're arguing against that, like they don't want to have chemistry or don't want to play on the court together, don't want to practice. Again, I don't know the injuries, and I preface my state with that, I don't know the true injury situation, but they're going to struggle until they get enough game time together,

and that's what they lack. So that's that's my primary point, and all of it I appreciate. They do think they have the talent to compete for a championship. Okay, like the positivity there at the end, I honestly believe it's less about continuity and chemistry and meshing and more about having a sense of urgency and just a level of focus, laser focus to start games.

Because the Clippers go in and out of playing really good basketball. They can it seems like when they need to well I've been saying all season, they've been consistently inconsistent. I think it's honestly less about that this team just lets up or they have one eye on the playoffs already. Can't have that still gonna get to the postseason. I'm not sure what it is. It's hard to put a finger on sometimes with them. Let's go to Josh and

Carl's bath. Josh, what's up your Clipper stock without Amassin? Hey, Josh, I've had a good post game today. You're on fire on a lot of your points. You know what's up? Josh? So the one thing it struck a nerve with me. You were talking about Zubot and I mean, if you look at like the center rankings and all that stuff. I'm not a big stats person, but I had to win an argument the other day. He's like the thirty eighth ranks center in the NBA. Rank

by what by what metric? It was like his PR rating or something like that, but it was basically ranking him. But when well, his defense within six ft of the ram to start off the first month and a half two months of the season was the best in the NBA by a wide margin. And that's pretty important thing when you're a defensive anchor. Absolutely, but you just said it yourself. You went to look up the stats for Zubos

tonight and what'd you say. He didn't play a minute in the fourth quarter when we finally started playing some defense, he was on a minute's restriction. If you think this team is better without one of the better defensive centers in the NBA, I don't know how to help you. He's been banged up. Oh no, no, absolutely we're better with Zubat there. But Plumly is making a strong case for himself to get into that lineup and get a lot more minute because he has a lot more effect on the game when he's

on the floor. Mason Plumly is a more well rounded offensive player and has his moments, and he's had some big blocks or a few for the Clippers so far. He's not necessarily known as a defensive stopper, No he's not, but he plugs the paint up and he has a much more of the

pendants in there. Let me give you a number. Since the All Star Break teams are shooting eighty percent in the restricted area on the Clippers, a visa Zubots has hardly played since the All Star Break, Mason Plumley has played a lot, so to say he's not a part of that, a guy who hasn't averaged more than point six blocks in the game over the season, I just think that's incorrect. He's he's he's a great addition. He's maybe the best backup center in the league. He can bring the ball up the

court, he's a great passer. He's you could say he's a much better passion than it beats the Zubots. But as a pure rim protector, he is not better than it beats the zu bots. There is nothing that will tell you otherwise. No, I'm not. I'm not arguing that he's a better protector. Seemed like you were. You came in saying Zubats is the thirty eight best guy and they should be playing it. Seemed like you were leading to they should be playing plumbly more, or he's the better player.

And when the last time shift and where we played a Rudy Gobert or we played a joke kitch and they didn't drop thirty plus on it with Zubox Again, some how many guys do stop them yokich averages almost that did they did they have zoobots against Yokich on Sunday? No, and he had forty Josh, I appreciate the phone call, my friend. Let's go to Jose and Downey. Jose, what's up if you're on Clippers? Stop? Hey,

Adam, how are you doing? Just getting back from the game. So, I think the biggest thing was with Moore is right now that he's not hitting his shots, he's a little bit of a liability on They didn't start him in the second half. Did you notice that, Jose? Yeah, we did. We noticed that when we're there and they were doing they were starting to do better and on the defensive side. But I think we got to explore other options. Whether it would be but tune Robert Covington if Moore

is not gonna be getting the threes, well they did. They put in Nicholas but Tuba to start the third quarter. But give Marcus credit. He had five key points early on the fourth when nobody else will scorn. Definitely I see that, and then the zoo back thing. I think you're totally right. He is. He is our starting center, and he is our defensive anchor. My biggest thing with him in any center that I remember having in the last couple of years. It's when the screaming role comes on the

