Senators-Wrong Message

Ordained, minister, Dr. Dennis Hall points out that 50 senators voted against approving Pete Hegseth as the next Secretary of Defense. This Fox news host and decorated combat veteran was the subject of a smear campaign carried out by political opponents, but he did not deny that he was guilty of infidelity in a previous marriage and that there were some instances of excessive drinking. This man openly gives credit to his current wife and relationship with Jesus Christ as the reason that he became a changed man. Dr. Hall demonstrates how uniquely qualified Pete Hegseth is and how the ability of God lives within him. Dr. Hall uses the sex scandals and misconduct allegations of previous commanders-in-chief to put the objection to Hegseth in perspective. He goes on to review a long list of famous biblical characters that had mammoth issues in their lives from impurity, depression, and unfaithful spouses and broken families. Dr. Hall makes the point that our weaknesses, our failings, and our mistakes are part of why God calls us and gives us opportunities to serve because he knows that we are depending on him.
