Christian Research Journal Reads presents audio versions of Christian Research Journal articles. As the flagship publication of the Christian Research Institute, the journal seeks to equip followers of Christ to think and to live christianly, to exercise truth and experience life. Truth, especially essential Christian doctrine, forms the
basis for how we live our lives in Christ. As the Apostle Paul instructed Timothy in One Timothy four sixteen, we are to watch our lives and doctrine closely, persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. The journal consists of thousands of free articles on Christian discernment and apologetics, specializing in in depth research of new religious movements, atheism origins including intelligent design, theistic evolution and scientific naturalism, aberrant Christian movements and teachings, ethical issues, historical and philosophical apologetics, and cultural discernment and apologetics, for example,
in film, television, media, theology, technology, and literature. The online Journal provides Christians information they need to discern doctrinal errors, evangelize people of other faiths or no faith, and provide a strong defense of Christian beliefs and
ethics. The online Journal's mission is both evangelistic and pastoral. Evangelistic in that it is dedicated to furthering the proclamation and defense of the historic Gospel of Jesus Christ, pastoral in that it's dedicated to equipping his followers to identify and distinguish between essential Christian doctrine and doctrine that's peripheral, aberrant, or heretical, and ultimately, to help members of Christ's body to experience his promise of life,
that is, life to the full in union with God in Christ. In its approach to this mission, the journal strives to be scholarly, unreadable, uncompromising, and charitable, offering analysis and critiques that are biblically and rationally and factually sound.
