Episode description

In the parable of the sower, Jesus described some seeds which fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. He explained that he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. Matthew 13:7&22

The effectiveness of the word is not about how viable the seed is but where it falls. No matter how much you are growing in the word of God, if you don't learn how to handle trials, you'll have issues.
To be anxious is to have full mental distress or uneasiness because of fear of danger or misfortune; to be greatly worried.

Our culture thrives on worry. There is always something to be worried about. Worry is a bad habit. It is a bad method of handling pressure. There are other ways of handling pressure. The concerns may be legitimate but worrying is going about them the wrong way. Some people are even worried about things that are going well because they fear that it will end one day. Sometimes we create scenarios that are not real and we are worried about them. According to research, 95% of people who visit physicians visit for stress-related issues.
It is one thing to emphasize the healing power of God and it is another to allow the word to impact this aspect of your life. We have to learn to deal with anxiety with the word of God.
