I invite you to come alongside me and take a journey . We will escape from the stresses of life and visually travel together to a beautiful place the ocean . Imagine the most beautiful color of water . Have you been to this place or is this a new adventure ? Look at the water glisten in the sun . What colors do you see ? The water is moving .
Is it still and calm , or big waves that rise up and crash to the surface ? Look around you . What do you see ? Do you see white , soft sand ? Imagine yourself reaching down and touching that warm sand . Can you feel the warmth of the grain on your fingertips ? We're sitting on top of a waterfall watching the water fall into the pool below .
You see yourself walking on the sand . You draw near to the shore . Seed trees , birds , coconuts , vibrant tropical flowers . The smell it smells of fresh gardenias mixed with pineapple and sunshine . Stay in this place . Absorb your surroundings , the feel of the sun on your skin , the gentle ocean breeze across your face .
This is your place , your time Choosing to rejuvenate the soul . Take a big , deep breath , breathe in the tropical goodness . What do you smell when you breathe out ? Let go of any stress that's holding on . Breathe in , breathe out . Breathe in , breathe out .
Now that you're relaxed , settled , calm , in your beautiful place , where you are absorbing the sounds , the smells , the sights , the touch , what else do you notice ? Are there waves rolling softly against the shore ?
How does this sound make you feel Peaceful , easy , calming , as you lay in the space and envelop the sounds , the smells , the temperature and the air , the gentle breeze kissing your face . I want you to imagine floating on the water . You walk out into the water , into the ocean , feeling the waves crashing against your legs .
You lie down on the water and you're floating . Your eyes are closed . You are safe in this moment . Notice your body riding each gentle rolling wave going up and down , and as you're floating and you're going up , you breathe in and as you ride the wave down , you breathe out . Notice your body moving with the rise and the fall of the water .
As the wave rises , let the momentum of the water fill you with power . As the waves fall , imagine the water washing over you and through you , leaving you feeling lighter , happier , focused .
Continue this practice as long as you'd like , staying with the sounds of the waves , choosing to stay in this moment , becoming more peaceful , assured and happier with each wave that washes over you .
Coming back to your , breath , wiggling your fingers , your toes , taking your time and breathing in your fingers , your toes , feeling the space , absorbing the feelings , the goodness , and join the peace , the lightness and ease to continue your day . Come back to this meditation anytime you need to escape the stresses of life .