top. I don't expect them to stop the point guard that they screened for, but a lot of times he everybody comes under the screen and then they shoot that shot not just on him, but on the person that's supposed to switch with him. Well, they play a lot and drop coverage. So yeah, yeah, they do, and I think that's what's frustrating with him. Well, they're giving up certain shots. You gotta give something up usually

in this league. Don't live with you trying to beat him in the mid range sometimes, but I would hope that maybe you know, the a little jab he leans all the way forward before rolling back out, and oh he does. He does sometimes. Zubaz definitely shades over, you know, and that's when he plays the best defense. To me, that kind of feel he plays the best defense. But I think that's the frustrating part for some

of the other people that he's walking away in that third quarter. I know nobody did anything right on defense, but there's quite a couple of times he ran away from the shooter and it was like, what's happening, Why isn't this clicking. Let me let me tell you something, Jose. The last person I'm worrying about on the defensive end, especially when he gets healthy, fully healthy, it's Big Zoo, who did have a big throw down in

the second half. He did. Look, he said, Guys getting off the dribble by their man and not taking the challenge on the perimeter has been an issue all season long. And that is more about effort and want to and will and it has to stop because from there your defense is in rotation and you're in trouble. I gotta agree with you on that. I was just saying the same thing since since we came back from the All Star break. It's the effort. You sensors all effort, and where is that at.

Something must have happened at nine minute marking that time out. Somebody must have snapped, somebody must have said, this is not gonna happen again, and a lit a fire. They made a stand, They said enough, Jose. I appreciate the phone call my friend Ryan and Burbank. Ryan, you're on clipper side without amslin Adam, pleasure to have you. Hopefully my phone sounds better than the last time. I want to make sure that it does. I heard the first part and it was it was kind of you,

so oh I heard it. Awesome. So, Adam, I want to I want to say this mainly Number one it why can't Robert come in to get any minutes at him? Why? I mean, like, why do we hated Ryan? Why are you asking me a question you know I don't have the answer for since you probably asked it three times before and many people have. That is my question to you. But Adam, it makes no sense when the last game he played, he's played so well, he plays so well, he's deflecting balls, he's making shots, and I'm look,

I'm not I know, Marcus Morris's a veteran. I get all this. I understand that, like you're ride and die with some types of players. You know what they've done in big games, Buck, I understand all that. But if you just look at the per minute basis for these players at this point, Covington is more versatile, he's a better defender, and

he gets his shot off. He actually has a shooting stroke right now, and it just it perplexes me when I'm seeing, Look, let's just be honest with this gameless tonight, the Grizzlies were missing three legitimate scoring threats and in one quarter they put up fifty one point. I mean, come on, it wasn't just one guy though, and not just one guy is going to fix it either. They have to come to get a collectively on the defensive end. Agree with you. I'd love to see more Rocco. I

don't know. Maybe Coach Lewis asked about a postgame Ryan, I appreciate the phone call. We'll take a quick time out, we'll come back looking for that postgame audio from the head coach and to Ron lew as the Clippers march back and the two one three connection led them to a victory one thirty five to one twenty nine after being down big early in the fourth quarters to the Memphis Grizzlies. You can talk about the guys missing for Memphis. I understand

that, but if the difference is when the Clippers. If the Clippers had lost this ball game, you'd better say the season is over. So to now be dismissive of this big comeback win doesn't work for me either. They had to have it, and they got it, and they got it in a manner that I hope reminds them of who they have to be on both ends of the floor. More Clippers stock next here on a five seventy sports Hendy got it? Count it from distance? The dun favorite to hoist.

