This is iHeartMedia's CEOs you should know, sponsored by Comcast Business Powering Possibilities. So the Commonwealth has very ambitious climacals. I think we all recognize with global warming we need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and National Grid wants to be a partner in progress in that energy transformation. Hi, my name is Lisa Wheelan

and I'm the president of National Grid, New England. Increasingly people are going to be more dependent upon us. It won't just be about keeping the lights on or keeping the food in the refridge cold. Right, So if you think about needing to charge your electric car, if you think about heating your home, you're going to expect fewer disruptions. So people are going to need more choices about how they consume energy, and we want to be there to

help them provide that. So we have a two billion dollar investment plan that we have proposed to build the future grid, that smarter, stronger, cleaner grid to make sure that we can also provide safe, reliable, affordable energy and also make that transition equitable. One of the things that I've just been so impressed about is how deeply committed our team is at National Grid to the communities we serve beyond just making sure that people have the power that they need

and the energy that they need. So through our Grid for Good program, we've invested in small businesses in our communities. We also have energy savings program, and we also volunteer at a lot of community organizations that could use our health. CEOs You Should Know is powered by iHeartMedia and sponsored by Comcast Business, powering possibilities all the speed your business needs. With Comcast Business, it's not just possible, it's happening.
