Um so I wanted to recap the live show if that was cool with show. Um this episode is going to drop a week after
the live show, but to us, it was last night. So how was it? How good was I? What was your favorite part? Was it when Jermaine made me tostino Titti's well, let's let me let me okay, al kay, let's let's huh recap that small go ahead event that happened yesterday. You were in dire need of, um, you know, some type of cloth, you know, just to help you out with your respiratory issue that you had going on. What I'm saying respiratory or prespiratory I was
still on from yesterday a little bit. So yeah, so the sweating issue that we had, everybody was moving very slow. I decided to be a gentleman because about my seat, put my ass on my chest and hand you a napkin. That napkin just so happened that at a piece of ship. Were you eating chips? Was it your natural? Okay, but that wasn't my ship. This issue. Let me tell you from my stident. I'm just gonna tell you that I tried to see the date and help you out
while everybody else was pushy footing around you, dragging feet. So if we're being honest, I should probably get a pat on the back of anybody, you know what I mean. I seen it from behind the DJ booth. He's like searching around and he picked it. Dampkin up. This brother. As soon as he picked up I started cracking up because I knew he just had a handful of chips napkin. It was like, this is gonna end bad. So all I know is he hind you the napkin. He was
cool. He did a gentleman he has with the coral. Next thing, you know, you're patting yourself And that's because she was supposed that that that put it back down. Boom, that's how I supposed to work. You're giving it a flat, giving him all of this, Like, man, it has to be a performance. Get the point when I said it's really a chocolate chipping. No, it was quickly your feet with that. I like that. Of all the things that happened, y'all only wanted to talk
about the chip. No. No, there was the one guy that we talked about. Oh yeah, I probably gonna edit that out. I'm probably gonna I'm probably gonna edited. But all honestly, it was it was a great dialogue between um, you and uh somebody between you two. Um, you know what y'all intellect and how well you guys speak on these topics, speak on these topics that we talk about on a Delhi basis, or that
we discussed on the Delhi basis. It real transparent, opened up a lot, and it was interesting to me, interesting to see everybody engaged in the in the room too. Oh y'all mess y'all meshed really well, don't just go ahead, don't be just go ahead. Care I felt like you just did the mom drawn because I want you to look nice. Yeah, that's what my mom stick into this. Just go y'all interaction with each other's se was was pure, genuine. It seemed like y'all been doing it. It
was a great vibe. The crowd loved every part of it. Um. It was great, just the whole interaction, the whole event, the whole taping. Everything was a dope, dope time. Thank you man. I'm trying to point to you under the hold on. Um. So I appreciate you guys, right, and I feel like there is a lost art of friendship and not just between men, not just between women, but really between sexes. So I wanted to talk today about female friends and the importance of men having female friends. Got to have them, Yes, I totally agree. I support that. Thanks for coming to our ted talk because what that's it, fellas, is this camera on me. You need to have
female friends. They keep you grounded. I always hit stormy up, y'all, is this is this bullshit? Shu do I need to do? This? Is this conversations like that we need to have with females as gonna be totally honest with you. Stormy is a very very honest person. She's she can be an a hole, but she's very honest. And that's why our friendship will always stay the way it is because I know she's not gonna fee me, no be it. She's not a yes woman. It's not a
big dog. That ain't it ain't big dogs. We were literally contact. We will contact each other for information for like either creative ideas or just life ideas, and we are both responses if it ain't it a dog. I think that I appreciate having been that I can call, like, you know, my actual friends, because it really comes to handing when you're dating, like sometimes you be in your mind thinking you tripping, like sometimes I got hit stand up like yo, nigga, is it me? Like it's or
it isn't him because I feel like it's him. And sometimes Stammy like you be fucking with bitches, and I'm like, okay, I asked you all that. I'm saying, like it's good to have that. We're not gonna We're not gonna like that now. I don't call him that or I guarantee he's light skinned. It's one of the other and they don't always be light skinned. I'm pretty sure the majority of the time, nine times out of nine they've been they have not, they have not. But he does say