Hilario Bright heavily contest it and it doesn't matter. On the whole of you, La Clippers, Clippers will see the nixt On Saturday, Clippers went tonight over the Memphis Grizzlies, one thirty five to one twenty nine. They come back down sixteen in the fourth quarter. Get the dub as they outscore Memphis thirty eight to seventeen in the last twelve minutes. Welcome back in the Clippers stock. I'm atam oslin age six six ninety seven two five seventy quickly everybody

gets thirty seconds. I'm sorry, Greg in Newport Beach. What's up? Salty? Ay, my man? What's that? Hey? Salty? Hey? Look bro, you salty? Tonight? My man? Check this out though, I mean, look, hey, if they lose the next three, if they lose on Wednesday, bad then yeah, tonight meant nothing, and you can be a downer about it. But until then, I'm gonna hope that this gets them going. I mean to listen, man, listen,

listen. I was at the game to night. Bruh left the game when Paul George got elbow in the mouth and they was challenging the car. They you know, took a break to review it. That's when we left, and the Clippers came back and won the damn game. Miss k home running. That's basically what you did. Okay, it's not on that level whatsoever. I'm sorry, but come on, keep the faith, Greg. I usually do, man, but I told my girl when it's like seven

minutes, I said, look, things ain't looking too good. I said, come on, let's take off and drawing. Behold, man, they won the game. So I'm happy, all right. Appreciate the phone call, Marvin and downtown Los Angeles. You're on Clippers side without I am as all right, Adam. This is a breakthrough games of the keepers needed at the anadote because this brings them back to the winning ways no matter who they

played, whatsoever. And at the same time, it allows them to go ahead and get rolling in Gael with the chemistry and to figure out with the players that they added, and also that are on me back from injury, so let's just keep it rolling. They got than games in the next twelve days. They got plenty of time to start to build up some of that chemistry, continuity, familiarity with four new guys on the team. So I appreciate the phone call, Marvin. I think you're right. Noah Eagle's been

talking about it. I mentioned it before the season. I liked how the schedule laid out because it did give them a little bit more runway space at the end of the season to build some momentum. Because of all the days off, they could get more practices in, they could tighten things up, they could be sharper, they could play smarter. That's the hope. Javier in the Habberd Heights or leaving the game, Javier, you're a Clipper scope without I'm as high. What's up at them? Hey, I know you

got to go real quick. Yeah, you know, I'm a season take it older. So thanks for you know what. Next time, I was up early, real quick at them. You know, it looked to look bad, but they came back. You gotta give him credit. Thought to you this much. I mean it was there's a point there at the at the end of the third quarter when they allowed fifty at one point, I would say, right behind Steve Bomber. I'm like maybe fourteen les behind behind

him. And after the third quarter he went up to Jerry West. I don't know what he said, but he wasn't happy. So I'm telling this much, they would lost this game. I think. I'm just guarantee you type you would have been fire the next day because he was kind of happy. I don't know about that, you know what, I don't know about that, but I'm glad that Clipper Nation has an owner that is this passionate about their team and cares the way Steve Bomber does. That is big.

Yeah. Yeah, So we just gotta say, you've gotta keep it going. You gotta play at Toronto. So it just you just can't you know, it's just win game. So thank you, Adam thought your later. No, but it was just one game against Sacramento that they lost in overtime and it turned into a five game losing streak. I'm hoping it goes back the other way this time. Remember Robert Covington said after the Laws the Sacramento Friday night in Sacktown, it's gonna flip the other way. Things are going

to turn around. That's what we're looking for. Mike in La Mike, what's up? Just want to bring your attention to this really awesome quote from Paul George ship Now. He said specifically, this means nothing if we don't treat the next games the way we treated the fourth quarter. And I love to hear that attitude and that approach from Paul George, who you know, sometimes in his you know, media quotes and everything can come up sounding a little you know, lack of days the goal or a loop. And this

is great. Hopefully that's this wind does carry over and you know, the next few games are you know, include a game where we do get a blowout. And second, I wanted to say, I know some a lot of callers have been critical of Zubak Zubox I should say, and I will just say, zubats his jersey will eventually be retired in the into it. Oh, all right, bold take. But will we be building the statue as well? All right? I appreciate the phone call, quick time out,

we'll come back. We'll fix things out with a couple of phone calls. Eight six six to ninety seven two five seventy Clippers come back. They win one thirty five to one twenty nine over the Grizzlies. This is Clipper stock. You're on NAMP five seventy Eli scours George and Leonard running. You're listening to La Clippers Basketball. Top clipper puts it down plus the foul every

game all season long on their official home. Eric Morton six of seven, three or four from distance, hit them all from deep on the right wing. He had seventeen was a plus twenty game high plus twenty. Clippers come back down sixteen and the fourth to win one thirty five to one twenty nine over the Memphis Grizzlies. Patrick and Pasadena nice a little alliteration. Does he live there? Just because of that? Patrick? What's up here on Clippers

