Episode description

Sit back, pour yourself a drink and join GB News' Political Editor Christopher Hope at his regular table in a Westminster pub where he will discuss the latest insider political intrigue and gossip with everyone from popstars to politicians. New episodes released every Friday.

This week, Christopher Hope speaks to Tory leadership candidate Kemi Badenoch, one of the favourites who has made it into the final four of the competition.

The shadow Housing secretary revealed for the first time how she decided as a lowly local government minister to run for the Tory leadership against more experienced politicians two years ago.

Badenoch surprised Westminster by beating more experienced Cabinet ministers and making it to the fourth round of six voting rounds by MPs before being eliminated in July 2022.

Two years later she is now one of the favourites to succeed Rishi Sunak as Conservative leader.