like you you just you have a certain type like Divins Stevens. You haven't heard any tall, dark and handsome talk from you ever. So my last boyfriend was tall, dark and handsome. And where is he now? What's going on? Brother? God jail? Hi didn't both of us straight like that? I felt like we both called it straight the fuck but just a
piggyback off what Sam's talking about. It is it is good to have um opposite sex friends obviously to talk to about any and everything, because he can't call me all the time because I'm gonna I'm going to give him the wrong answer one one out of ten times, maybe because just off of the genuine like I'm a man, he's a man coming from a male perspective, and
these are the things that we probably have in common and speak about. But you know, he could call you, get a different perspective and then move forward, maybe accordingly the right way. I think women are more likely to tell you when you're doing wrong, like for men. I think if you have a female friend, she's more likely to tell you like that's kind of fucked up. But if you have like a male friend of like you know, bit just be trimping like we do that. We still keep women give
them the truth. But I'm and die to tell man when he's wrong. That's not that's not to put that out here. Oh you asked me, brother, you're wrong. You know what. I'm glad you asked because now that you bring it up, like yeah, yeah, no, no, I think that sometimes it's hard for men to get out of their perspective like
you were saying and look at it and be like a devil's advocate. I think women are much more talented, and being a devil's advocate them in a majority, I would say, yeah, there's something that can that can definitely step outside of the box and definitely see I want to say, putting myself in your shoes. But like me myself, I grew up a lot of women, so I kind of get the perspective and see where you guys coming
from. Not a woman, so I won't know one hundred percent, but just through conversation and even like I said, having a friend like you for twenty years, I can call you and ask you something and it's like, Dan, that lines up with the same thing I had in my mind or was thinking about. So coming from a place of growth in hindsight, what's the worst advice you gave somebody or the worst advice you received? And it's like, I shouldn't asked you. I knew I shouldn't ask you. You
know what I knew he was gonna say that. I don't even know why I asked you, Like something you can think of off the top of your head. I have a one home is crazy. He's always at the end of these like conversations because it's just be happening to be talking. He doesn't really give me no advice. He just says the normal. Damn, that's crazy. That's it. They don't give me no, no going forward, now, left, no right. It's just that's crazy. I don't know
how you're doing do that. I don't want to be don't want to tell you this. But he don't give a fuck about your conversation. He didn't hit you with ford. That's crazy. And you keep telling him the story and it's crazy, crazy crazy right time, wrong person, Like I gotta be thinking about something like that, that's crazy. I gotta do that. He'd be like, yeah, damn, that's crazy, all right. Worst advice I don't think he wants to be your friends. Then that's fine.
I'm friends with everyone. Oh my gosh, I don't. I don't. I think the worst advice, I god is the advice that people don't take for themselves. So a lot of the times, you know, and I'm I'm a I'm a big advocate of it. Sometimes it's like I can really give you answers, but then I can't. You can dish it, but you can't take it. Not that I can't take it. Pause. Um, that's what she said. It's just one of those grew up man. It's just one of those things where it's one of those things where, Um,
like I said, Patty, you can give advice. You can give like a good word or two the right direction to go into, But like I said, I can't take my own advice. I might not be able to follow the steps I need to to get to that next step or that next space. If you're not able to take your own advice, does that qualify you to give advice or does it depend on the topic. I think it does depend on the topic because sometimes you can't speak on things that you
haven't been through. But if you that's just like a sports analyst they had They're not professional athletes, but at the same time, they speak on professional topics every single day because they have a perspective. People respect their their perspective and respect the years in time they put into whatever they've been studying her.
