Anel is a first generation Mexican American. She is a mother of two, Israel age 7 and Micaela age 5. She comes from a very tight knit extended family and grew up along side her tíos, tías, and cousins. Her mom and dad migrated to the US from La Trinidad, San Luis Potosí, Mexico in 1979 and had her in 1980.
