Episode description

Some listeners may not be aware that the nation is divided: one side wishes to acknowledge the good, bad, AND ugly of this nation’s past. While the other believes in burying the same. We have become a species who believes “humans have obviously evolved into a society that knows right from wrong,” and we here, as Americans, are generally taught to do good, for and to others… but then there’s the other side of that coin. Again the erroneous belief versus the nation’s consensus: We KNOW how this country was established, but should one mention the white-washing of our shared history, hackles are raised. Parents are fighting so that their children won’t learn anything bad (we don’t want anyone to feel guilty!), or learn how bad things have gotten “in the past.” Sedition, civil revolt, mass murder, and countless more events that our children (here in the red states; c’mon Dems! Save our children too!) should NOT be privy to! Remember me? I’m the spotlight on this nation’s history.. and I’m just getting warmed up!
