Hi, I'm Gail Nobles on the Cat Bear. I hope you enjoy listening. I've been searching to find some great new sounds from other artists for the new retro. When I think of retro, I think of all the old hits that radio use to play. When I was growing up, I don't remember anyone saying black radio or white radio. You heard both black and white artists that made hits whether it was soul, country, or disco.

And speaking of country, I remember some good old country songs like the 1975 novelty song "Convoy" by C.W. McCall, and "The Devil Went Down In Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band in 1979. There's a new country song that I came across. It reminds me of an old country style. It's called "Tracing My Steps".