Stalk? Uh? Oh, nothing. You know. I'm originally from Minnesota, and I'd just like to say that, Uh, the Clippers are a good team. They're they're The addition of Russell Westbrook really adds another explosive quality that they didn't have before. And I think it's gonna be good for them in the playoffs. And you guys are blowing this five game losing straight out of proportion because you know there's the teams in the West are very even Denver

Nuggets. Uh, whether we lose to them in over time in that last I don't know. It's it's just it's not Pat sober No. I appreciate the phone call. Patrick. I am no. I'm just saying that the losing streak was too bad, but they only lost those games by a very small, you know, you know, a few points. So Patrick called back on Wednesday. Okay, my friend, what call back on Wednesday after the Clippers hopefully beat the Toronto Raptors before we get out of here. I

appreciate the phone called Patrick. We got a new segment with our girl producer Katie Newton. It's curious, Katie. That's what we're calling it. A one on one question Katie. What's up? Hey, how's it going? So Katie is gonna come on because I don't know if she's as big of a basketball fan as she she is a San Diego or now LA Chargers fan, and she's gonna ask some basketball questions. I think at the end of every show when I feel like, Katy, can you hear can you hear

me? I can hear you? Okay, Well, I wasn't sure. I didn't mean to just roll over you like, hey, I would just like lay out well because also we've we've never really with the one microphone. We're never sure, so I just swing over the one you normally have because you're in the bank. Mystery Mike works. Yeah, it does, Okay, Okay, So I was gonna ask one, but then I was like, no, I've got a different one because I ask you what's a jay before? But we'll ask that one another time. But it's a jumper.

I got it. Jumper, I got it. How that wasn't my question? What's a nice English? Nice English? Noah has said it several times and a little English on it? A little spin on the basketball? I think it actually the etymology of that. It comes from the game of pool. So you put a little spin on, you know, a little que ball and get it to go. And we got some guys who are adept at that. With the Clippers. Paul George likes a little spin on those

reverse layups sometimes. Anything else, sure, I can just go through them. What's a hammer? Oop? Last one? What's a hammer? Oop? A hammer oop? Yeah? No Oneh's said that too before. What you know, you've seen the New Thorn movie. You know what that is all right. Hold on, let me get dunk. Okay. I was gonna say it, throw down off a pass in the air, they catch and throw it down. I mean, okay, to be fair, the TV is behind me, so when it's like, you know, when it

happens, I'm not seeing it. I'm listening to you and Noah. I hope this segment continues, but I don't know. We're gonna have do something. We're gonna have to do some work here. Cake. I like it, though, I like. I don't. I don't. I didn't watching basketball. I don't know. I'm listening. Plenty of novices out there. I didn't even call you a casual. I mean I'm here. I know, corner. Oh, I like that. I poll over the weekend with knowledge. Okay, do you want to hit the out music so we can

get out of here tonight and you can go. I would have hit it a mouth or Clippers win one thirty five to one twenty nine over the Memphis Grizzlies from Crypto dot Com Arena where they will be on Wednesday and they'll be taking on the Toronto Raptors. Toronto is one three in a row. Do not overlook them. That Paul George quotes, that's what it has to be. This means nothing. If we don't buy into what we can do and what we can be, and we don't treat the next game the same way

we treated that fourth quarter tonight, then what are we doing here? Those church there's a leader. That's what they need. Before we get out of here. I do want to thank the Clippers organization and Noah Eagle what it called me, Bryan Stephen, Ralph Lawler, big brother, Jake Warner or head engineer here in downtown Los Angeles, Katie Newton, Katie's casual Corner. It's a great segment, riveting start, the callers, the listeners, the

sweeters. They'll give me that game until Wednesday at six pm with the pregame show, Clippers taken on the raptors, hopefully to be stopping something.
