We're going to start in on day two of my super hot VR playthrough. This is the last day. It only took me two days to get through this. It's a pretty short game. The game does get a little weird from here, but in the best way. It's really, really cool, I think. There's
some neat stuff here. Yeah, I don't really have much more to add to it, so without any further ado, here's Superhot VR. Alright, hacker voice, I'm in. Again. Now, you may recall from yesterday, a white disk came out of one of the computers. And we're going to put that into another one and see what it's got waiting for us. Just put that in there. Wait for it to load. And here we go. Grab the headset and we're in. Yet again. Okay, I am now back in the white void. It's showing
me controllers and my fists. I can clench them, pull the triggers, and it looks like... Yep, I can blow people up from a distance. Looks like I've got some sort of power. I'm standing in a jail cell. I just blew that guy up, and we just grabbed the pyramid. Now, oh, that's interesting. Now that I've done that, my hands are all wobbly. They're moving like they're glitched in some way. Try again. Okay, we've got two guys. One's got a gun. Let's blow him up. And then we can
dodge his bullet and punch his buddy. Easy. Again. Now I am standing in an open area. There's two guys on a balcony above me. They both have Uzis. Can I zap them both? Can I zap them? Why isn't the zapping working? The zapping's not working. Why isn't the zapping working? Okay, well, I guess we dodge these bullets. Do a little neo. Wah. Oh, here we go. There. Popped one of them. My hands are all glitchy again. It must be a result of using the power. But I can keep dodging
his bullets until I get it back. Oh, there's a countdown. Two. So I saw a three, now a two. Hands are starting to come back to normal. Just keep dodging. One. Dodge again. Wait for the bullet to get past me and then I can step aside. Again. Okay. So it's got a... It's got a countdown. I can only use it so frequently. Yeah. Super. Hot. Yeah. This is fun playing this again. Alright. Next stage. Okay. Back in the white void. I've got what looks like a... Hat? No. It's a dog
bowl? Yeah, dog bowl. Bark, bark. Three guys in front of me. Throw. Zap. Duck punch. And pop. Done. Not too bad. Oh, there were tools next to me, too. Shoot them. Oh, there's a gun in front of me. Got three guys. They're all below me. This looks a lot like the part of the Vertigo stage in Counter -Strike. That's funny. Okay, let's shoot at the guy with the Uzi. And now the... Oh, who shot me? Bond. James Bond. Okay, dog bowl. Throw. Zap. And punch. Punch. Crap.
Okay. Back to here. Shoot. Grab this. Oh, there's a guy down. Immediately blow. So, pop him. Grab his bullet. Pop him. Dodge that. Dodge that. Okay, now there's just the farthest away. Can I get him? Oh, got him. Sweet. Not too bad. Grab him. Okay. Now we're in a different part of that same vertigo area. No guns around me. Except the ones pointed at me. I've got a guy on my right and a guy with a shotgun on my left. Let's just zap this guy. A martini. Shaken, not stirred.
Okay. So the zapping... Did zapping advance this time? Pretty fast. I have to be careful. Alright. Dog bowl. You know what? I'm just gonna Bruce Lee these two. Well, I meant to. Guess I zapped one instead. Alright, now shoot them. Guy right here. Guy up here. Dodge a bullet. Block a bullet. Yep. Oh, I missed that third guy. Let's take another shot. Ah, ran out of bullets. Well, throw the gun at him. And zap. That'll do it. Nice having that extra tool of the ranged zap. Okay.