Or let me talking about I got one girlfriend. I got one girlfriend, and I, hey, will contact her to tell her story, but I already know I'm never gonna say none of her advice because she can be like, yeah, hit that nigga, like WHOA says no like or she like yeah, cut that nigga off. Like her goal to was always you're done. Like I know for a fact I'm going to get her up to be
a sound board, but not to get advice. You got to one friends guard gonna say yeah, hey, yeah that yeah yeah, because it'll keep you humble at some point, like damn, I should go for that, I go get hurt. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. That's for me. Really. Yes, he probably won't say it. I never say that, but he definitely would be like man, I told him we would be working together, and I'm like, yo, if I were get into a
space, tell me stop bitching. Oh no, listen, he can't now now he has fun with it. Yeah, no, because what I call him I hit him up. I let you do I know, let you get your rent off. I let you get yours off once in a while, a lot of pausing. Gotta be careful, he gotta be careful when you have these conversations. To be careful or to be careful, I'm gonna chop up all the ship and it's just gonna be all the flagrant and zesty stuff. No pause, nose. And then at the end I'm at passe,
Yo, you are ridiculous. No, he will go into a rant. I let him get his rant off. And then I'm like, yo, how bitch's gonna get the money? You go get the bad, get the back. Are you right? And we keep it moving. Um. So we were talking a little bit about, you know, having friends of the opposite sex and the benefits that they bring to your life when they are able to give you advice and offer different perspectives and things that you may not
have thought of. Right, how is it when you get in a relationship like do you automatically feel like you have to cut your female friends off or like, do you look at it as you know, they was here before you, they're gonna be here after you. So it is what it is like, it's kind of a more so Yo, that's my if. That's like my dog, Like if I get into relationship. First of all, they probably you know who you are, the joint that you being in the
podcast with. Yeah, oh yeah she cool. They love you. I don't know every girl to ever run into oh yeah she's so come like she's really not. But you here to hate you, here to hate coming off that you you got some nerve Germain, would you like to ask? Yeah. So as far as being in a relationship, well, I haven't been
in relationships, Um, by choice, by choice. I'm just saying if, if, and when I do get in a relationship, UM, I don't think that it's necessary to like cut everybody off, but there does have to be boundaries established, and there has to just be a sense of communication about who's who, how long has this person been around. If it's a new friend, we discuss it. But if it's somebody, like I said, you know me and you've been friends for twenty years. I just can't
cut storm me out of my life. That's it's not how but she thought it's crazy. I feel like, if y'all are really platonic friends shouldn't matter. No, your female friend is want to respect you being in a relationship. And she's like, okay, Like if if we are, y'all getting relationship today or tomorrow, I know that, Like, yo, I can't hit y'all up after a certain time at night, right, I think I
gonna do what I want to do. No, No, I mean like, if y'all live in a relationship, I'm not going to hit you up like a twelve o'clock at night. And then like nine times i'd send I'm not gonna want end but singing you this fucking emoji right here. So it's like I know that I also am not going to be able to talk to you about certain things. I know. It's like certain things we're not going to be able to do together, like just out of respect for you and
your relationship. And if if I'm really your friend, you don't have to check me on that because I should know, like he can't do that he's in a relationship. No, that's facts she wasn't lancing. Everybody's hiding that with everybody. Don't think um, so, do you think it's hard for women to set up boundaries when they have male friends and when they're male friends getting relationship. I think it's hard for everybody. I don't think it's just
women. I don't think it's gender. I don't think it's gener bias. I think it's more so some people just don't know how to separate. Yeah, you know what, that is my dog and then still my dog. I want my lady or vice versa. I guess that's my homeboy. But because you know other other option sexual you're mate sometimes do tend to get jealous over like the little stuff that you know that's not even really there. It's just you. Why nigga, why are you laughing at nigga jokes so much?
