Episode description

Dr. Dennis Hall begins this podcast by examining feelings of hate and describing the differences between anger and contempt. He explains how studies have demonstrated that hate can spread from one generation to another more easily than anger. Studies have also shown that hate can develop from stories told by others and be just as intense as if they had experienced it themselves. Hate crimes in the U.S. are discussed, especially the significant increase in hate crimes against Jews. The murder of Mary Fagan and the lynching of Jewish businessman Leo Frank is discussed as an example of anti-semitism. Dr. Hall suggests that anti-semitism began after The Ten Commandments were given to the nation of Israel. He points out how the Christian world blamed Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus contributing to anti-semitism. Some of the myths and falsehoods about Jewish people are discussed. The discrimination against Jews is reviewed. The podcast ends with Dr. Hall asking listeners to pray for Israel and the victims of the war on Israel.  Can also  be seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/XMKN8uEFHGw
