Louis Bianco, RN, CPS, is a 36-year-old native of Central Pennsylvania.  Over the past 20 years, he has been a part of the mental health system in PA, as a consumer, a peer specialist, and a psychiatric nurse. Louis has continued to advocate for a greater understanding of mental health in the state of Pennsylvania, through close to four years of volunteering as a public speaker and advocate.  In 2019 alone, He has spoken at a state conference for health educators about the creation of  K-12 curriculums.  He has sat on a panel with police officers and caseworkers to discuss mental health to criminal justice majors at West Chester University. He has spoken to over 700 high school sophomores at Cumberland Valley High School’s First-ever Wellness Summit. Additionally, Louis' first published book titled, "Mental Health DisABILITY: Perception vs. Reality" was released earlier this month.