Two guys. One right by me. Throw a cup at him. Nope. Cup blocked a bullet. Shotgun shot got me. Alright. Dog bowl. Zap. And punch. Pyramid. Pick up pistol. Shoot the guy below me. Guy to the left. Nope. This never happened to the other fella. Didn't get the guy below me. Dog bomb. Advance time. Let's just punch these two. Pop. And pop. Alright. Handgun. Guy below me. Guy to my left. Aim for the guy to the right. Got him. Alright. Throw a cup. No. Throw a cup. I'm
gonna dock. Okay. Nope. Damn. Dog roll. Advance time. Let's do a punch and a punch. Okay. Grab pistol guy below me. Guy to my left. Guy to the right. Got him! Let me see. I think after this I spawn down there. Let's throw this gun over there. And... And see if that helps. Gun missed. Throw a cup. Throw another cup. Okay. Got the guy to my right. His gun's coming toward me. Let's grab this bottle for a block. Grab this gun. I don't think I'm going to be able to hit
him before he gets my cover. Let's advance time a little bit. Guy to my left. Still coming. He just unloaded his shotgun into the pillar, which means I can just shoot. Bray's coming out. Got him. That'll do it. Right. Got three. One in front of me. One to my left. Two to my left. Two of the left have Uzis. One has a pistol. I'm behind some concrete blocks. I'm just going to crouch. There's a gun down here. Let's grab that. And we can take care of this one to my
right. And now this one. Nope. Well, that didn't work out. Do you expect me to talk? All right. Dog ball. Throw. Advance time. Punch. Nope. No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die. Dog ball. Advance time. Duck punch. Duck punch. Okay. Grab pyramid. Pistol. Guy below me. Guy to my left. Guy to my right. Got him. Wait. Let's throw the gun at where that other guy appears this time. Pyramid? Oh, that's not where he appeared. Throw cup. Throw cup. Ooh, that's close. Throw cup. Throw
cup. That wasn't a cup. Grab his gun. Shoot. Rude gun. Nope. Mr. Smith and Wesson, you've had your six. Dog bowl. Advance. Dodge punch. Punch back. There we go. And punch back. Good. Pistol. Guy Pelloni. Missed. Uh, that makes this more complicated. Let's block his bullet. Try again. Got him. Guy to my left. Nope. Dogball! Advance. Dodge, punch. Punch back. Dodge, punch. Punch again. Got him. Handgun. Guy below me. Guy to my left. Guy to my right. Got him. Okay.
Okay. Guy to my right. Let's do cup. Dodge his bullet. Dodge the shotgun blast. Another cup. Missed that too. Okay. I think... These shotgun shells won't hit. Oh, that one's going to hit me. Why is it people who can't take advice always insist on giving it? Double throw. Advance time for Bruce Lee. Just hit him preemptively this time. Pop and pop. Grab pyramid. Handgun. Guy below. Guy to my left. Guy to my... Got him. Let's throw a few things toward the guy that's
giving me so much trouble. Nope, that didn't work. Alright. Throw a cup at him. Slowly dodge. Bullet. You know what? I'm gonna crouch down. Can I... Blocked a shot. Now we throw the cup. Can I just... Nope, I can't zap him. Let's grab bullet. Yeah, okay. Advance time. Get closer, buddy. Let me just take that pistol off your hand. Shoot. And... Shoot. Got him. Okay. I think taking that pistol might be the key to that round. Next one. Okay, we got three guys in the window.
Let's do a bottle at the first one. Nope, that didn't work. We'll just duck down and pistol. Shoot. Ah, there's two now. Let's see. This one to the left. Let's shoot and dodge. Yep, okay. That seems good. Seems good. And one to the right. Pop. Pop. There we go. Got him. That's all three. Pyramid. Hammer time. I'm now standing in front of two hammers. The guy with the shotgun to my right. Three hammers, actually. Let's pick this one up and throw. Nope. Now I have to do all
that again. Some men are coming to kill us. We're going to kill them first. Oof. This is definitely the hardest stage so far. Dog bowl. Advance time. We're just gonna give him a little punch. And a little punch. Dog bowl. Apparently I died to that somehow. I don't see how. Punch. Dodge. And punch. Okay. Pyramid. Gonna grab a handgun. Guy below me. Guy to my left. Guy to my right. Bottle. Ooh. Blocked two shots with those bottles. That was very helpful. Actually, let me see.
