A Morning Service for the 11th of October

Welcome to the Morning Service from Glasgow Cathedral for the 11th of October. . We hope you enjoy worshiping with us this morning. We'd hoped to be able to provide a live stream of the service from the Cathedral this morning, but the increase in the Corona virus cases in Scotland means that we have had to take the reluctant decision not to proceed with live services in the presence of a congregation. As there was not time to record and edit a whole new service,  this  then, is a repeat of the one first broadcast on the 6th of September in which Rev Mark steps out of the Cathedral and into the sunshine to consider how we might show a little mercy, thoughts based on today's Gospel reading from Matthew. The anthem is Orlando Gibbon's Almighty and everlasting God and the hymns include Defend me, Lord and Spirit of mercy
