Hi, I'm Gail Nobles. I've got some sad news today. According to the Headlines, Rudolph Issley other Isley Brothers has passed away at age eighty four. He was one of the founding members of the Isley Brothers. According to the news, Rudolph died from a heart attack at his home. He wrote and recorded and released the first significant recording, Shout, with his brothers, landing a deal with RCA Records in nineteen fifty nine. Shout was inducted to
the Grammy Hall of Fame in nineteen ninety nine. Rudolph and his brothers also had other hits like Bad Lady and It's Your Thing. Following Shout, Rudolph and his brothers recorded for other labels with modest success, with exceptions including the top forty hit Twist and Shout and the motown hit This Old Heart of Mine is Weak for you. I'm Gil Nobles. You're listening to the CB News Break