Because he funny? Nigga? Like, you'n't laughing none of my ship. Maybe you're not funny nigga. What I do remember the story telling me this one time she said, Remember it was like the second time I was on the show, and whoever the guy that you are guess talking to it that point in time, it was like, why are you laughing at Stanley jokes. Stupid versus when you talk to me a thing to worry about. Maybe you need to go watch some comic views and get your view. Don't
getting one of these new jokes, because you'll get you get canceled. That not comic view back, go back to comic view. Yep. But but you know what's crazy, that's a turn off for me, Like especially for it to be so simple, like you're upset that I laugh at Stanley jokes.
That's corny, that's and that's what I was about to allude to as far as like insecurity, like when it comes to when it come to like my man went to college, come on, come on, come on, asks all right, listen, when you started thinking about the insecurities that people have, that's what they need to like check before they start to ask those type of questions. Because why am I worried about you laughing at jokes from him? Because you're gonna laugh at jokes from the comedian. You're gonna laugh
at jokes from the person that was telling the corny as joke. You're just gonna laugh because that might just be you, but or a joke just might be funny. But my man, you can't take that appoint yourself to making a personal thing like laughing at Stanley jokes. You got something going on. I'm funny, it's fun I don't know. That's why I'm saying Stanley because he ain't that funny. So it's like he's not. He's just he told jokes like actual viewers. They love me. Okay, well said, we're
gonna go to a quick break. You know what another thing is if you think that males and females can't be platonic friends. I'm assumed you didn't get no coucie growing up. M that's a that's a good one. That's somebody that might be a good one. What about a woman's perspective? The same thing. I think that if you believe no, no, no, no, no, no, you at growing up? No no, no, you're right, you're right, you're right, right, you're right, you're
right. I think that if you're a woman and you believe that men and women can't be platonic friends, you can't control your coucie. And that sounds like a you problem. You can't first set out on everybody else, like if you've never been able to have a conversation with a man without having the urge to offer your vagina, Like that's crazy. But that's also a you thing with the men. It's like, if if it's a man that thinks that women and men can't be platonic friends, then you gotta turn this horny
down just a little bit, just a little bit. That's probably what it is. Come, don't do that, down your horny down anyway. But yeah, most guys would just have to, like you know what I mean, adjusted thinking a little bit, you know what I'm saying, because they walk into these situations with one mind or one sided thoughts or one side of
mind. I feel bad for you if you think that, like it's either A you have too much coucie or B you gave away your couchie too much, or see, you never had the opportunity to feel safe and if with someone to be their friend without them trying to take advantage of you, like you know what I mean, Because I feel like that's also a thing too. How do y'all know, like women wise, if a nigga really got coulchie back in the day, I do know y'all have that like seventh sense.
Yes, you can always tell if a man is a late bloomer based on how he reacts to certain things and the way he moves. Right, If a nigga got a lot of coucie growing up, he's not pressed for coucie. Now you understand what I'm saying, Like, he's not going to feel like, oh, by date two, or because I spent this much money on you, or because I've done this amount of things for you.
But when i'm a fuck like eye, I am serious though. I feel like if you've always had it and it's always been in abundance, you're you're not so pressed for it. Yes, and we don't like it. We don't like it. We don't like it. And it's like it's nothing wrong with the late bloomers because I know a lot of you out there are. I just want y'all to understand that sometimes you gotta turn your honey down. Yeah, now we're all using it. How does that make you feel?

