Professor Tony Heagerty is Head of the School of Medical Sciences in The University of Manchester and Honorary Consultant Physician/Professor of Medicine at Manchester Foundation Trust. He is Past President of the British Hypertension Society, European Society of Hypertension and International Society of Hypertension. His research interests are in hypertension management, diabetes and obesity.
