Hey y’all, it’s just Daisy today.

We wanted to share some very sad news — Mock’s son gained his angel wings early this morning. We know how much you all care about us and have become such a big part of our lives, so we wanted to let you know.

There won’t be a show today, but we’ll be back soon. In the meantime, please keep Mock and her family in your prayers and send them all your love.

Speaker 1

Hi, everybody. Hello, it's just me. We didn't even have an intro. Okay, Valin didn't even give me an intro. So here's the thing. I'm going to do the best that I can today. This is not going to be a regular show today. It's going to be short and sweet. We were doing pre show this morning and Miriam got a call that her son, Thomas passed away this morning. And if you've been here a hot minute, you know a little bit about Thomas. I'm going to get through this.

He was twenty eight years old. He had severe cerebral palsy. This was a kid who was not supposed to live past the age of sex, y'all, but he defied all the odds all the time. He was a freaking superhero. This kid, just like his mama. He had a just a wonderful disposition, smile everything. So Ever since i've known Miriam, which is the better part of twenty years, I've seen this kid go through hell and back time and time again, and he was always the happiest, sweetest warrior, totally his

mama's son. He was the luckiest boy to have the family that he had, Just an incredible family. You guys, if you know this family. I mean, I want to be adopted by his family. He had a great mom, wonderful dad, great grandparents, great auntie. They just all loved him so very much. And he taught people like me about resilience and love and what's truly important in life. So a couple things. Couple things. One is, hug your loved ones today and tell them what they mean to you. Two,

please pray for Mock and her family. She needs to be lifted up in prayer. And she knew this day was coming and we've talked about it a lot, and she wanted me to do this because she is the quintessential positive person and she likes to grieve and do these things privately. And I asked her, you know, I was like, hey, listen, do you want like a couple days off from work or you know, what do you want to do? And she's been going through this the past couple of weeks. And you know how she is,

you guys. She comes on the screen and she's happy, and she does her job and she's professional and she sees work as an escape from grief. And so just know that and give her grace when you see her next week. Please give her grace or you have to deal with me, okay, and pray for her, because you know, you don't always know what's happening behind closed doors, and in our case, you don't know what's happening behind the camera,

you know. So I just wanted to hop on and tell you guys what going on, because we love you guys, and our community has just always been there for us, like in some of the darkest, darkest times. So just to know that she appreciates you, guys, and I appreciate you guys so much for being there for her and praying for her, and thank you for all of it, and just continue to do that. And we love you so much and we will see you next week, okay. Thank you,
