Captured by Compassion

Someone once quoted this line;

“Charity is more common than compassion. Charity is tax-deductible. Compassion is time consuming.”

Jesus was moved with an internal yearning, and deep sense of sympathy called compassion towards the hurting, the rejected, and the outcasts. Because of his concern for hurting people, He would not ignore or walk away from meeting a need.

Compassion never walks away from people in great pain, in desperate need or in deep spiritual poverty.
Compassion will not let you go so easily.