Can I... Oh, he missed. Let me see if I can grab his pistol. Come on, pistol, pistol, pistol. Yeah, got it. Okay. Shoot him. Gun to bear on the guy to the left as he's coming around the corner. And got it. Whew. I don't know where I... go next from here. So I guess let's just grab. Okay. Oh yeah. These guys with the window. Bottle. Nope. So, duck. Pistol. Shoot. Guy to the left. Shoot. Shoot. Blocked his pistol, or his bullet, but that worked. And now back to
the right. Got him. Okay. Ready up. Next stage. Hammer time. You know what? I'm just gonna zap him. Yeah, that worked. Why am I messing around with these hammers? Okay. I am now at the top of a balcony behind that guy. There's three in front of me. I've got four guns. Let's grab an Uzi. And I think we just... Spray? Ooh, okay. I don't think any of this is going to hit me. Except maybe those two, so we'll block those. Another spray. Got two. There's two left. Oh,
this Uzi's empty. Let's... Got a couple bullets coming in, so we'll block that one. We'll drop Uzi, pick up pistol. Aim and fire. Block that shot. And... Boy. Okay, looks like that one's blocked too, so... Fire. Oh man. This guy to my left is just not in a good position for me to fire at. Throw? Try throwing. Is this gonna land on his head? Come on, come on, come on, come on. Nope. Hit a wall. Where'd he go? That guy just, like, fucked off somewhere. Hey, buddy.
Oh, there he is. I see him. I don't think I can... Can I hit him? Oh, I can hit him. Got him. Tough round. Back to the open light space. Two Uzis in front of me. Let's just grab those. Fierce competition. I see one, two, three, four guys. Let's see if I can just... dual wield these. Oh. Well, I killed three, but one of them got away. Got him. That was a fun one. I was like, that's some Goldeneye 007 shit. Alright. Standing behind a computer, I see four guys. One of them's
got a shotgun. There's a pistol in front of me, so we're gonna grab that. Fire at the shotgun guy. Ooh, there's a girder coming towards me. Let's duck. And fire at the guy on my left. Ooh, missed. Fire on the left. Left. There we go. Now there's one guy left. Pop. Ah, I missed. No, I didn't miss. I got him. Sweet. Ooh. Alright. A knife to a gunfight. Two guys, one with a pistol directly in front of me. There's a knife in front of me. Grab that. Okay. Uh, boy. If I throw this,
I'm pretty sure he just kills me. Like that. I always hated this place. Alright, back to the two Uzis. Let's see if I can do better this time. That's pretty badass. Pyramid? Grab this pistol. Guy on my left with the shotgun. Goodbye. Duck the girder. Guy on my left. Shoot. Got him. Guy less to my left with the handgun. Fire. Oh, missed. There we go. Got him. Knife to a gunfight. Grab knife. I'm just going to use it to block his bullet. Yeah, buddy. Come on. Keep advancing.
A little closer. Yeah, there we go. Let me just grab this pistol from you. Throw. Okay. Two more showed up. So now I've got one in a balcony above me. One to the right with a handgun. One to the left with nothing. Guy on the balcony has an Uzi. Let's see if I can hit him while he's running. No. Okay, pistol boy shot at me, but he's got bad aim. Let's see if we can take him out. Yeah, that'll do it. Oh shit, there's a car coming. I think it's going to run this last guy over.
