187: South American Folklore

Hey cryptic cuties, we hope you are enjoying our South America focused eps for the last couple weeks. We love learning about different countries and their folklore, and are always excited to share it with you all. 

Kelsey takes a dive into the beliefs of the Mapuche people of Chile and Argentina, whose folklore centers around duality and balance between opposing forces, bleeding into everything, including their creatures. 

Alanna shares the history of el duende, a trickster spirit that may try to lure you into the woods. It is said to target lonely single women , or only children, or only men, it really depends on what you are reading.
