Episode description

Holly Miller lives in Harrisburg, PA where she is a high school math teacher with a “stubborn hopefulness”. She became a mental health advocate after being diagnosed and struggling with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder in 2015. She uses social media as a way to tell her story and bring awareness to mental health. Holly has also recently been diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Follicular Lymphoma (NHFL) in November 2021. NHFL is a slow growing, incurable, but treatable blood cancer. She is currently consulting with her oncologist to seek a plan for treatment in 2022. You can find out more about Follicular Lymphoma at the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation’s website https://www.theflf.org.  Holly is a part of their online support group on Facebook “Living with Follicular Lymphoma”. If you would like to follow her journey, she can be found on Instagram at ThatHersheyParkGirl. (She is also a theme part enthusiast!) Holly also can be reached through email at HollyMiller1886@gmail.com.
