So tell us a little bit about inhumanoids. I don't know what to do right now. I don't remember this cartoon at all. It's a very good phrase. I remember inhumanoids that it was around, but I don't remember ever seeing any episodes. Because it's only 16. That's why you didn't remember.
That, that, that will explain. So, okay. So pretty much, I don't know anything either. And then reading up on how they used to air explains a lot. Why didn't watch them? So inhumanoids tells the story of scientist, scientist superhero group called the Earth corpse. As they battle a trio of subterranean monsters called the inhumanoids. There were only three of them. Yep. All this trouble for just three. No wonder only last 15 episodes.
So yeah, three inhumanoids with the aid of elemental beings called Moutours. Moutours. Moutours. So again, like I said, only last 15 episodes, but these 15 episodes were now your conventional cartoons where you had like, you know, 20 something minute cartoon that were aired. Apparently this, they only showed six to seven minutes shorts. So they broke those 15 episodes, broke them up into about six to seven minutes.
And it was part of the Super Sunday half an hour block alongside other Marvel and Sunbow series, Bigfoot and the muscle machines, robotics, and my personal favorite and yours too, Frank, Gem and Holograms. I definitely love that, love that cartoon. So yeah. So but when you break it down, most of them only had, most of them had about 15. Bigfoot only had nine episodes, but they was broken out into like almost, well, I think almost get close to syndication numbers breaking all those episodes down.
So every week you didn't get like just because you watch this Sunday doesn't mean that next Sunday you got another episode of humanoid. You have to watch it eventually. You have to wait. So they only air like two or three. They didn't, not every week it was every, they didn't do every three every Super Sunday. I got to do the math. Oh, wait, they could have. Yes. Because there were only three of them, right? Yeah. And this was, oh, no, it's four. Gem in humanoid robotics, robotics and Bigfoot.
And if you do six minutes, six times four, it'd be tough, but yes, I guess you could 24 minutes, 24 minutes, but the usually is like 22 minutes, 20 minutes, but okay. And this was in the era of sectors. Yeah. Yeah. Jesus. That plant, that plant thingy and captain power, laser tag, all that, all that. It was a bad year. Thank God. Thank God for a transformation. Yeah. Yeah. This is this book came out 1980.
This cartoon came out 1986, which means we have the wonderful Transformers, the movie and Gio. Yes. So we had that. They both tanks. What are you talking about? Well, financially, I think for me as a child, I know I loved it too, but they both tank. That's why Gio, the movie was cut into five pieces and placed on TV. And Transformers, the movie didn't make a big back the budget and it scarred kids for life when they killed Optimus Prime.
Well, I remember that they were supposed to kill Duke in the movie, but because of the reaction, what happened to Prime? Put him in a coma. Because you know why he had a better doctor, they killed a doctor on a, they killed a, didn't it? Oh, that's right. They shot Ratchet. They shot Ratchet. Yeah. We're wrong.
