Like Incense - Catch Fire

From the moment you believed in Jesus, you became different, peculiar (1 Peter 2:9). You are so different fundamentally that it has to be evident. You are so different that if you blend in, you should be afraid.

Be intentional about your charismatic ministry. Like Elijah, you can call forth fire on your altar. Like David, you can command your desires and emotions (Psalms 103:1). The same way a drunken man drank himself to stupor, you can get yourself filled with the spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Don't wait for God to set you on fire, set yourself on fire!!!

The power in you, the fire is for the transformation of lives and for drawing people to salvation. It is for purification, sanctification, and consecration of the hearts of men (Matthew 3:11-12).
