Growing In Love

1 John 4:7
Love is of God and everyone who loves is born of God.

People must see us and know us by our love walk.
We know we’re growing when the word of God can stripe us bare so we can correct ourselves.

Phil 1:9
Your love can grow and it can be excellent.
Any knowledge that doesn’t increase your humility & consecration is very dangerous that’s why we should let our love grow, decide to stop playing church, show love and admit that we can do better

How do I know I am growing in love ~ John 14:21 ?

💞 When there’s a growing urge in obeying the commands of God, not out of duty but out of interest. You’re growing in love when you keep the commandments of God. Obedience is God’s love language 😍.

💞 When we walk in love even when we don’t feel like it.
Christ is our standard of love. The context of God’s love is salvation. When you know the eternal description of God’s love, your perspective about the love of God will no longer be fluctuating. No matter what anyone does to you, it will be petty to bring it up before God because you’ve received the endless love of God.

💞 When you have the fear of God.
Your growth in knowledge must come with growth in sanctification.
Romans 12:1-2, this is a good response to grace. You should treat people nice and well because of GOD.
