Summer in the Psalms

This is the first week of our series Summer in the Psalms. Psalm 1 is a fantastic Psalm with tons of practical wisdom. This weekend, we specifically looked at the Psalm in light of making decisions and learning to delight in God. God’s no often precedes His yes, and fruit comes seasonally. We live in a world obsessed with success. But we are not called to success; we are called to long and faithful obedience. We give everything we can within the limits of how God created us and trust Him with the results. When we are faithful, God will see to it that we are fruitful.
