089 - Season 5 is Alive!

Season 5 is alive! Very reliable sources (Ausiello, Variety, Deadline, and others) are reporting that against all odds, NBC will be renewing Chuck for a fifth season! NBC has not yet made an official announcement, but it could come at any time, and certainly by Sunday at 2pm, when they announce their fall line-up in a conference call.

Chuck is firing on all cylinders… the writers have certainly found their groove, as evidenced in the awesome "Chuck vs. the Last Details," written by Henry Alonso Myers and Kristin Newman. We have a lot of fun talking all about this episode!

Let's thank Chuck's advertisers, who certainly played a big part in seeing Chuck renewed -- in addition to keeping up the #NotANielsenFamily Twitter campaign, why don't you find a way to incorporate one or more of Chuck's advertisers into your finale party, and then tell them about it!
