INTERVIEW: David France

In this episode, Matthew Groves interviews David France, a photojournalist/documentary filmmaker who made the film, How to Survive a Plague, about the AIDS activist group ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power). Mining an astounding amount of footage taken from various camcorders, specifically from members of ACT UP, David France, in his feature debut presents a beautiful, inspiring, and vital story about people banding together to fight for their lives despite the overwhelming fear and paranoia as well as a crippling disease.
