Bernard Tararo preaches on the purifying work that happens when we God takes us through battles in our lives. The Lord took Israel through the wilderness for 40 years so that He could purify them before they entered the promised land. Often we want to skip straight to the blessing or the promises of God in our lives, but the Lord will often take us through battles and trials so He can refine us and use these seasons to chip away at our character. Don't despise the battles but instead embrace them and allow God to do what He desires to these battles.
