An Assassination Attempt-Evil Pronouncements

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the difference between unbecoming political rhetoric and evil pronouncements and how it may have played a role in the assassination attempt. He points to the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12 outlining the nine gifts of the spirit, including the spirit of discernment. Those with the gift of discernment should be providing insight into where evil pronouncements are leading our nation. Using Scripture, the responsibility of every Christian to be discerning is outlined. He points out that the gift of discernment is really the ability to think biblically. The gift of discernment can be destructive and dangerous even though it is desperately needed. We can detect what is right and wrong or true and false when we saturate our minds with the word of God.
