Marijuana is an approved medical treatment for opioid addiction in Pennsylvania. But Ed Mahon of SpotlightPA discovered that researchers don’t recommend cannabis as a primary treatment for opioid abuse — and that questionable claims by cannabis certification companies could put people’s lives in danger.
