How Nampa’s First Pride Festival Is Fighting Against Hate

Nampa’s first-ever Pride event is set for this Sunday at Lakeview Park from 1-4 p.m. But what started as a small group of locals throwing a last-minute party to celebrate the city’s LGBTQ residents has become a lightning rod for politics and hate.