We always hear women on the internet coming from the standpoint of, you know, the dating world is trash, and you know it's nobody out here right now. Honestly, y'all, I'm gonna throw them under the bus a little bit, a little bit. I'm going to let throw them under the bus a little bit, right because staying in me are both single right and purposely single right. So I'm gonna ask you all some
of the questions that I feel like ladies want to know. Is that spit this? Why are y'all hosts? That wasn't the question? What or no? So I listen because I actually had a conversation with a girl before that says something like that, what makes it me in the hole because he's attractive because women like him, or because a lot of women like him, because because he continues to like date what we what we do is like date,
and y'all consider it like homing, traditional dating and stuff like that. I was actually thinking, because y'all brief like that's it, because y'all all holes, y'all all holes. I think that if you don't answer me that question, so you think all meils a holes? No, I don't think you know you have a son. My son is special, the princess. Okay, that's I do think that because here get the host, why y'all like this set started. So you say all that, and you see that young
brother, That young brother's coming up looking good. Man. I'm trying to tell you light skin already that should you know how you feel about light skins? You got the good here, young boy probably he probably already learned another language. You know what you're saying, bilingual? Any light skin any goody good here again, you see how they're trying to deflect it. Get a
different conversation. No, we don't go back to why they hold Okay, and I'm gonna say that, I'm gonna say this all right, not hosts. Right, but both of you are over a certain age. You don't have kids? No, No, because I'm both of you are over a certain age. You're attractive, you don't have kids. I'm old school though. That's choice. So you mean to tell me neither one of you have found a woman good enough to be with exactly. You're choosing to be a
house. It's not real. It really is a different like world that we're living in right now, like like the dating scene, like y'all say all the time, y'all just spew it out and say, oh, it's trash, it's trash. We feel the same way a lot of the times. But we just not out there gonna say it's trash because we still gotta be outside. You still gotta go ahead and fulfill whatever needs that you have as a man. So yeah, even though it's trash, she was air pollution,
you still went to work, didn't you a quality? You still took ass outside. I went to the story dodn't you. So it's like it's still thinks that you're gonna put up with to a certain extent. Now, you're not gonna subject yourself to like the bullshit on the Delhi or on the weekly or monthly that for that matter, But you're gonna put up with some of It's just how relationships are going. And that's why I'm single. I
mean, I'm gonna be real. I don't feel like I feel like, yes, all that is true for women though, like I don't hear men like complaining like oh I want to be in a relationship. We complain, Y're gonna call us pussys and bitches and saying down, no, you're not. Mostly you're not doing that. So you know, y'all don't think that y'all are intentionally not settling down right now, you're gonna tell me within the past year, neither one of you have found someone good enough to be with.
No, I would not say that I'm not I'm not gonna say. I'm not gonna say I haven't found anyone good enough to be with. We might not be at that point yet. There's been people that I've been talking to and we go out, we might hang out and talk all the time on the phone, bust it up. Were learning more about each other. But if we're not in a space to like move forward, then how am I going to move forward? Is the space to move forward? Comfortability learning?
I mean being comfortable learn enough about each other. Um Like as a from there's certain I guess points and tears in your relationship that you gotta it. I mean as you grow with benchmarks. Right, so you're saying you're single because you're open to it, you just haven't reached certain bench very open to me and and being with some especially at this age. It's like I
get to the point now where it's like I'm not outside as much. I'm not running around doing a lot of like things I was doing when I was younger ten years ago. This is not that so okay, gonna turn in thirty four this year. It's like I gotta start listen. You know the crazy part. Both of these motherfuckers older than me. So I am I ad, I am not younger than your birthday. It just passed. How old you thirty three? I am not older than you. When your birthday?
