Episode description

LIVE episode! We’ve all got them! These tendencies.. because we’re from all different ethnicities, and some of us believe that our culture’s history gives us permission to be verbally (or physically) abusive to others. But just because we can’t admit that we have these tendencies, doesn’t mean they’re ok to have! I admit to the tendency to generalize people when I’ve been wronged or personally offended. But the first step is to stop denying racism exists. But that is a problem; some of us don’t want to admit to guilt, or even acknowledge reality. And until each of us can accept our due responsibility, we will continue to maintain the blinders against racism. Yes, it is systemic, but we’re all a part of this system, y’all.. Admission erases animosity and accountability can then resurface.
