Episode 41: A wonderful conversation with a Scots Woman transplanted to Austin, TX. Hazel has been working for the environment for many years and even after some pretty terrible health issues is still going strong. Ani and Ty interviewed Hazel who lives and works to combat deforestation in the rain forests of South America. Her organization, Rain Forest Partnership, is a non-profit that works with indigenous peoples to find ways to make them self sufficient so they can push back against the companies that are buying rights to clear the forests. Hazel's early career was with an oil company but even then she was pushing to save the environment.--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast.
