Creation Story and Science

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, and his special guest John Pitts discuss the science behind the creation story in the Bible. These two Bible scholars focus on the Bible’s description of God creating the heavens and earth and man in six days. Some time is spent discussing the timeline of creation and acknowledging that God is outside of time. Einstein’s law of relativity tells us that the flow of time in locations with high gravity and high velocity are actually slower than other locations with lower gravity and lower velocity. Their discussion concludes that perhaps 15 million years in cosmic time would only be six days on earth. The question of how Adam and Eve could populate the entire earth was addressed along with adaptations that have led to multiple races among men.
