Did you know that your mind will quit before your body , meaning your physical body has the capability to go longer , faster and harder than we think we can . Hello and welcome to your pre-workout meditation .
My name is Jerry and I'm inviting you to join me for a short visualization to not only help you prepare for your workout , but to maximize the power you have , taking you to the next level and achieving your goals .
This meditation will help you focus on what you need to do to be the best you can be and not only hit those goals you've been striving for , but to push past them to greater heights . In this meditation , we will dig into your power that lies inside you and use your mind to tap into that power , connecting the mind and the body to reach its full potential .
So let's get started . Find a comfortable position , seated in a chair , feet solid on the floor , hands softly in your lap . Relax your eyes , relax your hands . Your shoulders are soft . You can feel your chest rise and fall with each breath . Take a big , deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth , focusing on your breath .
Notice the ease of the rise and fall of your chest with each breath , casting aside all thoughts , worries , taking this moment , right here , right now , to do what you need to do . Now that you're relaxed , focused , calm , picture your goal . What does it look like ? What's a mental picture of what you're trying to achieve ?
What does it look like in your mind's eye ? See yourself accomplishing and achieving that goal . You've got what it takes . What are the emotions you feel when seeing yourself achieving your goal ? Do you feel confidence , power , energy , excitement , resilience , joy . Start with these emotions , soak them into your bones . Start with the top of your head .
Visualize those sensations , move the feeling down your face , feel the power , expand and grow . Feeling to your arms , your torso , your hips , thighs , calves , feet . Stay in the moment , enveloping the whole body with energy , power , health , goodness . Watch the glow of this power .
Fill you up , growing and expanding outside your body , surrounding you , covering you , giving you energy in your muscles , lungs , feeling power and energy throughout every cell in your body .
Mentally picture yourself starting your workout , moving through each stage , seeing the work , the effort , the sweat , moving one step closer to your goal , seeing yourself strong , finishing your best , leaving it all on the floor . You have nothing left but pride in giving it your all .
Take another big , deep breath in through your nose and let it out through your mouth . Stay here for a few moments . Soak it in , own it . It's yours , take your power , know your power and give this workout all of you . Thank you for taking the time to meditate with us and to light the fire within you . Take it to the level that you were meant to be .
