Like pollinators everywhere, the bees native to the Houston area are struggling. Environmentalists say that’s in part due to honeybees, which came from Europe and often out-compete our homegrown species. As local honey and beekeeping grow in popularity, can a truce be reached? City Cast Houston environmental contributor Jaime González explains.
