Rays defeat Cubs 6-5 in late inning thriller
Episode description
Cody and Luke react to a thriller where the Cubs never lead but kept things interesting. The Cubs dropped the second of three games against the Rays Tuesday night by a final score of 6-5. Patrick Wisdom and Wander Franco both hit homers for their squads. Nico Hoerner continued his strong play defensively and added a RBI-triple in the late innings to help bring the Cubs within one run, but the Rays held on behind strong pitching in the back of their bullpen. In the second segment we take a trip on the farm and discuss Brennan Davis' home run Tuesday night in Iowa and in the third segment we discuss what partner we'd like the Cubs to put on their sleeves after the announcement that the Padres are putting a Motorola logo on their sleeve next season.
