Episode 113 | Monday Message With Frantzces The Last Lesson

On the last lesson, we talked about living abroad although it can be lonely at times, it also teaches you how to enjoy your own company. Many of us have a lot of distractions and people around that it gets in the way of us getting to know ourselves better.

Being alone also helps to build our resiliency because we have to navigate new nuances on a daily basis.

On today’s Monday Message, the last lesson that Frantzces learned was how self-care improves your quality of life.

Some of us aren’t sure what a “good” quality of life looks like because we haven’t ventured outside of our regular grind. However, when you move abroad, you have nothing but time to focus on yourself.

The term self-care is tossed around a lot but that’s only because it matters a lot. When we focus on ourselves it may feel selfish but it isn’t. It’s the most important act of courage that you can display. Because when you’re okay, everything else around you is even better.

I’ll leave you with this quote by Katie Reed, “Self-care is giving the world the best of you and not the rest of you.”

So this Monday Message is just another reminder to take care of yourself. Don’t wait to do this!