Nope. I just had to shoot him. Oh, there's another two more coming. Two more coming. I don't think I have any bullets left. Shoot. Yep, I was right. I don't. Oh, there's Uzis next to me. Grab one of these. I can use this pistol as a shield. And spray. Spray. Spray. Got him. Is that everybody? Oh shit, there's one to the right with a shotgun. That got him. Here. Back to the blank space. There's an axe in front of me this time. Hijack. Two guys. One to my left, one to my right. Let's
axe the guy on the right. Axe him. There we go. And guy on my left. Got him. I am in what appears to be an airplane cockpit. I think I just killed the pilot and co -pilot. This seems uncomfortable. See how it plays out. Grab the pyramid. Oh, got three guys. Two with knives directly in front of me. Looks like I'm in the... Like that steward area. Pop. Grab knife. Cut. Cut. Cut. Okay. I got both their knives. I got two more guys coming at me. Let's just throw knives. Got him. That
did it. Okay. To my right is a bar with a guy and a shotgun. Guy with a pistol directly in front of me. Let's grab pistol. Aim to the guy to my right. He's the immediate danger. Fire. Not exactly Christmas, is it? Were you expecting an exploding pen? Guy down the aisle killed me. All right. Axe on left, right. Punch on left. Got it. Pyramid. Three guys. Butts. Punch. Grab knife. Punch. Grab knife. Throw knives. That did it. Grab pyramid. Okay. Pistol. Bring it
around. Aim and fire right. Duck. Yep. Okay. Dodge the shotgun blast. And now that I'm crouched, let's just fire. Shotgun blast, but I think if I block this one... Yep, got him. Anybody else? Nope. Pyramid. Escape. I see two guys. I'm in the seats now. There's a pistol in front of me. Two guys. Three guys. Let's grab this pistol. Dodge bullet. Dodge bullet. Fire. And we'll take the guy at the back, too. Dodge bullet. There's a shotgun here. Can I get the shotgun down out
of the overhead compartment? I can. All right. Let's see if I can take both these guys with one blast. Boom. Got them. That's probably why they don't allow shotguns on airplanes. Next. Okay. All the way in the back of the plane. There's a hatch to my right going down. Two guys. One to my left, one to my right. I have an Uzi. Let's pick that up. And we'll just shoot this guy on my left because he's got a shotgun. Nope. I don't know if I trust you either. That's what makes
it more exciting, doesn't it? Shotgun blasts just travel so fast. All right. Axe. Cut. Hand cut. Got both those guys. Grab pyramid. Okay. Let's reach out and punch. Grab knife. Stab. Nope. Do you lose as gracefully as you win? I wouldn't know. I've never lost. Axe. Cut. And cut. Do that. Pyramid. Advance time. Punch. Grab knife. Punch. Grab knife. Throw knives. Done. Pyramid. Okay. Pistol. This is the bar area with the guy to my right. Let's aim and fire as I
duck. Block two of the shotgun shells. That worked. And aim and fire. Might die before this gets to me. Nope. But I can block. Yep. Blocked. He's still not dead. There we go. Got him. There's martini glasses here that I can throw at them. Very 007. Escape. Grab pistol. Block bullet. Turn. Let's dodge that one and fire. I said fire. There we go. Grab Uzi. This guy to my left. I think I can hit him. Do that. Yep, that took him out. Block the shotgun shells. These two,
let's use Uzi. And that took him out. Back room. Guy to my left with shotgun. Guy to my right. Uzi in front of me. Pick up Uzi. Aim and fire. Yep, got the guy on my left. Got the guy on my right. Anybody else? No. Okay. Pyramid. Okay, I am down that hatch now. Guy in front of me with a knife. Guy around the corner as well. Let's reach out and punch. Grab knife. Throw knife. Take gun. Now we have all the time in the world. So there was something to my left.
It was like a corkscrew pattern that descended, revealing another guy with a handgun, and he shot me. So, try this again. Axe to the right. Axe to the left. Done with that. German. Knife, guys. Let's punch, grab knife. Punch, grab knife. Throw. Got those. Okay. Pistol to my right. Bring it around and fire and crouch. Okay. Shotgun blast went off, but I think I can... Yep. Looks like I can dodge that. So now we just aim and fire. That should kill him. Let's just advance
time a little bit. Maybe block a couple of these bullets. And there he goes. Nice. Sherman. Okay. Handgun. Dodge. Fire. Got him. Okay. Gun to bear on the guy to my left. Fire. Got him. Okay, now there's one on the left, one on the right this time. They came in different spots. Let's see if that worked. Yep, got him. Back room. Grab Uzi. Bring it up. Fire on shotgun guy. Got him. Fire on guy to my right. Got him. Alright, downstairs. This is where I died last time. Oh, it's the
landing gear. That's what's to my left. Okay. We're gonna punch, grab knife, throw knife, reach out, duck to dodge bullet, and grab pistol, and fire. Got him. Whew. Yeah. Pyramid. And we're out. Okay. We're back in the... Computer room. What? I don't... Whoa, that's pretty creepy, huh? Where could this be going after all this? I guess you'll just have to finish the season to find out.
