Episode description

Former President Trump is pushing for a deal that would grant the U.S. a major stake in Ukraine's natural resources, including its vast titanium reserves, in exchange for post-war reconstruction. CEO Andriy Brodsky questions Trump's estimates, while experts say U.S. investment could bring security guarantees. Imtiaz Tyab reports. Utah could be the first state to ban wide-scale fluoridation of public water. Supporters say a ban would give people the freedom to make their own medical decisions, but one family says it would make their medical care much more difficult. Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate are temporarily free after returning to the U.S. and landing in Florida on Thursday. They were arrested in Romania in 2022 and are accused of rape, human trafficking and forming a gang to sexually exploit women. The brothers deny the charges. CBS News' Ramy Inocencio has the latest. For the latest installment of the "CBS Mornings" series "The State of Spirituality with Lisa Ling," she explores why Islam is rapidly growing behind bars, with tens of thousands of U.S. inmates converting each year. The season two premiere of "1923," starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, drew over 5.4 million viewers, making it the biggest original premiere in Paramount+ history. Holly Williams speaks with Mirren about the hit "Yellowstone" prequel and her legendary career.
