Episode description

In an effort to kill the baby Jesus, Herod the Great orders all the male children under two years old in the Bethlehem area to be killed. Acknowledging how deeply the killing of children offends our moral sensibilities, Dr. Dennis Hall reviews the many times in Scripture that children are killed because of the sins of mankind and reflects on contemporary catastrophic events that have killed children. He points out that God has the right to allow the end of life for everyone on earth, including children. Children who have not reached the age of accountability when they die experience immediate salvation. The role of Satan in evil is discussed. The children killed by the evil king, Herod the Great, were well below the age of accountability and God provided them immediate salvation, free from the pain and sorrow of this world. It is an important part of the history of the birth of Jesus. Can also be see on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/joAL1jrrxbQ.
