Episode description

Juneteenth is an American holiday. On June 19 we celebrate the day when the last slaves who were in the confederate state of TX were freed. This happened two years after the Emanicpation Proclamation was passed.. Juneteenth is also called Liberation Day or Freedom Day.

World Sickle Cell was designated by the UN in 2008 as the day to raise awareness for Sickle Cell Disease.