Tell him, I'm not older than When is your birthday? When your birthday? I'm not older. Let's get this the way. When your birthday, lady, when birthday? Tell y'all, Stormy is the same age as me, I am not. Her birthday just passed in, and my birthday is next month. So you see how they be tag teaming on working. I said, I'm younger than this. This is crazy. This is your comments sense, this is I literally just trying to support her, and she
said, Yo, that's crazy. See they trying to guess like me again, y'all. They're trying to focus on the birthdays instead of I'm really telling us why he's single. I literally just saying, when you just you just asked me, y'all, go yaya, don't stay focused. I'm trying to stay focused. He was trying to go on a birthday tangent. No, all right, I'm sorry, let's bring it back. No man, whose side are you on? Oh my god, that's a good that's a that's
a good man. It's a good one. That's a good one. Listen. I'm single because this year has literally been a lot. I've got a new position at my my job at the school. My DJ went off super fast, so my time at is really limited, revery very limited. So it's like I didn't want no one to get involved with me, and then I don't have enough time. I'm big on quality time. He says that a lot. So if I can't spend time with you, I feel like
you're not getting the best of me. And then when I am home the days that I don't have to DJ or do something to an event, I just want to be at home chilling. I don't want to go out. I don't want to do that. Yeah I have the money to do it, do I want to know? I just want to sit down and relax and eat pizza by yourself. No, if she's fine with that. But then it's like, though, then I feel like I deprive you because oh I want to do this, or I want to go away, or I
want to do that. I want to go out. It's like, yo, I want to, but it's like, yo, I really need to recharge. So you're single because you're becoming a pop pope. It sounds like you're single because he's uh, you can't find somebody to compromise with him, just I mean compromise because it feels like, yo, you're you're taking back when you say compromise, I mean, but we all have to at some point. I think compromise has a negative connotation for men because it usually involves
something. Yeah, yeah, so we have to give something and gain anything. But they hate it because they were like why you gotta take? Why why are you doing less? So it's like I'm not trying to not to do less, like I should be meeting in the middle. It should be it's alway. It's never fifty fifty. It never's going to be like a level scale. It's always gonna be one person feels this way, one person feels that way. So it's never gonna be the same, equal equal feelings.
But it's like that understanding of someone that can get it, like, all right, yo, you're working your your career, your business, everything is moving. So it's like I don't want to hold you up. I don't want to feel like I'm in your space, but I do want to be there and support you. Someone can't do that. I'm all for it, So I'm all I can understand. I'm single because I haven't reached certain benchmarks, or I'm single because you know, I want to make sure I'm
giving someone the time that I really have. Right But when you're still going through these single periods, do you think that sometimes the two of you take advantage of women and their time and their feelings and their emotions because you already know in your head that you're not in a space to move forward. Nope, because I tell them from the rip, I don't have the time. So if you still want to be cool and cordial, like, hey, we can communicate, we can call each other when we're each other free,
or we can make time to schedule to be around each other. Then that's what it is. I'm letting you know it right now. If things work and that, then let's do it. But if it doesn't, I'm letting you know right now. This is what it is. Me in particular, I have a little more time than stand does, like I do basketball trainers on the side but a lot of that is like based on like whatever schedule I make myself. So for me, it's not really even like benchmark things.
It's really just about being in the space with somebody every single day. And like you said, it's like relationships aren't fifty fifty, You're not. It will be fifty fifty. But but you got to understand with fifty fifty years, fifty fifty is literally like today it could be like I'm just not I'm just not feeling it. So you got to give ninety and I'm giving ten, and then then another day in me, I might be feeling it a little bit more, so I'm gonna give eighty five while you given the
fifteen. So yes, fifty fifty and compromising in totality like everything, But there are days where people just can't get past, like the small, small moments. I think maybe heaven and that's why the benchmarks ain't getting hit, because you know, you get a hiccup. People just nobody got to start all over, Nobody fighting for stuff no more. Everybody feel like they don't want to waste their time. Everybody seems selfish. That's what I'm thinking.
We're older, Who the fuck is we we're over. Y'all speak French now, yes? Oh we wait not me? Um okay, So let me ask you our question. Do you think that the two of you are dating with intentions right now? If I can? Yes? How how what's his dating with intentions look like for you? Um? Like I said, the quality of time? Uh, just trying to be around each other, making something positive out of whatever we're doing. So what's Yeah, we're trying to
build a connection. We're trying to build that genuine connection. Whereas damn, I've really been thinking about you. You know, while I'm out here doing this, I've been thinking about you. I'm anna checking or vice version. So it's like, yeah, this is what it's going to be. So all right, Oh you know what, I might not take a gig this day because I really care about you. I want to do something that's ain't
that's ain't a lot, That's what I'm saying. But in that person also got to understand like, damn, you don't really not go get you some money from me? All right, Well, well I'm gonna do something too.
