In our first foray into Hosea we saw how God compared Israel to an adulteress. This week we’ll move ahead in Hosea, as we examine chapters 4-7 where the prophet spells out the transgressions that God finds so repugnant: sins and mindsets that may look all too familiar.
What does it feel like to be God? A question like that generally focuses on power and knowledge, but how about when it comes to God’s relationship with humans?
