Our defence against the devil is growth in the knowledge of God’s word.
Here are some key points to note in Bible interpretation:
- The most important thing is to know the person the Bible speaks of. And that person is Christ.
- We must note that a lot of metaphors were used to describe Jesus. Therefore, we must seek to understand what it truly means.
- God judges greatness by our encounter with the truth.
Your first primary encounter must be the Word of God. The word of God is your security, and Jesus remains the focus.
