EP 16: Savannahry Em

In this episode, I chat with Savannahry Em. A Khmer American MMA fighter who was born in Long Beach California. Sovahnnary was raised by her mother and helped take care of her younger siblings. We talked about her fascination for Martial Arts growing up, watching Kung Fu movies, and Bruce Lee. She was introduced to a local boxing gym by her friend when she was 20 years old and the rest was history. She developed a love for mixed martial arts and began training for fun until her coaches noticed her potential to be great. They convinced her to try competing in competitions where she dominated, winning her first 2 fights via knock out in under 2 mins. This led to her professional MMA career and currently her goal is to become a One Champion, but more importantly she wants to use her platform to inspire young women to be sweet but savage.
