Celtic Hero and former professional footballer Alan Thompson joined us on the podcast for an interview on his footballing career and his new book 'A Geordie Bhoy'
Alan played for Clubs including Newcastle, Bolton, Aston Villa, Celtic, Leeds and Hartlepool.
Coming through the youth at Newcastle and moving to Bolton before Aston Villa and Celtic.
Well known for having a unbelievable left foot but his ability to deliver balls and set pieces all Celtic fans will be able to tell you.. Alan played and scored in so many derby games against Rangers he chats to us about how intense the games was what it was like playing with players like Larsson, Sutton, Hartson and being managed by Martin O'Neil
The run in Sevilla is a memory that sticks out to most Celtic fans and Alan talks us through the goals and nights during that UEFA Cup run and the final itself.
